I really want to help my friend and her daughter out, she is having a rough time and she is going to be in a few hundred dollars in debt so I set up donations for her. Any amount help and ill be giving it to her. I'am trying to do what I can for her and offered to make food for her in the mean time.

I just wanted to say thank for all the kind words and for any donations you guys sent. The kitties are doing much better now but the little one is getting used to being spoiled since I was taking extra care of him. heh. He has a check up on Monday and will get his stitches out. Financially were getting by and we really made it through the last week from what you guys donated. Thanks again

Posted 8 years agoI wish this was a good news update but it isn't...I don't really ever write stuff like this, like ever, but I am a complete mess right. I havent cried this much in a long time and I'm willing to take donations right now.
So the long story short...both my cats are sick. My youngest cat is like really unstable sick. Me and Jod are spending all our paycheck on vet bills now.

Long story... We rushed the baby to the vet right after one thing after another bad happened. Just having the worst most terrible time and I feel so guilty about it. He has been kind of tired for a few days and had not really moved from the same spot and we became aware that he was not really doing anything other then sleeping. Not eating, drinking, or using the potty.
Late last night he jumped on me then jumped down then meowed weirdly. I looked down and I think he had an accident or spitup something..there was a wet spot on the floor. He had his head tucked under the couch and I never seen him do that so I picked him up and he seemed like he just woke up and was limpish.
So then skip today we kinda were relizing something was really wrong and we relized we wasn't eating so Jod brought him to the food bowl, he usually chows down. He didnt eat dry food so I put wet food down and he only had like a literal bite. I was sitting on the couch and he walked in the living room on a sat on this modular cat furniture thing I got him, it's about a foot off the ground. Anyways he sat there and did the weird meowing again and just plop, he went totally limp and fell face first in the carpet and just laid there and didn't move. I was freaking out and picked him up, he looked really out of it but was awake. I also noticed he had urinated and deficated when this happend. Ran him to the tub to bath it off plus he usally gets regular flea baths. He just layed in the tub, so tiredly, he usually at least stands. I knew then I has calling the vet today.
After I dried him and I was brushing him on my bed he did the weird meow and I was really looking him this time. He just looked like he passed out for a second. So this is the part I am super guilty of and I am a horrible, terrible, no good person...I made matters worst. This is something I routinely do and I am a big fuck up and I hate myself..I cut him with a pair of scissors. I usually trim his fur mats under his arms and I got him good. Like the thing is with it too is he was so out of it, I had no warning that I had even hurt him. No crying or flinching, he just wanted to lick the wet from the bath off like nothing happened.Thus freaks me out and I call the vet and they pencil me in for within the next half hour.
We get to the vet and we talk and do the visit...we find out the bad stuff. She says that he is increadibly anemic and has a prominent heart murmer. The fleas didn't help either. I think she said normal RBC was 25-45% and he was only about 13% He may have been having seizures or fainting spells from the anemia. He also needed stiching for the cut but since he is already so sick that he is unstable for regular anestetic and couldn't do it til later. They are keeping him overnight. We got all the blood work draw in case and I hope nothing bad comes back...Tomorrow we can see if we can pick him up and also made an appointment for our other cat because he is acting more clingy then usaual. He has been panting which the vet said that he may be affected in the same way, we are aware of him having history of heart murmer before, I hope it didnt get worse. He has been normal with eating and such though.
Needless to say we are footing a hefty vet bill now so we can take care of my poor babies instead of utilities, food, and stuff for ourselves this month. Any donations would be appreciated. Thank you for even reading this. Even if you don't have something to donate I could really hear some encouraging words or like something funny right about now....
update!: vet called and said we could get him tonight as he responded well and stitched him too. Brought him home and he is really weak and tired still but he ate some of the prescribed food and some water. Made him a kitty crib from my computer chair and blankets so can spend the night with him. Vet called again around 11pm to check in and do some follow up. Hoping he will get better.

Posted 8 years agoSummer con season is finally over! I have that round of business over and ill be able to focus on online and take home stuff for a little while. I will mostly likely be doing a bunch of convention art posts and also some merch to sell post as it coming into Halloween season now. My next con is Furpocalypse and I will be open now for preorders and customs!

Posted 8 years agoIm offering to do some free badges for furs going to furxoticon, furrydelphia, and furaffinity united. I will be dealing at them (not confirmed for FAU yet but i usually do) and need to make examples for my table for some badge types ive been meaning to experiment with. Since the badges will be displayed you can only pick them up on the last day of whichever convention you'd be attending near the end of the room closing preferable. I'm looking to do digital, traditional painted, traditional pencil, and chibi style badges so there will quite a few. So just leave a comment or pm me somewhere if your applicable and want one. I will be choosing a few for each con.

So like if anyone wants new character of either a florvien or a voodoo gator ill draw one up or color and decorate the linearts i have.

We have a bunch of clothes we don't fit in anymore either so i have a bunch of clothes that have been sitting around too.
