Anthrocon 2012 Photos!
Posted 13 years agoThanks for all the +favs, the comments and the help ID'ing the suits I took photos of on Friday.

I was out having so much fun Saturday, I didn't get the camera out. But don't fret, my buddy Ashes promised me he'd take my camera to Anthrocon on Sunday. (I couldn't be there. One of the other collies on the farm gotted sick so I had to cover. ) He told me he took lots of pictures until the camera battery died.
I'm excited and anxious about that. I'm excited to see what photos he took, but anxious about ALL the TIME it's going to take to process and upload the good ones. It might take a few weeks, but I want to get them up for the suiters and my friends here to see.
If any of you see any pictures of me, please give me a shout with a link. I like to see piccies of me too. *giggles*
Anthrocon was awesome. I echo many of my friends when I say, "BEST CON EVAR!!"

Anthrocon Collie Photoshoot!

I've heard from about four collies so far, but I know that's not all of you! We did this a couple years ago and had a lot of fun meeting and romping with each other.

If you have a collie fursona, Border, English, Bearded, Rough or Smooth and are interested in getting together for a few minutes of Collie Cuddles and fun, drop me a reply here. Fursuits are not necessary but if you have one by all means wear it.
After some discussion...Shetland Sheepdogs are welcome as well. They're like little versions of us anyway. :) Oh...and so are Aussies then too, cuz they're just collies without tails. *giggles*
Oh! Oh! There was some excited discussion and we definitely will welcome folks with sheep fursonas and/or fursuits who may be at AC. Not goats though...definitely not goats...or boats either. Rams...maybe.
I was thinking Friday afternoon, 2pm in the DLCC across from the Ballroom where they usually take the "Professional" Photos. We can have some candids taken after out in the open area under the skylights.
Short notice but I've been real busy with the sheepies. Please spread the word. Let me know! It'll be fun!

swiftfox...is very sad over the passing of his Mother. I know he was having trouble inspiring me before she died, but now he has no inspiration at all to give me my bounce.
I hope he gets better soon because I really, really, really like to bring him and everyone else happiness and smiles. Right now all I feel is empty inside and that doesn't feel very good at all.

Winter Doldrums

Hi everyone! Sorry y'all haven't seen much of me lately. Not really felt much like bein' seen. Girl thinks it's cuz it's winter cuz I tend to get the doldrums when it's dark more than it's sunny. There's not even much snow to play in and lift my spirits.

Work is kinda dull and boring. When Master does let the sheepies out to pasture and give me somethin' to do, they just stay all huddled in a tight group to stay warm while I freeze my pads off watchin' them.

I got a webcam thingie for Christmas and I've see other furs having great fun for a few hours getting on line and video chatting with others or a group of others. Sounds like a fun way to pass the time on chilly winter evenings.
I was wondering which interface folks were using to do that so I can look into it.

Santa passed me over this year...
Posted 14 years ago...but that's alright. I have my Girl, my family, my friends, and my sheepies. I have had a years worth of bright smiles on faces young and old and lots of quality play time.
Santa can't bring me these things all on one day. Instead he shares a little bit of his magic with me every time I get out to play which allows me to spread that magic to others.
For all of that I am truly thankful and wouldn't change a thing.
So I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and have something of it's magic that you can take with you into the New Year ahead. A little magic to keep the joy of giving, of laughter and of love alive in the hearts of everyone you touch.

Posted 14 years agoOnly four photos of me have popped up on FA? I guess that's probably about right as I didn't have "Flash Eyes" after 20 minutes or less of being out and about at Midwest Furfest.
Even taking that into consideration, I know a lot of furs took my picture at the con.
I'll keep an eye out, but if any of my friends see a photo of me that I haven't already +faved, please let this lil collie know.

I've been exceptionally quiet. It's lambing time so I've been busy with that. When I catch a break I'm living out Winona's life on Sweet Apple Acres, outside of Ponyville, via Twitter. (mlp_winona)

Posted 14 years agoI need to work out a farm girl look for April that I can use sans the body suit with a pair of bib overalls.
Mostly I need an idea for the long sleeved shirt to wear underneath it. I'm totally coming up with a blank on that aspect of the costume. I don't want it to be pink because her bandanna is pink. But it should be girly and farm-girlish.
