Had some troubles with the email resetting tool. Turns out for some reason I had it end with hotmail instead of gmail. I have an alt hotmail of that name so it did work once I knew that's what it was but I only ever used it briefly for some security reasons back in 2014 so why it was my email here of FA I'm not sure, I'm guessing most likely because I just typed it wrong by mistake as I've never had the intent to use that alt email for this place.. odd. Had the FA staff not taken over a week to respond I could've been here faster, but whatever, I'm back and that's all that matters!

I have just finished relocating my old geocities PSP wallpaper homepage to angelfire.
The first version is converted and working, check it out on your PSP today!
It's not perfect and I need to re-do everything from scratch some day to better fit angelfire's extremely limited tools, but all the old wallpapers are intact and available again after far too many years.

My internet connection went out due to a lightning strike during a thunderstorm and during the downtime I made some text/ascii/unicode art in Notepad, among many more the re-created Rouge The Bat VMU icon from Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast in my journal header right now.

Happy 6th Birthday Rat!

I got him a Mega Drive.

He loves it.

I had an accident and injured my back a couple weeks back, been to the doctors and had x-rays done now and thankfully it's not very serious but it'll still take a few months for it to get better, it'll be a permanent damage but not one that's dangerous by itself but it will be a weak point on my spine all my life, during the following months I will be eating painkillers and resting while still being physically active as much as I can.

It's Passover/Easter/whatever you wanna call it when kids dress up as witches and go ask for candy in non-Halloween celebrating countries.

Woo. Candy. Yay.

Anyway, I'll be uploading a couple of sketches later today, one brand new made for this year's Passover/Easter holiday starring Rouge The Bat reprising her role as a Passover/Easter witch on her way to Blockula and another of Rouge I made a while ago that I'm working on digitalizing but isn't finished yet.

Now I'm off to bed after having stayed up all night waiting for and watching the animated Batman movie Batman and Mr. Freeze - SubZero about Mr. Freeze kidnapping Barbara Gordon because she has the same blood type as Nora Fries.
Why they sent this animated kids movie at 4:30 at night remains a mystery.

Ok, so I've been receiving complaints about the Yule Rouge 2012 pic I uploaded so I went ahead and updated it a little. I also saved it as .png to preserve the quality a little bit extra. So anyone who feels like saving it now is adviced to rename the file extension when saving it to .png because it's still linked as a .jpg on FurAffinity.
It should still work even with a .jpg name but if you wanna be safe just rename it.

Yes, November 18th came and went and Rat had yet another birthday.

This year he had a royal trio wishing him a happy birthday, Chrysalis from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, The Dark Queen from Battletoads and Roodaka from LEGO Bionicle.

That lucky rodent!

Today I went and got the urn back with Kalle's ashes. It was with heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I left the vet and went home. I had other things to do today but I just couldn't function enough to take on anything other than the trip home.

It's been very hard to cope these two weeks since it happened but even though today was a heavy load on my emotions it at least feels like he's back home now where he belongs, and I can at last feel some kind of closure over all of this.

It's still not easy doing anything normal yet, like eating, sleeping or focusing on anything at all is virtually impossible for anything longer than a few minutes.

I have not been able to draw anything or make anything in 3D at all either and I don't know when I'll be able to feel any inspiration for such things just yet.

I just cry a lot all the time and keep replaying those days two weeks ago in my head over and over, I honestly don't know where to go from here. I'm just taking it one day at a time right now.

