Just to let you know that thanks to a new treatment (Google "Keytruda" for more info), and the VERY EXTREME generosity of an old highschool classmate/friend who sent me a brand new tablet (Wacom Intuos Pro S), I've been feeling much better and in fact energized compared to how I was a few months back. Still waiting for the OK for surgery to remove the tumor and patch me up, but so far being very positive about it.

I'm tired of my current Job as a Customer Care Representative, taking calls for the conglomerate of imbeciles and assholes that is New Jersey. My patience is literally running on fumes, but I can't just quit, since I have no safety net as of speak, and any other jobs available often end up paying less that I'm earning as of right now. Being without a car doesn't help things either.

I really don't want to give up on my art either, but lately is very difficult to motivate yourself to carry on, when your collection of bad life choices still haunt me for who knows how long. Really regret not having a vice like smoking or drinking, since at least that's make me feel less pathetic.

Not to mention that my luck seems to run on the logic of equivalent exchange, that is for something good that happens, something equally bad needs to happen. By that reason, for my life to properly turn around, I may need to get cancer or any sort of terminal disease...

Just posting this here since I want this to stay private as a matter of speak.

I locked my keys inside my car at a mall, spare key just happens to be inside the car as well, police won't assist as long as its an emergency, i dont have road assistance in my insirqnce plabbeen struggling with a coat hanger for almost 2 hours and getting a locksmith will cost me somewhere $100 or more, and I don't have that kind of money at the time being....

...I dunno what to do at this point...

These pasts months have been rather atrocious for me, namely taking too long to deliver on drawings that I can normally complete in a tiny fraction of said time.

I have myself to blame for that.

Anyway, the point of this journal is that I want to get back to good habits, so starting tonight I'll be going back to streaming to regular and manageable hours, with some limits of course in order to prevent myself of getting overwhelmed, and while I will be taking commissions when possible, I also want to work on personal projects, namely "Galaxy Cup" (working title).

I'll elaborate later in those.

In other news, finally some progress on the pending pics. Not as fast as I initially wanted to, but progress still.

Now, by all means I'm not thinking ill of the movie; in fact it could be a successful movie. IF done right.

And by that I mean sticking to their promise of ZERO human influence in the movie and treat the characters as animals with anthropomorphic features instead of humans in animal suits. Yanno, something like http://kevinandkell.com/ has been doing since 1995.

No, I think my concern lies (as usual) in the fandom. In particular the vocal minority that can be obnoxious at best and just plain toxic for both sides at worst. But I won't bore you with the same banter. Instead I want to ask you to remember the following.

This movie isn't "yours". This movie isn't going to be some sort of furry recruitment PSA to shove into people's faces. This, along with similar works, is meant to be for everyone, kids and adults, hardcore fanboys and the casual viewer.

That said, be mindful of how you behave in regards of this movie, ESPECIALLY in theaters. You'd think that'd be common sense, but if there's one thing customer care has taught me is that common sense's deader than disco.

First of all, apologies to everyone who I still owe (paid) artwork; completely aware it's inexcusable for going this long without a proper update of sorts. I haven't forgot any of you and in fact put my other personal stuff in a complete halt until these are resolved accordingly. I could IM personally about it, but here's the other thing…

I'm sure it's not a rare incident, but for me it feels like it: I'm essentially an asocial guy wanting to be social, yet due to his asocial traits being strong on him, comes up as either awkward, being far from eloquent on general subjects, and on the few things he does have a sense of passion comes off as borderline autistic. I'm a 36 year old guy who still struggles with the basics of socializing as if they were alien concepts, having to bottle up feelings since I dunno where to pour them.

Worst of all, I have a helping nature and want to help others at times, but once again don't know how to approach certain situations due to really bad experiences in the past. No to mention, being in a job where it turns out said trait is truly counter-intuitive can be bloody murder for the soul because of it (Just to give you an idea, I officially hate the state of New Jersey as a whole because of said job).

I'm also aware I have both an accent and tend to speak fast (English is my second language, with Spanish being the main), yet it kills me the double standard I deal with of people complaining having trouble understanding me for either reason or both (with the added bonus that if I speak slowly, it sounds like I'm treating them like morons), yet I have to deal with "Americans" who mangle their "native" language so much they make Jar Jar Binks sound Shakespearean (one of MANY reasons I hate New Jersey now). Even in Spanish I have problems, for a different reason: instead of "A + B + C = D", my train of thought goes more along the lines of "A = D because potato divided by zero": Same result, but trying to explain it is a task of sisyphean proportions.

And of course, I'm 36. I'm constantly struggling in between the thoughts of not giving up, as age has nothing to do with your achievements and still have time to do something, and the thoughts of giving up altogether, as people half my age has achieved said achievements and more.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm emotionally drained to the point that i'm running on fumes, yet somehow still have that one ounce that keeps me from snapping altogether, but still not enough to get me off from this sense of stagnation that has been plaguing me for months.

Now, whether you want to see as a call for help or just attention whoring, that's up to you. For me, it felt like just venting frustrations as I write this, as taking advantage of people's instinct to ignore overly long posts (thank you, Twitter...).

For the few that do care, I'm not expecting a magical cure for the situation and definitively the least I need is pity. I guess I just needed to talk, and just tossing this in the air to see where it sticks.

That being said, gotta work on the pending stuff somehow.

Right now I won't go into details, but yeah, having a horrid year so far, and with march 22 looming over it doesn't make things easier for me because it makes me feel like I wasted another year.

Anyway, fully aware of what I still have pending plus what I need to do as well. That said, gonna spend most of the weekend streaming and hopefully undig myself from the financial hole.
