Since Ma10 is coming up I really wanted a special avatar for it. I ended up making two because I couldn't help myself. :P

General | Posted 2 years agoHey guys so first off I want to say Thanks for sticking around all this time. I know I wasn't active for a few years, I thought I had lost all of my art files when my computer fried and it made me lose motivation. Thanks everyone that's stuck around! I was able to recover a bunch of my files recently so I may have some of the older avatars available coming up in the near future.
Now I just got a new tablet so bear with me as I try to recreate my brushes and stuff on SAI. The last two full pictures I've uploaded are me getting my brushes together, also getting used to the new resolution.
I do want people to know that I'm using an uploader now so I'm not always around when I do post artwork. I'm trying to stay a month a head but I did recently lose my backlog taking a month off because my family got back from Australia (They where gone for a whole month so I missed them incredibly).

Hey guys I've been super busy last month with three birthdays in this house (Including my own!) so I haven't been arting much. My kids are starting school in two weeks so I'm still breaking to spend a bunch of fun time with them before school starts. I should be back to arting after though!
I have an auto uploader uploading the rest of the beach body avatars to my avatar account. One a day sometimes it gets closed and there will be multiple uploads in one day but I'm trying not to spam those that watch that account too much! That'll be going until they are all uploaded around the 19th of this month.
When I get back to arting I'll be working on a new avatar, either a fall one or a new Halloween. You can expect Halloween avatars to open up at the start of next month. Hopefully I'll have some Halloween YCH's as well for you guys. I've been toying with the idea of a comic but we'll see if I have time.
Anyway the reason I made this journal is I'd like to do a raffle to chose someone to win a full color bust. Only my watchers are allowed to enter, new watchers are welcome.

Comic and delay on opening for avatars...
General | Posted 4 years agoHey guys so last week out of the blue I decided I wanted to make an Easter comic. It's an eight page comic plus cover and I'm super excited for it. I've been spending pretty much all of my time on it and I have 3 pages + cover completed. The rest of the pages are completely lined and ready for me to shade and color. I want to wait until all pages are completed before I upload any of it. The plan is to hopefully start uploading it on Friday and will upload two pages a week until complete! I'm really hoping to make that deadline so the comic at least starts before Easter.
At any rate this delays me opening for avatars. I do plan on still opening for the butterfly but will not be opening for the Easter avatars this year.

Commissions and YCH's and stuff....
General | Posted 5 years agoHey guys! So after much conflict with myself I have decided I won't be open for regular commission again for a while. I'm not sure when I'll be ready to open and if I do it may only be for one or two. I just need time to do me and my artwork.
That being said YCH's will be readily available. What I'll be doing is sketching pictures that I want to draw and I'll place my OC's in the sketch. I'll then offer them up as YCH's. It will be available until someone claims it or I'm ready to start working on it. If it hasn't been claimed by the time I'm ready to start working I will complete it as my OC. Depending on my work flow that could mean that sometimes they may only be available for a few hours.
I've also started holding off uploading images so I can spread them out that way when I take some time off or go through art block there won't be a huge lull from me. Please don't be offended if your YCH commission isn't uploaded right away, it is in a que to be uploaded (Feel free to upload it to you gallery even if I haven't yet). They won't always be uploaded in order either. I'm using a postybirb to upload artwork and I shuffle images around a lot so they get out of order. That also means that just because I uploaded something does not mean that I am around. I'm usually around in the mornings (US EST).
One last note if you weren't able to nab a butterfly avatar when I had first opened for them I should be opening for them again either at the end of this month or the start of the next. I'll probably be open for a week or so.

I'm just taking some time off. I actually ended up sketching a bunch of poses and then decided I needed a break for a bit. I'll be back to arting "soon". I just haven't felt like it recently, that'll happen. :)

I hurt myself last week and I haven't been able to be at the computer much. I'm getting better and I can now start to spend more time arting. I have two avatars available this year.
