Posted 15 years agoIf I were to start writing my storyline for my characters, would anyone be interested in reading them? I'm going to be writing them anyway, but wasn't sure if I was going to upload any of it. I guess I would if everyone was interested in it.
The new banner and new FA template!
Posted 15 years agoI think the new banner is different and cool looking. A lot of people are complaining about it, but I think it's alright. Something new to look at, anyway. I think they should change it every week or two to keep it interesting, though.
I can't wait until the new template for the website comes into play. It looks really cool and a whole lot better than what we've got now. They've been talking about using this template for a long time now, so can't hold our breaths until they start to use it. If you haven't seen the new FA template yet, click here for it!

Update on how things are going for me...

- Family -
Shortly after Christmas, my Aunt died of cancer in her pancreas and a few other places that were later discovered. I haven't gotten the chance to see her before she died, actually, haven't seen her in a few years. Once my parents divorced... things changed like that, heh.
My Grandmother, my moms mom, is now in the hospital for cancer, as well. She was suppose to go a while back, but now the doctors are seeing her as getting a little better. Better enough to see a few more years - which is good!
My Grandfather, my step dads dad, has suffered a stroke and is now in the hospital. He went into brain surgery a few days ago and they said it would be a slim chance for him to fully recover or even survive from it, but shockingly he made it and fully recovered from it. Only thing wrong is that they discovered he has lung cancer and now has a limited time with us...
Other than my family's health, things are getting better between my mom and I. She was mad about my sudden moving to Idaho, but she's there for me now and we're talking more. She helps me when I get upset about things, and I thank her greatly for everything.

Asylum would love that! She's very social and loves to meet others! Especially when those others turn out to be more German Shepherds!

In her world, as in her storyline that I'm still working on, she's considered normal, yes. But at the same time, she's different from most of the others.
3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
The tribal-looking markings that are on her back and eyes.

Still don't know what this means... Asylum attractive? I'd hope so. She's everything I wish I could be!
Personality
1) Temper?
Don't cross her path when she's mad. Just, don't. Other than that, she's pretty easy-going.
2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Not really, but sometimes she'll get sad, but it's not long-term like depression.
3) Leader or Follower?
Both, she fills in the space when needed, but when someone else who can do better wants the leadership position, she'll allow it.
4) What is the main aspect(s) of his/her personality?
Optimistic, realistic, sarcastic, outgoing, fun, loving, and caring. So much more, but she'd prefer others get to find out for themselves.
History
1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Asylum use to have a father she grew up with, but her mother she never knew. Her father passed away when she'd fully grown. How he died hasn't been figured out yet.
2) Is your character out on his/her own?
For the most part, Asylum is alone. She's had friends and mates, but many have proven not worthy of her companionship. She has a hard time trusting new people now.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Not yet, but that's the twist in her storyline!
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
All of her experiences with people, though they did not end well, all gave her strength for the future.

Yes, Lava Dog being the first romantic one. She had a hard time getting comfortable with her past relationships.

Yes, she is a huge flirt, but in a fun and sarcastic manner.

Posted 15 years agoI could never find any Furries around where I use to live in PA, but now that I live in Idaho there's Furries all over the area that I live! What the heck!
Also, I wanted snow so bad over in PA. When I come to Idaho, the snow melted before I got here. Haven't got any since I've been here. Now, they're loaded with snow over in PA.

Question and venting...
Posted 15 years agoIs there anyone out there who is accepting commissions for reference sheets? I need only need a front and back view. Perhaps a close-up of the head, too. I need one for people I commission. It'll make a bit more sense when they try and draw me something. Also, when I get a suit I need one. So let me know, please? Either if it's you or someone else you know. Post links, etc.
Time for venting. Does anyone else get annoyed when others take your ideas and copy them? I mean, no one can be original these days, can they? I've reached my fill with most people these days. It's getting old and annoying to see the same old things on here. Real mature guys, real mature.

Asylum Fang - character information and details!
Posted 15 years agoIt's frustrating when my character is drawn wrong, especially when I have given details and have many pictures to look off of. So, I'm going to make yet another guide to help out some more. Hopefully this will get some of the obvious points across.

