After quitting McDonald's back in November and moving to Idaho to be with Lava Dog, a lot has happened. We got an apartment, I finished High School, and as of today I got my first interview for a job since I quit and was hired! This year has started out pretty rough for me and my family so far, but it can only get better if you allow it to. I know sometimes I come off as mean or grumpy, but I'm really bottling up some personal issues that are driving me crazy on the inside. I guess things will get better now for my relationship now that I have a job. Only problem with the whole thing is that I will start work every day when Lava gets home, and by the time I get off he will be in bed because he has to get up early in the morning for work. So... right now that is my main concern, but in time we will get things worked out and I will try for an afternoon position. Got to meet them half way for now, so I'll take whatever hours they give me for now! Another thing concerning me is all my belongings back home in Pennsylvania (clothes, computer, etc.) is not in a good situation right now. My parents are contemplating throwing it away and/or selling them. So I ended up calling and threatening them with the law, because that really is illegal. I even asked me Criminal Justice teacher this.

Money will be flowing into my savings once again and I can now help out with the bills. I feel less of a mooch now and it's making me feel really good. Just glad that I'm still sane... at least I think I am.

So, about a week or so ago I opened for 5 slots to make animations for people. I've been working on a new type of animation since then so I will open up again soon so people can get some more freebies!

Last night sucked pretty bad. Barely slept at all! It felt like I was asleep and dreaming, but the next thing I know I'm looking up at the ceiling or wall realizing that I wasn't actually asleep, but in a deep thought or something. Lava left for work at 6AM and I just got up then, too. Was going to try and fall asleep on the couch but all the neighbors in the complex decided that it was a good time to blast some loud rap music. So, while attempting to make up for last night, there were loud thuds all through the walls. Yay for music that's incredibly freaking loud at 7AM! Ughhhh...

An entire year being together with my mate, Lava! I couldn't be happier! In an entire year of being together, so much has happened. Even though there were times where I didn't think we'd make it, we surely pulled through. We went through so much together and learned so much along the way. We both moved out of our homes and got an apartment together and both have accomplished things we never would have imagined in this short year. It's amazing what a person is willing to do for the one they are in love with. I look back and see, not only the pointless fighting, but the good times that make me smile and agree with myself on how I would definitely do all of that again in a heartbeat!

An entire year, and more to come! You've pulled me out of the bad times and been there for me when everything went horrible and turned upside down when I've lost close relatives in these few months. There are some things that words cannot describe, and this has to be one of them.

I love you, Lava. You are everything to me in this world. I'm yours for as long as you'll have me.

My new male character needs a name. I have some ideas up in the air at the moment, but would like some input from others on what a good name for him could be. After the name is decided, it's easier for me to create a story-line and find out where he fits in with Asylum's story line.

Decided to go with the name I've been wanting to use for a character ever since I adopted him. His name is now, Cypress. Odd thing about this is recently there has been a character or two with this name, even though beforehand I did my research and no one else had it. Hm.

1. Have you ever howled at the moon? Yes, actually. Growing up in the country, I had a lot of ideas and a huge imagination when playing with my siblings. We always pretended to be some sort of animal and usually I was the "big bad wolf" or something along those lines, haha.

2. Have you ever barked at someone? Again, when I was little and was playing around, yes. Never towards someone at this age.

3. Have you ever found yourself drawing or scribbling furry art when you're supposed to be doing something else? Eh, I've tried numerous times, but I'm not an artist. I still try every now and then, though.

4. Have you ever worn an animal costume or tail as a child and pretended to be an animal? When I was little we had a few dogs and I use to take their leashes and clip them to the back of my shorts/pants. So, yeah, that was technically my tail. Nowadays I actually have an actual German Shepherd looking tail.

5. Have you ever eaten out of a dog bowl? Yeah, for fun when I was little but it wasn't actually dog food - it was cocoa puffs. lol

6. Have you been to at least one furry con? Nope! So far the closest thing to a Furry convention I've gotten to was Otakon. There was our own little Furmeet there.

8. Do you RP or play second life as a furry character? Yeah, but I don't play Second Life anymore because my computer is back at my old home in PA and it will be quite sometime before I'm able to get it back so I can play again.

Yet another year coming and going for Anthrocon and I still haven't gone for my first time yet. I really hope to go next year, even though I say this every year. Money is just tight for Lava and I right now and we can't seem to really do much until we get a little more settled in and build our savings some more.

Anthrocon 2012 looks more promising. At least, if we do go then, we'll enjoy some time before the world ends! Dun dun dunnn!

If accounts such as  willsmith are being banned because of "impersonating" then wouldn't all the people who's Fursona's are famous and well-known cartoon characters count, too? They're not ours to claim and make costumes of, which is why a lot of the fursuit makers won't make them. So wouldn't that be the same? Pretending to be someone else's creation? There are people who are Balto, Scooby Doo, Poke'mon and so much more.

