I kinda... just disappeared, haha. I'm back, though on a new username. I'll try to pending issues in the next few days, through my new username,  chororo. And have primarily anthro art this time, too, lol.

I'm pretty sure a number of you guys have started school too, like me, rofl.

How's it treating you?

I already have a load of homework to do... I shouldn't be surprised, given that I'm a senior. I am slowly fleshing out my thesis - if it's approved, I think it will be pretty cool! (Hint: It can go either the route of book publishing, or 2D video game design if things go well/right...)

I know I have one (or two?) more people on my commission list, so once I get this first set of homework out of the way, I'll get started if they're still interested. As well, I'll be opening up my slots again, and will be taking money after I finish since I'm in the school year (during the summer, I take money before hand. During the school year, I take it after.)

erm... Not sure what else to type. Hopefully I'll be able to upload artwork soon enough...

I'm awake late as hell on my last night here in NYC, 'cause it's too humid, I have no fan, and no AC. I'm currently awake only because i'm waiting for my washcloth to finish freezing - that's the way I manage to sleep... (I put it over my face, and I'm instantly out. Kinda goes back to the whole cold=instant hibernation thing.) Tomorrow i'll be going back to Philadelphia, to my wife where he has A/C in his room, so I'll be able to work longer and faster as I churn out both my commissions before I head out to Otakon, and finish my two costumes.

It's really weird, but I've looked back and it's interesting to notice the change/improvement to my art. There's still a bunch to work on, but hell. My style is getting a bit better, I'm actually doing full body images, and at least there's color. I still am not good at full out shading... but i'm hoping i'll figure some things soon enough.

Later this morning, I'll be heading out to Penn Station... I think I feel like wearing my new contacts. xD; Really opaque and gray, but at the same time they look really neat. e.e; I didn't realize they were circle lenses until after I bought them, but oh well - at least they're easier to get out, since I can actually see them. Only issue is that I don't want to fall asleep on the train with them in.. =_= maybe it would be better just to wait until I got back to do so. /rambling

Anyhow - I'll be heading back to Philly tomorrow, to Baltimore at the end of the week, then to Texas at the beginning of next week. Then two weeks of free time! Then... back to school. u.u

I did give in a while ago, and bought a Incredible. It's so wonderful because I travel so much, despite the battery dying in no time when I use internetz. I'm still in nyc four days out of the week now, and I have just a little under a week left to do for my internship at the museum.

I wish there was an app for FA. u.u~

e.e; No vacation, for the first 2/3s... Internship ahoy! I'll be doing one here in Philly at a non-profit artist organization/gallery, and one in NYC at a comic art museum/gallery. So far I started the first earlier this week - tomorrow I head off to the other city for training. <3

On random note, I can't find my bluetooth dongle... and I really don't feel like buying a new one. /lazy & cheap. So, no digital art anytime soon... gives me excuse to do more traditional work and practice before my senior year starts in August.

Gotta practice my watercolors, too. <3 Put use to my lonely sketchbook and watercolor book, I think~.

So, I have to interview a working illustrator, right? Well, I found someone some time ago. Two people, actually. One couldn't do the interview - the other, won't get back to me...

If I don't get it done by next Friday (the 29th) my grade is going to drop soooo much. x.x; At the same time, I don't know who to try and interview instead. I don't know what to do, mew...

Also, I thought about trying something out - The 100 theme challenge, I wanted to do something like that, just with a bit of a twist. What about the idea of $7-10 for full body poses/minor background sketches, with choice of a theme from the list?

Pretty soon, I'll come up with a few examples to show what I mean. From there, just advertising... xD; Maybe a free theme for people who do so for a little while, nyan?

Internship-searching and digital modeling, pretty much. Except I'm not actually modeling characters, just animating blobs. lulz.

I'm steadily posting my stuff, nya. I'd love to paint more - especially stuff along the lines of comic covers~.

I'm quickly writing this journal as I finish a response paper before class, rofl. Anyhow -- I've been trying to get into the hang of updating more often again. I'm not able to do so every day, but I at least attempt to do so every few days if any.

Lately, my current batch has been a small amount of bust portraits I've taken up from the forums - I'm getting faster on them, thankfully. I started out doing them traditionally, but I'm still pretty slow (or too fast and impatient?) on them, causing me to mess up and nearly start over...

Either way, I do think I'll end up making these the new type of commissions for now. Bust b/w for 10, single character? I'll update my user info with it and all.

In my other time, just building up my portfolio with narrative/book illustrations and covers~. >_< My internship is coming up this summer, and I need to secure it, nyan!

I'm in the computer lab right now scanning in a million hand drawn frames for my animation of Ekon. D< Oh god, it's so mind numbing. Anyhow.

Thank goodness for thanksgiving break coming up. Although I'll have to part from my wife, I'll get to go back home to the -real- Ekon, my darling kitten. xD; Woo, and get to go back to the Texas weather, while is not good, is better than what it's been in Philly. Getting to see some people too, hopefulllyyy.

Uh... Doing homework and progressing on commissions, too. I have some ideas on illustrations that I want to do based on past RPs - those types of work take a long time to churn out, but it's one of those categories for when I don't want to work on anything else, I have that.

Anyone else have stuff they want to see/ideas for things to add to that category to draw later, nya?

I'm not dead, as you can see. Just got over my latest hump of projects (an illustration for Rikki Tikki Tavi, caricatures of Seagal, editorial stuff, and now I have a movie poster to paint!) as well as a website I have to build for class.

Anyhow, I don't know if you'll see any updates anytime soon - I'm mainly locked on homework, and two commissions I'm going to crack down on this weekend/week. Unless you guys don't mind seeing my classwork, haha!

This tablet BS is making me want to give it up. xD; Every other week I have an issue with my tablet not wanting to either be pressure sensitive, or not responding, or lagging across the screen and so on. Grah!

I'm allergic to kneaded erasers, currently... Like, when I try to use it, my hands and/or fingers decide to swell completely. In a way, I don't know if I should be surprised - usually when I use a certain art supply often, I'll become allergic to it.

Bleh. Now that the issue is figured out, I'm going back to working on stuff. In a week and a half, I'll be going to spend time with my waifu, and heading to Otakon.

Tablet situation still hasn't been solved, and I have no idea if i'll be able to use it unless I reformat again, which I'll rather avoid.

xD; I have no idea what to do about it. I keep uninstalling and installing the drivers, stopping and starting the tablet pen services -- but I can't seem to revive the pen sensitivity. And before that, Windows 7's stupid little ring animation was causing my pen strokes to be delayed.

So yeah. Almost as if on cue like my past tablets, this one is out for the round -- though at least I may be able to revive this one. Until then, unless I can use it on my desktop when my mom isn't home, I'm stuck doing stuff by hand. (Though perhaps it would be a good thing?)

So far, I have three commissions in progress - I'm having to restart one of them (to do it by hand), while I'm inking one, and on the painting stage of my other one.

xD; Getting together as much cash as I can, so far. At the least, I want a new wig!

Since the vacation slips of the waifu and his brother were put in, It's likely to say that I will be doing so. (I already paid for my flight to Philly as it is, so~!) Who else will be going?

I'm not too sure how things will exactly work out, but I decided to go ahead and try to finish my Shinobu costume after all - may end up wearing it in the end there? However, at the moment, I'm missing means for:

-The jacket

Ahh -- I have some people's work on list that I need to know (T_T Hit me, I know. Honestly, I've been trying to redo and redo them, which is why I've changed them to free requests in the past...) including a pirate crew (I don't know if it's needed anymore, but it's fun to work on), and the kitty sisters/twins.