His bladder had lots of little mineral crystals in it that blocked him from being able to pee, causing his bladder to fill up and stretch to a life threatening size. This happened to late at night to go to any local vet so I had to wait till morning when they opened to help him. It was the worst night of my life by far, and I've been through a lot of tough shit in my days.
When I finally got him to the vet they said it was a serious case and he had suffered a lot of internal damage to his bladder being stretched and severely weakened and the muscles surrounding it were also in extremely bad shape, they said it would be extremely costly to try and help him but I chose to give it a shot, I would've done just about anything at that moment to save his life, if only to at least give him a chance at a better more pleasant final night of being alive than that hell of agony and torture he had to go through the night before.
They took him in and did their best, and while they were able to get his urethra clean från the blocking crystals they also said he was in bad condition and I should prepare for the worst. They kept him over the day and I picked him up to keep him at home over night to see if he would recuperate with proper medicines and stuff to help and I was to bring him back to the vet this morning to see if he had been able to pee and empty his bladder properly, if he was unable to do this by himself then the damage was too severe and there was no way of saving him.
Last night was bad but after I gave him the first medicine at least he was starting to feel better, the swelling went down, the influence of the drugs were starting to wear off and he slowly started acting like himself again.
I was so out of energy from crying and in pain because of all the tension and worrying that I decided that I should rest just for a short while, he was still resting inside a cat tube play toy thingy at this point, and I fell asleep almost instantly.
I woke up about an hour later, no pain, no feeling of sorrow and sadness, I honestly felt fantastic, almost euphoric, as if all my troubles has just gone away. I realized why almost instantly, my cat had come up in the bed and was pressed against me like he always does every night when we go to sleep, and it just hit me that there was literally only one thing that could make me survive this, and that was my cat showing me that he was able to enjoy life till the end, rather than having to die a painful horrible death. And so, I pretty much accepted that he would not make it and was because of this able to fully enjoy the rest of the night with him and make it into the best night of my life (even with the eventually sad outcome included) because he was there and he was himself, not that cat from the night before in so much pain that was literally giving up and just laying there wanting to die but a cat that was able to get up and eat, play and just be himself as if he was perfectly fine. It warmed my heart to see him able to enjoy life and live life to the fullest like he should before the end rather than being in pain and agony before the end.
I did everything in my power to give him a worthy ending in life, and I'm still here to remember him because I was able to give him this.
If I would have failed to give him that second chance at a worthy ending then I would not have been able to live with myself and would have done the only thing I could, making up for failing his life by giving mine.
Now instead I owe my life to my cat several times over, and I will honor his life by living mine.
I love my cat beyond what can be measured in words, he not only gave me reason to survive but reason to live, in all my worst of times what kept me going, what got me out of bed in the morning, what got me to eat and sleep to be able to wake up alive the very next day no matter how much my life sucked in all other ways was him, always him, only him. I was in pain and had no energy to do anything and the weather was bad but I'd still go out just to buy cat food and litterbox sand, I lived for him and he was my reason to live.
I will always treasure the time we had together and my memories of him and us together will never fade, all his toys and other stuff, all the photos and all the videos I have of him and us will keep my memories fresh for the rest of my life.

My beloved Kalle, now you can rest in peace and you never have to suffer again, this was my final gift to you.
I will miss you forever, you gave me life and meaning when I thought it was over and kept me going through what otherwise would've been the end of me.
You were my all, and I gave it my all to help you to the very end.

As you may understand by reading this, all art I am working on will be on hold for a while, I just can't focus and do that right now.

I hate teeth. From as far back as I can remember all I've wanted was to pull all my teeth out so I couldn't have any problems with them ever again. If that meant a life of soup and mashed potatoes that's fine!

A moment ago a filling in one of my root canals fell out, wasn't eating or doing anything it just fell out of the tooth and onto my tongue. I called my dentist and got a time on friday, meaning I gotta go almost three days until I cen get it fixed.

Computer's dead.


UPDATE 15/7/2012:

I got Windows 7 Home Premium (and 8) installed on my new PC finally!

I'm still learning Win 7/8 seeing as I have only used XP until now. It's a downgrade from XP in just about every way so far, but for now it'll have to do and I'll just have to cope with it.

I'm currently installing stuff, a lot of stuff sadly doesn't work with Win 7 it seems, and until I get settled with all this new stuff don't hold your breath for any new art...