I'm getting so sick and tired of living here. I have no friends, no one to talk to, no job, no car, and absolutely nothing to do. I can't take constantly being alone. I'm so use to having someone to talk to that this is beginning to get the best of me. My depression is sinking in more and more each and every day because of this. It seems that no one has the time to ever talk to me.

It was exactly one year ago, April 2010, when my depression hit hard and I was stuck that way for over three months. Now what? A year later and it comes back at the same time only lasting longer and to a higher extent. I can't take this way of life anymore. I try all the time to get out there and meet people, or to get in touch with friends, but no one has the time for me anymore...

Just, fuck it. -_-;

Not much has changed from the last couple of updates posted in various journals. I'm graduating from high school in two days and can't wait to finally be done with that. My last official day of school is May 25th, and my graduation ceremony is the 26th. Once done with school I can get a full-time job and get money to build my savings and pay back certain artists that I owe still. Also, with my fingers crossed, I do plan on getting a fursuit commissioned and started in July, if not then sometime in late fall to be completed before next summer. No vacation this year, or next year from the looks of it, but I do want to go to Anthrocon for my first time with my suit if I happen to get it, but we'll have to wait and see until then.

Side note, I've been tweaking around a line art reference sheet and making my own so that everyone can see what I want Asylum to look like. No one has successfully been able to make her look the way I wanted, but hopefully this will help for future references. Don't need a fursuit maker to mess up - that would be horrible.

When talking about specific things with another Furry, yes.

They can think what they want, but as soon as they call me a bad person or someone who has sex with animals because they chose to believe in those false stereotypes, then I'll inform them a little more about the truth.

As of last Friday, Lava and I finally got to move out of his parents place, sad I know, and move into an apartment of our own! Yay! We're doing alright, things are paid off and going smoothly - hope they stay that way.
I was going absolutely insane with his family breathing down my neck every other second, but I can relax and let loose a little more now than before. Woots!

I'm getting a fursuit, for real this time, and made by one of these, perhaps -  furgenstudios /  onefurall /  mixedcandy - when they open up sometime for commissions. I have the time to get money after getting a job at the end of this month, seeing how I graduate this month and can have all the free time to work!

I turned 19 April 8th this year. Remember when I said in previous journals that my Aunt passed away after Christmas and my Grandmother passed away after Valentines day? Well, my Grandfather died on my Birthday at 8:00 PM.

All in all, it wasn't a bad Birthday. We went out to dinner and it was pretty good, only there is when I got the text from my Mom, back in PA, saying my Grandfather passed moments before...

I'm telling you, this year is starting out pretty bad for me in terms of my family and their health. Now all of a sudden, last night, Lava got a call from his sister saying his Uncle isn't going to make it much longer.

Is it normal for a person to have an entire external hard drive on their computer filled with an enormous amount of porn? I don't think so. I think it's sick and disgusting. Talk about being a pig. There's over 30,000+ pictures on it.

Also, when your boyfriend has friends who are all complete and total sluts. Something else that gets annoying to me all the time.

Just some random things that've caused me to get a little upset over the past few weeks, and it escalated at the end of last week. Basically, I've been off Facebook and FurAffinity ever since then. Hardly been on to do much of anything other than checking notes and comments. Haven't looked at submissions in forever and I'm already getting over 6,000 to look at when I finally start getting back into the swing of things.

I'm fine, so you don't need to comment/note me about what's wrong to talk. Just posting this to inform everyone, of anyone cares I guess, is to why I've been inactive on here for a while.

A while back I use to role play on Myspace with hundreds of others. Not anthro role play, but feral wolves and other real animals. I was looking around and found some websites where people can role play, but the websites are very confusing. They're all used with something called Proboards, or something. I never could understand how to use forums or messaging boards, so I was wondering if someone would like to explain a few things about it to me. Also, if anyone knows of a different type of role playing website that doesn't use a forum, please let me know! I want to get back into role playing again.

I'm tired of getting on and seeing that some people are down right rude like that. I mean, come on! Alright, so I graduate June 1st now instead of May 26th like I thought. My new school is pretty cool, though. I mean, my first class isn't too full, so I can loosen up and not be completely shy. I have issues with big crowds - especially when it comes to speaking out loud in front of the class! But, it's really not all that hard.

Our mascot there is the ocelot! The CUTEST mascot I've ever had! I mean, compared to "The Rockets" or "Cedars". I hated my past two mascots because they didn't seem cool or fierce at all. But the ocelot is awesome! Finally an animal, and a cute one nonetheless!

So, the next three weeks will be History class. The next three weeks... not sure. They didn't get me a schedule for it yet. Might go in the office tomorrow and ask for it, haha.
