A few days ago (April 30) was my hatchday/buttday/birthday, and it was kinda like last year, save that it wasn't a British Invasion theme (Beatles and Austin Powers), this was a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, without the glove. A couple of the gifts included a fedora and Michael Jackson's This is It 2-Disc album, and the satisfaction that I get to wear a hat that really looks good on me.

Finally after an artistic block, several whiny hissy fits, and ten rants later, I finally came up with a Profile ID for my Sharky Side. I love it and want to kiss that cutie on the muzzle.

I may end up making one for my Dragon side when I tend to be in a Draconic mood. Hopefully, I'd find some good backgrounds for both a Dragon Hybrid and Shark Royalty. It felt good to have something fun for a profile ID, though it is still technically a work in progress. HURRAH!

I am fresh out of ideas, and I have nothing that looks good... I even tried coloring my favorite line-art (and featured submission) to no success...

Discovered Hazelnut Coffee in my mocha this morning, and it felt great, and added a nutty kick to my wake-me-up today.

Now that I am back in a decent balance... where's my normal everyday chaos?! o0 I need something to be entertained... Dance, monkey, dance! LOL!

I've been a bit jumbled recently, that, and not having a real source of caffeine since last weekend until now (I had only Decaf Earl Grey Tea all week. :C ) And I've been feeling really jumbled when it comes to my drawings, to which I contribute to the dwindling pages in my sketchbook. And because of the damn market and this sharkie not being able to find a job to replenish any funds. That, and one of these days, I need to start re-teaching myself how to color using photoshop. If only I had a mouse that would fit on my laptop. But hindsight, right?!

Okay, I was off for a week earlier this month due to my internet being down for almost that long. I have uploaded three of my recent masterpieces to the mix, with one being for my sweets . I had them stuck in my sketchbook until now, and I am glad that they are now up and being shared here on FA.

As a joke for those full body scanners that the government is working on getting in our airports... I was thinking how fun it would be if my character was operating a full-body scanner, and another (likely the artist) gets in the scanner (or vice versa), and the observer gets horny looking at what the potential passenger is packing between his legs. It sounds fun, yet I would have to be drawing since before I hatched to be good enough to probably do that.

This is just a brainstorm... so I am not sure what I should do; if anyone wants to use this idea for other characters, its fine. I just want to get this off my chest.

Today, one of my gifts left me swearing like a sailor, while I built it from the parts. After getting hurt on the back of my faw twice, and swearing like a sailor on shore leave, I got a new computer desk between my art display, and my entertainment center (essentially two minorly modified bookcases in my bedroom). I had to take the castors off because the last one I couldn't get on due to a damn defect, but oh well, at least the desk looks good in its glass and pewter beauty. I also got a nice digital camera to start my photographic pursuits once again.

It was a better Christmas than I had in many years, but I think it was less entertaining due to the lackluster movies on TV and not many good movies in the Redbox. However, a classic holiday movie does calm the nerves, as long as its not one of Disney's latest creative holiday abortions.

Well, enough of this rant, and to prepare for the coming of 2010.

What a rollercoaster ride...

I woke up this morning to see that I had over 500 views, so I submit the line-art that I had scanned last night, then I scanned and uploaded the shading, and without anybody informing me, I forgot to add the gills to the shark prince. Super Eek! I put in the gills and re-scanned it. I upload it, and think I was done... then I noticed an error. I reuploaded it, and now everything is fixed, and I can calm down. *whews!*

I hope 1,000 views will be less exciting than this turned out to be for me. *sharky-blush*

Okay, last year was a white Christmas, despite being snowed in and iced over, and this year, it is more wet, and the snow went to the New England area of the country because of a Nor'easter. Right now, it barely feels like Christmas, save for the Christmas specials on TV, the decorations, and the new artificial tree decorated more extravagantly than the last one. Well, this is Oregon, I lived in this state for as long as I can remember, and I should know to be disappointed more often that the Christmases aren't covered in snowfall.

I may like rain, but when it comes to Christmas, it really bites. Luckily, Christmas is a few days away, and the suspense would end when I open the four gifts I noticed under the tree and in my blue stocking.

However, I got a nice candy cane to keep me company, a nice ho-cho (hot chocolate), and old Christmas movies to keep me company.
