One of my best friends, who was my current roomate at the time had come down with Covid, as have I because we live in the same house. He was told he was positive thursday and I went to get tested. Saturday I was told I was positive, and my friend...well..he was taken to the hospital that night due to complications and being slightly unresponsive. Sunday evening at 5 pm my Central US time, I recieved the call from his mother that he had just passed. So I've been spending since then trying to let it sink through. He was a great guy, and I will miss him. And I'm gonna fight my own sickness to the best of my ability, do my damndest to fight it off for him. Thank you, whoever reads this for listening. I Know I do not write journals much, but, I just felt like writing it.

Recently, I heard that a LOT of people are complaining due to Netflix separating the streaming plans and their dvd plans. Me, I say why worry about it? I had been on the 3 dvd out at a time and unlimited streaming plan whcih had ended up raising to over 23 bucks a month. I dropped it to 2 dvd's out and it went back down to 16 a month. Another price increase to 20 a month isn't gonna hurt me, as I can do that. Now, if it ever went to over 25 bucks a month, I'd have a bit more problem and would have to drop my selections down again. Until then, I'm going to keep going on my netflix. What about any of you who are reading this? Are you quitting your plans? Lowering them? Or staying with them?

Just logged into my Xbox live account and on the Inside Xbox thingy, it had a topic called "Walk Like the Animals." It was a news report from MSNBC.com about the pittsburg Furry con, or whichever cont it was, they just called it a furry con. Thought it was neat enough to share if you've not seen it yet. I coudln't find the actual video on the site, but, there is a topic about it, if you search for Furries.

Ok, I have just bought the new Final Fantasy, and have tried elsewhere, but if anyone is interested, I have a code for a PsiCom outfit for the Male Avatar on xbox 360 for trade. I am willing to trade it for a working code for 1600 MS points, or for a working code for Shale from Dragons Age.

So, if any of you would like a character you have, burned into wood, and yes, you would get the wood copy if you wished, then I'm all up for attempting it, if you can bear with me that I'm still learning it as well. What you will need is the pic you wish me to do, or a pic that has the character in the pose youw ant me to do, Cartoonish preferably, Or at least easy to see lines maybe. And also the original artists permission for me to work off their art like that. I dont wanna offend the artist by doing so without askng ya know.

Ok, This might be known to a lot of you out there, but I was watching the Police Academy series after years of not watching them. And while I know people like Michael Winslow, because I've seen him more over the years, I came across a very surprising person in Police Academy 4. One of the Skateboarder guys in the movie was Tony Hawk. He was VERY skinny and looked more like a geek in this movie, but it was a cool surprise to see such a now-famous skater in an old movie like that. Anyone agree?

Ok, I finally went to see the Harry Potter film, and while I wont spoil the movie for those of you who haven't seen it, I will say that i did enjoy the movie, though they did change a little bit in it, they didnt show some things of course, probably to save time, but still, I wish theyd' shown more. And they added a scene in the movie that I belive was not in the book, but still was an excellent scene. Those of you who've seen the movie probably know which one I'm talking about. All in all, not too bad, but could have been a LOT better. I just hope the next movie is a no-expense spared, kick-butt finale as the last book was.

Welp, so far the three day weekend has been good. Though I'm spending my 4th of July indoors, I don't mind at all. Yesterday I went to see Ice Age 3D, and it was pretty good. The glasses worked good, but I dont think anything will ever beat the ones I used in the Disney theme park in California. The movie itself was cool, even had a song on there I'd not heard in years. "Walk the Dinosaur" I think it was called. As for today, the 4th, I'm indoors but spending time talking to my girlfriend online, as it's her birthday. she can't see fireworks as she's in another country..but hey, better to spend it with people you care about, right?

Just a thought I had recently about something I tried when I was younger. I'd gotten a pair of those red and blue 3d glasses you get every now and then with a comic, or through a special promotion. Mine were from that old ABC promotion when they had a few episodes of shows in 3d. To me, the red and blue ones never worked well, only the clearish ones I saw in disneyland ever really worked well for me. Anyways, I remember one day I was fooling around with the red and blue pair I had, and looking at some of my drawings I'd done, lo and behold..they did not turn 3d, but man...the colors..Shiny and cool looking, depending on the colors used. I checked some book covers and posters, they did the same. I was amazed. If you've not tried that yet, I urge ya to try it. If you have, what'd you think?
