mini rant about paw furs
Posted 10 years agoApologies in advance. Especially if you are a paw fur. Just something that bugs me as "feet" and people with foot fetishes turn me off real quick.
I love paws. Little bean toes on kitties, or squishing dog paws etc, but the way the fandom treats them is as if they were feet. It's worse on anthros. Because they look more like feet. I guess i wouldn't mind as much if it were more of a hand paw.....thing? Front paw instead of hind paws? Fuck. I don't know.
I love cute animal paws like on kitties but furries just make me feel weird, uncomfortable, and creepy about it.

sorry for my mood lately
Posted 10 years agoI know life is rarely kind and going well for anyone but my life is kinda mammoth these days so I just wanted to apologize for all the grumpiness and sadness I've been radiating. I am trying to get professional help but I've been bogged down with a lot of red tape. And unprofessional doctors simply pushing me out thr door treating me like a number rather than a patient.
My medicine is being experimented with so that's another issue that contributes to it all. Along with the side effects so i sleep a lot therefore I'm seen as lazy. But i don't get a lot done. And when i do get something done it's just in time for my father to get home and he's in a bad mood and tskes it out on mr and just not fun.
I know it's all rather plain and domestic stuff.....but my brain wants me to kill myself constantly anf that's not fun.
So thank you all for your patience and understanding. I want to make it clear. I am trying to recover. Just frustrate at the pace it's taking. And how powerless i feel about it.

Posted 10 years agoI'm prone to outbursts of extreme sadness and hopelessness. Especially when it comes to what I'm going to do as a career, or hell even just a job to pay bills.
Art is seeming like a more and more hopeless thing since no matter what I do no matter how much I undersell myself no one is buying.
And I don't know. I just keep breaking into theses bursts of hysteria and sobbing and crying and I don't even know what I'm going to do.
I'm just in tears right now and I want to die.

First with my cintiq not having any pressure sensitivity, to now even on my intuos having this incredible lag....
I'm really confused. I've checked my stabilizer, I've edited settings, not really sure what to do. Any help?

Posted 10 years agoI'm still unsure on it. Though I think I might charge about $35 for them? Mostly because each icon is almost 20 drawings that's individually lined, colored, and shaded. Not including the eye light effect.
I also might have to limit it to characters without hair. ( I can't quite imagine having to implement the hair physics lmao, it would just be a mess of hair flying around)
What I might do is just apply it to a base and see how that works out? Though I like the flexibility to apply it differnt per person.....
or fuck maybe I"ll just do an auction??? ; - ; idk.