I've joined SoFurry and InkBunny, in the near future I will be checking them out to see if they are any good, if they meet my standards, if I like them and if they have any content from other users that is frequently updated and relevant to my interests.

I will stay here on FA as well, for now, to see how things turn out with this new version of the site. They can after all theoretically still fix all the problems...

No new art will be submitted ANYWHERE until things have settled down, I don't want my art scattered all over the place.


TINY UPDATE:
I've uploaded some random stuff to my deviantart gallery. Nothing directly furry related though.

If FA doesn't get it together and fix the compatibility for the site to the same levels as the real/normal/"old" FA then I will have no other option than leaving in search for a new place to host my art, one that actually works.

And NO, I am NOT going to change everything I have to access one site so don't bother trying to talk me into changing all my hardware/software just to stay on this glitchy incompatible flawed stupid annoying ugly as sin new FA, because that will never ever happen.

I've managed to put together a functional computer!
I took parts from my two old broken computers, combined them with a part from the new empty one and by their powers combined I now have one ALMOST functional computer!

I haven't been able to get a soundcard working properly yet so there's no sound, but I can still use graphical programs like photoshop.

New art and uploads have never been closer!

Now I'm going to rest though, I've been up all night trying to get all this to work and I'm all out of energy and about to collapse...

The Good:
lots of functions (cameras etc.)
two analog sticks
great screen
A LOT cheaper than I thought

The Bad:
no UMD
touch screen controls only, even in-game menues were touch screen only
no XMB (cross media bar, the original PSP operating system)
all buttons are poorly designed, too small and poorly placed
bad placement of dual analog sticks
WipEout 2048 didn't even use the right analog stick, I had to accelerate with X and the analog stick was constantly in the way

I still want one, but I'll wait.

Still not quite well from the flu, so I can't visit anyone who has a computer that I can use to upload anything with.

And my own computer is still without an OS so can't use that one either.

Hopefully I'll be able to upload some stuff during March, though.

Hasbro has given Ditsy Doo a new and improved voice, they fixed her eye animation and the best part of all Rainbow Dash doesn't call her derpy anymore!

I feel not only that Hasbro has brought back a character I loved but also the removal of Rainbow Dash saying the wrong name has VASTLY improved my love for her as well. Simply put, I don't hate Rainbow Dash anymore!

But more importantly Hasbro has taken their product back and regained my respect.

I still have the flu but today I went out to the post office and picked up the computer.

However, my Windows XP disc seems to be too old and just gives me a blue screen when it reaches the pci.sys file, so now I'm sitting here broke, sick, and with a computer as useful as a brick with no hope for the future at all...

This is why I hate computers and haven't wanted to waste money on one for so many years...

I've ordered a computer online that should arrive any day now.

It's a stationary computer Point of View D510 Intel Atom dual core 1,66GHz, 2GB DDR2, and it comes without an operative system installed, which is good because I already have Windows XP Home Edition on disc.

I now hope there won't be any problems.

If I can get it running I'll start digitally remaking the stuff I've uploaded since my old PC died, upload my newest drawings and finish my old unfinished stuff that's been on hold for years!

I have some new stuff to upload, I just haven't had the opportunity to do so yet.

Not having a computer due to economical problems and bad health makes it hard to upload stuff like erotic art because not everyone is okay with that kind of stuff being uploaded from their computers.

Yule Eve is now over and the gifts have been given and recieved.

This year I got a Wii + Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort + Wii Motion Plus pack, an electrically heated blanket for those cold winter nights/days, Terminator Salvation and Mega Piraya on DVD, a bread toaster and some other normal stuff like clothes, candy etc..
It's been the best yule in many years, to be honest, too bad there's been no snow this year, unlike the last couple of years that had snow in October already.
It's not completely over though, me and my friend haven't exchanged gifts yet so there are still some gifts left ungiven.

So a Good Yule to you all, from me and my cat! :3


Oh, and I'll be uploading my holiday-related art as soon as I can...
