Due to a massive blunder and oversight on my part, I'm pretty deep red on my bank statement and unless I cover it up ASAP, I'm going to be massively covered in overdraft fees.

that being said, I need to collect somewhere between $160 to $200, preferably today, in order to get back in track. And in order to do so, I will be taking commissions, but will need to take payments in advance.

Yeah, I found something that lets me FIND and READ lyrics in the players, but was looking for something or some way to embed the lyrics themselves into the files, so I can look at them in different mp3 players.

Some of you may recall people engaging into these a couple of years back. I tried myself, with mixed results.

Decided to give this a try once more. With a few differences.

Namely, these sketches will be done via Livestream ( http://www.livestream.com/atmanryu ) whenever possible and even offline if the one requesting doesn't object.

Also, gonna be more flexible and allow (almost) anything in terms of requests, including adult stuff. Within reason mind you.

All sketches with be simple pencil lines, unshaded and one character each. If you desire multiple characters or overly complex background or details in a single page, it MAY incur extra charges, but it will still count as a single sketch. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Enough said.

When I learned of this one show a few years back, I was confused; appalled even: “They actually made a show about the toy series!?” I thought to myself, “But it looks so… Stupid!” And stupid it was, seeing that the toys were aimed for a completely difference age and audience, yet some treated it like something that it was meant for them. So yeah, completely weirded out when I found out that there were grown men admitting to like this show, with another bunch hating the hell out of it. As such, I avoided the show like a plague.

Skip to a few days ago, when Netflix decided to recommend me this show to me out of the blue. “Really, Netflix?” I pondered, “You brought this up? And what’s this? Two seasons? Really now?!” Indeed, I was annoyed by the choice, and made me wonder what I DID watch for it to recommend it in the first place, but for the sake of humoring it, I played the first episode. And the one after. And the one after.

In no time I found myself attached to it… And being amused by it! Turns out that despite of the silliness, there is some cleverness hidden underneath it: References that I found amusing, a few funny lines, voice actors which I recognized and rejoiced when I heard them, among other things. So here I was, an adult man enjoying this cartoon…

So here I am, apologizing to this cartoon for ignoring it all this time. Granted, that isn’t enough for me to become a rabid fanboy of it, it does made me appreciate the good bits it has. That’s when I decided voice my opinion of it, for the fairness of those who loved it first.

Long story short, the Brony Thank-You Project’s goal on Indiegogo is to “run an ad on the Hub thanking all those involved in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for making such a great show!”

Ok, where to begin...

Is it wrong to be grateful to the people involved in a show that you love? Not at all. Are there better ways to express such gratitude that doesn't involve buying an Ad spot? Quite possibly, but it's just that there's something that's REALLY bothering me about this project... Other than the fact that there might be better ways to use that money than to practically give it away to a multi-dollar corporation.

Frankly, this whole approach reeks of self-indulgence. I mean, are you telling me anyone who donates to this project think that the people who WORK in this show will be forever touched with a 30-second ad, when there could be far more effective (and lasting) ways to do that, like donating that money to a worthy cause on THEIR name, for example? I'm sorry, but when the higher perks are about having your name plastered in the ads, it feels like people care more about having 30 seconds of fame rather than being rightfully thankful to a show.

But you know what? Fuck it. It's their money, so they can do whatever they like...
