Sorry for being so inactive as of late. Life has just been busy and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to submit more regularly come summer time. But otherwise I'm going to very, very busy working on stupid college bullshit and such. (Yeah, still.)

Well, I'm not exactly back yet, but I'm hoping I can get a new charger for my laptop by the time winter break comes so I can post some stuff. Right now I'm using the shared computer and I don't have any art programs on here at all :/ so no arts until I can get some money for that. *headdesks*

I've had to disappear for a bit putting together college applications, art portfolios, and deal with school in general.

I'll be honest though, applying to colleges/school/ crap in general keeps me busy on weekdays, only allowing me to work on weekends. So do expect some delays.

oh yeah, I'm gonna disappear now as I started school on Monday along with like 90% percent of the people on here from what I saw. Did anyone else have those journals littering their inboxes?

I got like the slackest schedule EVER. I mean, I did choose to make it a bit easier since I didn't need any more math or science classes... but the school messed it up and made it even more slack by giving me "Office Aid" instead of Spanish.

I basically sit in the office running errands for the administrators. It's hilarious ; u ;

My schedule basically just has two academic classes...

1- Macroeconomics/ Honors Government
2- Office Aid
3- Art
4- Art
5- Art
6- English Literature

It still kinda freaks me out to see how lazy it looks, oh god, what are the colleges going to say when they see my transcripts?

I guess I should try and fix this v_v;

Guys, I'm not a furry o-o

I thought it was kind of obvious by the way I suck at drawing anthro stuff and mostly draw halfling creatures/ human related stuff, but I still think I was confusing people so I just thought I'd make it clear now.

The only reason I really brought it up is because I feel like people expect me to use the lingo and to refer to myself as "Kuki" (my "fursona"/mascot girl). To be honest, when I joined this site I had NO IDEA what a furry was. I thought "furries" was a term used for people who liked anthro art, I didn't realize there was a lifestyle behind it. When I created Kuki I didn't really understand the context that she would carry. I'm serious, that's how clueless I am. I'm really sorry.

This doesn't mean I hate furry people, or furry art, or furry lingo, or furry anything really. I just really felt like I should clarify this to prevent disappointment in the future when people expect me to know all this stuff when I don't.

I could care less if you "pushed the fandom on me" as some people's pages say. Just don't expect me to know what's going on. The only thing I'd like to ask of everyone is to please refer to me as "weird" and not "kuki", I'm not her, she's not me, yadda yadda.

I seriously apologize if I mislead anyone, I had no clue what I was doing and I never meant to mislead you. Please forgive me?

In a fully body commission from me in my normal style, I'm gonna open $8 colored sketch commissions but only for a limited time.

Yup yup, I'm offering little chibi commissions for just one dollar.

I'm trying to save up for a birthday present for a friend (and myself >3> ), but the thing is in order to do that I would need to do AT LEAST, 70 of these one buck commissions. And well since the little summer job I applied for didn't exactly work out so well I hope people would buy some cause I know that if I get her this present she'll flip. >w<

While on my desktop the other day, I realized that if the contrast is too high on your monitor my art looks more horrible than usual.

So please, for the sake of my art and that of others, make sure your monitor settings are right.

It ends this Wednesday, but that's still too far away ono.

Any who, I was thinking of maybe doing commissions this summer, meaning I won't make free arts anymore, 'cept for some gifts and stuff.

Meh, I'm still figuring it out though. For now all I wanna know is if anyone would be interested in any.

So I'm gonna upload some traditional doodles of my Laterius character, Alice I did with Prismacolor markers.

To clarify for my newer watchers or for those who simply were not aware, Alice is one of the three characters (in addition to Isabelle and Cynthia) I've made for the Laterius Creation Contest.  story-teller-hakiri, creator of the Laterius species, is holding this contest for a grand prize of $200 USD worth in visa gift cards and a comic.

The Laterius species is a lot more than simple kemonomimi's (if that's what you guys call them around here). Aside from the common features, they actually have special attributes and characteristics that some species of animal don't have (to my knowledge at least).

I just thought you guys should know what the hell I'm drawing and should also know about a kick ass contest that's going all at the same time. :/

I hope all of you have been at least a little enlightened and somewhat encouraged to come join me in the contest.