I am sorry that this makes my character look like a male, but she is a FEMALE! If people were to read what I gave them, they would realize that I don't have the kind of money to get a real one drawn up because artists are asking for $45+
= Physical Build (Anthro) =
- FEMALE
- German Shepherd
- Stands at 5ft 5in
- Average weight and build
- Small/Normal sized breasts
- FOUR fingers PLUS a thumb = FIVE total
- FOUR toes
- Semi fluffy fur all over body, not a tight sleek look (Varies with art styles, but I'm talking about the detailed furred ones)
- No human-like hair on top of the head, but light fluff, NOT BANGS or anything too big
- Tail goes down passed knees, half way between knees and ankles

- The secondary base color, which covers the muzzle, arms, feet, etc. is a darker brown (78, 70, 51)
- The underbelly's color is a light tan which wraps around the eyes, goes down the belly, covers the finger tips, inside of the ears, under the tail, etc. (237, 226, 204)
- The chin has it's own SEPARATE SHADE OF BROWN from all the others that are listed above (142, 106, 63)
- The eyes are a golden-yellow (225, 218, 2)

- The back's design
__ - The top part of the design is on the BACK OF THE HEAD
__ - The middle part of the design is on the BACK OF THE NECK
__ - The bottom part of the back's design, which is the largest part of the darker brown, is on the BACK and stops at the BASE OF THE TAIL
- The tail's design
__ - The arrow is directly on the TOP OF THE BASE OF THE TAIL, NOT HIGHER and NOT LOWER
__ - The line that goes through the arrow and upward on the back goes MORE THAN HALFWAY up the back, but not ALL THE WAY and then it goes downward on the tail and that also goes MORE THAN HALFWAY, but not COMPLETELY
- The front's design
__- The underbelly does NOT go THROUGH the breasts, it goes around them and covers them completely with the tan color and continues to go down until it reaches the knees
__- Tan goes up the neck, around the BOTTOM OF THE EYES ONLY, not straight across the eyes like a mask, and swerves on the cheeks
- The feet design
__- Tan colored toes, both feet
__- Darker brown starts where the toes stop and goes on until the ankle stops at the top, both legs

Change of plan...
Posted 15 years agoSo, I spent my Christmas break here in Idaho with Lava Dog. I had no intentions of moving in while being here. I was going to go back to Pennsylvania and continue school, then when graduated I was going to move here with him. However, the idea and possibility of moving was always in the back of my mind ever since we started dating. So, after a few strings being pulled, I'm getting transferred from my high school in PA and moving in with Lava and finishing school here.
All last minute and unexpected, even to me, but it happened. Now I can be with him and actually be happy on that part. New state, town, people, family, and completely new life is starting - but that's not always a bad thing. I see this as turning over a new leaf.

I was in a relationship for Valentine's Day, but due to his family and them not liking me, we didn't get to spend the day together like we had hoped to. We both never had anyone on Valentine's Day before. :(
3) Were you in school anytime this year?
Yeah, 2009 - 2010 was my Junior year in high school.
4) How did you earn your money?
I started working minimum wage during the summer break in 2009.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Nope.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Um, in that year, I don't remember. But we have had some personal family issues that did involve the police, yes.
7) Would you relive 2010 over and over again?
Not really, because now is going much better than then.
8) What did you purchase that was over $1000?
I never bought anything that was that much money. The most expensive thing I bought had to have been an iPod Nano.

Nope.

Nope, not yet.

Posted 15 years agoGoing to see Lava on Wednesday. Leaving at 3am for the airport that morning for the departure at 6am. Grandmother is on her deathbed and my aunt is getting pretty close herself. Oh, boy. That's another tough one to answer. Well, considering the things that's happened in the past, and now, they both affect my thoughts.
- Mainly my mate in any case scenario. What he's doing, thinking, etc.
- School. How I'm doing, getting up in the morning, getting to bed on time, grades, etc.
- Working. Currently unemployed and looking for a new job, the pay, people who work with me who get annoying.
- Family. I don't see any of them anymore and worry/think about them from time to time.
- Friends. Those few who are close to me, and the ones I've lost.
- If people are lying or being honest with me or not. I always feel like I'm being lied to, or cheated on...

Day #3
Eight ways to win my heart? Well, that's a tough one for me to answer. There isn't necessarily any real way to "win my heart." Each person I've loved were completely different. Each had their own reason for beginning, and ending. After each one it made it harder and harder for me to open up and let people in. Reason for my relationships to fail, really. My trust is really hard to gain. So, here's a few basics to list.
- Trust and honesty.
- Has to have common sense.
- Lots and lots of attention.
- Supportive with my decisions, but not afraid to tell me when I'm wrong.
- Can handle my hyperactivity, or can match it.
- Show me you love me, make me feel like I'm loved and thought about - I don't want to be tossed aside.
- Don't show off, brag, etc. Or at least, not too much.
- Good humor. I love people who make me laugh.
