And yet here we are, fifty of you guys are doing exactly that! Reaching my first major milestone on the site deserves a bit of a celebration, don't you think? So, free art raffle time!

The idea to open up for cheap commissions has been on the back of my mind for a while now. I'm not sure if I'm quite at that level yet, but I wanted to hear what the masses (does 31 people count as a mass?) have to say. Nothing too pricey, maybe 20 bucks at most for a single character, colored piece? I dunno, still assessing how pricing might work, if I even get that far.

So I guess leave any comments, interest, concerns, or soulful pleas to never draw again down below. Um, preferably not that last one, but speak your mind regardless. Thanks!

"Flora heals an aching soul!"

Exactly one year ago, December 21, 2020 (you know, give or take a few hours), I posted the first public art of my sona Ralus here. It's been quite the journey, learning just how to art. I went from doing everything on one layer on the first piece to doing 30+ layer monsters on some recent pieces. And let me tell you, I'm not slowing down anytime soon! I've still got some stories to tell about Ral, whether he's fighting in his MMA gear or getting medieval. And not all the art's gonna be from me. I'd like to start commissioning others to draw my dragon. One commish is already in the pipelines, and I'm pretty stoked to see the end result.

Just wanted to say thanks to my small group of watchers, and that one friend I made on Discord! Thanks for liking my amateur drawings!

Just wanted to put it out there that I'm going to be no-life-ing the new Pokemon games over the next couple weeks, so don't expect any art from me for a bit. I'll still be active here, faving and occasionally commenting, but no drawings. I figure once I hit the post-game, I'll start finding time to draw again between breeding projects. As a reference, I'm about to challenge Crasher Wake, so roughly halfway there. Heracross is being a bitch to find, so I subbed him out for Croagunk. The team's Torterra, Luxray, Floatzel, Murkrow, Bronzong, and Croagunk. That's it from me.

I'll leave you with this quote: "A life with no cake is no life at all." What kind of cake? Use your imagination....

Now that I'm firmly entrenched in my new job, and have a more relaxed work/life balance, I'm gonna have more time to dedicate to drawing. So I figured I'd share some tidbits for next month's pieces.

But why August? The sweltering NY summer heat keeping me inside? OK, maybe, but it's also my 27th birthday! (Christ, how time flies....) In celebration, I'm gonna draw my characters in a small party setting, have two of my OCs duke it out to settle a score, and most intriguing, post my first 18+ piece (not necessarily in that order)! Nothing overtly explicit, and I plan to post a safer version alongside it. Nobody gets left out of the festivities here! Look forward to it, folks!
