For those who care...
Posted 14 years agoI am on a hiatus indefinitely. Recent, events in family and general life has beaten my heart to the point that I simply cannot take it anymore. This is my hiatus notice, please know that I am well and very much still alive. However, the ones who know me as Arturo or Buck or even Azrael, know that they are dead. That is that, I will hopefully see you again at some point in my long life.
But for now, take care all of you, this I say with the last ounce of heart I have left.

A barista rant part 2
Posted 14 years agoWell today, I was working at the bar making drinks. Now it was a moderately busy day, steady would be more appropriate, and near the end of finishing a wave of about ten drinks. I see a business type lady, I'll call her Brandy, walk to the bar and grab a drink. That is all well and good, we have so many people at this Starbucks that it is understandable to just grab a drink and go.
However! This time, Brandy took a sip and came back to me disgruntled.
"This isn't my caramel Frappucino. This is clearly not my drink, how can you be so stupid."
Now normally I don't take BS from customers but this was kind of funny seeing this well dressed, clean cut business woman explode. Now she ranted a bit more about how our customer service sucks, blah blah blah. I just smiled and grinned.
When she finished I kindly ask her, "Did it ever occur to you that the drink you took, wasn't actually yours?"
With impecable timing, my buddy James comes up from behind me and calls out her drink. "Caramel Frappucino ready at the bar!"
"Heres your drink mam, and I think the guy behind you wants his drink remade. Unless you want to taste her spit?" I directed the question to this biker guy, I admittedly was staring at for the better part of his visit in the cafe.
He said, "Sure, the bitch looks clean..."
I kept a cover smile and began remaking the biker's drink while Brandy left quickly with a blush.
What amazes me is how one could confuse a tripple venti soy, sugar free vanilla, upside down, Caramel machiatto, for a Carmel Frappuccino. Are people really that self absorbed?

Species: Hyena (spotted)
Height: 10' 7"
Fur coloration: Dark purple base with a lighter purple blue belly and inner thigh area. Black to very dark gray spots (mostly localized on his back) his mane is black with purple tips.
Eye color: Neon purple/magenta
Physical description: A very masculine looking male. Chiseled body and thin with well defined muscles, an athletic build. Spiky and messy mane that runs down to his shoulders. His fur is short and relatively well kept. He is usually cloaked in either tendrils of shadows that lace his body and appear to hold him back, trying to pull him back into the shadows. An alternative is large gauge chain wrapped around his chest, much like a leather harness, whose ends are either being dragged or float much like some sort of tentacle.
Possible posses and added things real life references:
Chain harnesses (based off of leather chest bondage harnesses but replaced with chains.)
