So I've learn I'm not very good at advertising myself in certain places. Like here. Every Thursday I do a sketchmission stream, which is the source of all those pics that I mark as sketchmissions. I generally like to reserve them for people watching, but it's not a hard rule at all. It's $50 usd for a 1 hour sketch and $30 usd for a 30 min sketch. I aim to do 4, but I often can only do 3. These are not part of my normal commission queue so it's a way to get simpler stuff done, quicker! Sprite stuff and fursuit drawovers are good too for then. Actually kind of curious, as an artist that survives only on commissions, there's actually a few people that like, favourite every single thing I do, get lots of art for themselves, but have not commissioned me before or like, once a long time ago. Besides not having money and you can't afford it, I wonder what other reasons there are? Like do you not have any ideas, or you think my style doesn't really work with your sona, or have I disappointed you in the past? Anything else? Just doing some marketing research I guess.



Feel free to add something, however I will address the biggest issue that came up:

(as of right now) I am ALWAYS open for commissions. It's my only source of income, so just send me a DM requesting be put in my queue (around a 3 month wait currently). When I'm close to starting your slot, I will poke you for extra details and when I'm finished (or in progress) I will ask for payment. I like that "Quest complete" feeling. Also YCHs and Sketchmissions on my streams are a separate queue, so they are the "cheaper" and "skip the line" options. Also I get excited for doing pixel badges so they skip the line a lot too because they're for cons.

I've officially been Aver for 6 years! I totally would have forgot (thanks Facebook!) I'm still so happy I designed him and became him.  verinn was always just a character and never me, and  woven was a child and I wasn't that person anymore. Thank you to everyone's initial enthusiasm when I switched and thank you for sticking with me and all the new people that have found me since.

If you follow me other places, you probably already heard, but my Mom died today. She had been battling breast then bone cancer for nearly 14 years. I've had a long time to process and accept this, and currently there's a ton of relief because she was in such pain and unable to see, speak or hear for the last week or so. I will be okay. Just need to survive those "remembering Mom" moments for a good long, long while.

Okay, so this month, the goal is to be drawing all of the artwork and getting the calendar done, so that at the start of March, I'll know how many copies I will need to print! That's where you come in. I made a google sheet for preorders and it's pretty low tech and sloppy, but it's there. I will be making a sexy goo fur 18 month calendar and to populate it and pay the bills, I will be crowd funding it! Here's the super loose notes/contract.



- Sexy Goo Fur Calendar - 18 months of SFW-ish pin up poses of goo characters from the fandom, being melty, stretchy, morphy, etc

- Buying a "month" will cost $250 usd and will also include a physical copy of the calendar (shipping cost will be Included for you guys!)

- Calendar will be around $30 usd (plus shipping) hopefully. Depending on what company I use it could be less.

- Aver the Dorbley is selling copies of the calendar to others. Subjects in
the calendar will not be getting any funds from this. (Calendars are

I really, really hate that I have to make this announcement. But it's no longer in my control and "What I think I'm worth" isn't relevant anymore. I just learned some financials were A LOT more dire than I knew - things were not told to me to "not stress me out." This is my last chance for freelance to work before I have to just, get a job in retail or something.

So I am going to be upping my prices, because what I'm making isn't enough clearly. It will affect everyone on my waitlist and future commissions too. I hate how I need to be such a charity case, but co-parenting and raising my daughter has reached a huge crisis point and I'm clearly, just trying to survive, doing what I love. But it seems it might not be enough.

I'm not quite thinking clearly enough to give a number, for the price increase, but I'm ball parking 30% more. Thank you for understanding and know this isn't a choice I want to make.
