Work is continuing to go well, but there aren't enough submissions to really create a submission section with.

I'm not going to be an ass about this, since it really is all charity based. I just wanted add extra incentive.

With dozens of extra pages though, I'm sure that's incentive enough.

The due date is still May 1st, that's not going to change. I don't have time to wait for people at this point. This is the last reminder.

Just posting a general update.

I'm set to have a table at AC this year with  technicolorpie this is v. exciting! I even got a big dose of good luck so it looks like I'll have most of the funding for the trip coming my way soon.

I'm going to attempt to hang out with  paranoidfurfagoid at Staple in Austin but that's not so guaranteed.

I've also updated the Partners submission requirments, the due date is MARCH 18th. The book itself will be out in spring. Even if it's delayed again, I want to get this stuff out of the way so I can put everything together for AC. It's hard to pinpoint a specific date when I have to jump between comics, the website, and school.

Okay here is a more comprehensive announcement in case you ignored page 40 (which you probably did because it's almost nothing)

Partners is going to be made into a book, which is slated for August. If something goes wrong it should be out by September at the latest. I'm going back to school so I won't really have time to mess around. I'm pushing really hard to have the online version DONE before AC, so I can spend all of July just working on the book and being a hermit.

The book is going to have several bonuses in it namely about 20 additional pages that won't be available online. I'm completely tossing the beginning because I made it when I didn't know what I was doing, and the pacing is all fucked up. Also it's all in the wrong format. Some pages will also be improved for consistency.

Methods of Death is going to be in it, of course. There is going to be an extras section with character bios. All that fun stuff.

I'm doing a CALL OUT FOR GUEST ART AND COMICS

I'm perpetually poor so I can't really pay out financially but everyone who participates will get something from me. Probably a free book and some promo stickers (I am making stickers)

Submissions must be 300dpi and black and white (obviously) and partners themed (duh). Can be illustration or up to 3 page comic. Dimensions preferrably 11 x 17, comics standard. Or at least those dimensions if you can't scan something that size. Just give it to me and I can edit it in.

If I get a lot of submissions I can't promise they'll all be in there.

Obviously you'll get credit and referred to a site of your choice. I've never really done the GUEST ART thing before but I've never really made a book before so if anyone is good at handling this sort of thing feel free to give me advice.

So recently people have been posting old art and I have an extra good reason to jump on this bandwagon.

You see a few weeks back my mom was cleaning out the basement and she found a box of sketchbooks dating from late '98 to '03, just before I went to college.

Now you see all the characters I have now have been around since I was 13, but they didn't start becoming INTERESTING individuals until a few years ago. I hesitate to call them the same characters because aside from their names they don't look, act, or behave the same way as they do now.

But... Even 11 years ago there is still a little *spark*, and while many characters have come and gone these ones still stick by.

Fuckin assholes.

I'll be posting the old art in a big CHUNK in my scraps to save everyone the gallery space. So keep on the look out.

So after hours of tinkering and smacking my head into walls I got my scanner up and working.

I had to install the driver by going to compatibility -> windows xp then I had to make sure the scanner wasn't plugged in. THEN I restarted my computer for the umpteenth time and windows 7 finally took care of the rest.

Partners 34 is still going to be delayed though. I'm under some stress I don't really want to discuss here so it's hindered my drawing ability a bit. I didn't like how this page came out at all. I would rather re-do it now then re-do it later so I'm putting it off until I feel better.

I installed windows 7 and now my scanner won't install.

Partners comics are 11 x 17 HUGE so I can't exactly use a regular scanner while doing this.

Kinda pissed right now.

Sketch- 5 dollars digital. 10 dollars traditional. Traditional sketch is on bristol board and sprayed with fixative to keep from smearing. Please include 5 dollars if you would like it shipped. If you purchase multiple sketches, S&H only applies once.- (Example)

Ink Fullbody15 dollars, traditional. This was offered previously at a lower price, but now that I've gotten used to the medium the price has been raised. Now includes more inkwash.

Commission is "Black Magic" ink on bristol board. If you would like it shipped please include 5 dollars for S&H.

Speed Paint 20 dollars. I spend no more than two hours working on your illustration. Can include up to two characters. Please add Five Dollars for additional characters. Digital only, created in Open Canvas. Owner gets the high res version.

Full Illustration- Full illustrations go up to 30 dollars for standard. After this point I charge by the hour. If you would like a full illustration by me, than please note me for a quote. If you would like something at a specified amount, I am willing to work with you. - (Example 1 and Example 2

Comics- Comics are all done traditionally on standard comic board. If you have an idea and want it rendered by me than please contact me for a quote. Comic pages range from THIRTY for the most basic and up to ONE HUNDRED for a full color page. These are roughly the industry rates. These rates are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. If you intend to use your comic for commercial purposes the rates will increase. In short, if I find one of the comics I did for a commissioner in a 'zine without permission, I'll be pissed. Yes, even if I'm credited.

Other Rules

1. I am willing to do suggestive commissions but I am not comfortable doing anything pornographic. There are plenty of other people out there to ask for that. Tasteful nudity is A OK.

2. Using my characters in a commission is at my own discretion.

3. I require half payment up front in all commissions over 30 dollars if you suddenly dislike what I'm doing so much that you get frustrated and bail, I keep the money you gave up front. If I haven't started anything and I'm taking too long, you get your money back.

4. I require cash TO START. This means no I am not going to do a draft first to prove my worth to you, screw off. This rule applies mostly to comics and full illustrations.

5. Commissions should take no more than 3 months unless otherwise specified. If it's taking longer than that, please tap me. Expect longer waits for the larger commissions.
