We are happy to announce that Arizona Fur Con's dates for 2016 are September 30th to October 2nd and we are back at the wonderful Scottsdale Resort. Hotel links will go live this week and membership sales and panel submisssions are already open. Spread the word and get all your furry friends to come party with us this September.

First things first THANK YOU for coming out this year to AFC. We had a blast and hope you did as well! The hotel was wonderful and the staff enjoyed having us there! You guys were so great they want us back next year! Not only that but a second hotel is interested in having our event at their location! 2016 is looking good and you guys are who we have to thank. Our staff is going to put some serious thought into what location is best suited for our event for the next few years and we hope to have dates out for you all in about 30 days!

NOW, back to how this year went!

We are amazed at all of the wonderful support we got from you all this year. We had 725 unique attendies and 1,875 Turnstile. We grew by 30% from last year and seeing you guys come out and help us grow was one of the most encouraging things we could have asked for!

Our Charity Cat-A-Do came out for all three days to chat with you guys and you blew them away! Between the Charity Auction, The Art Show, Uncle Kage and 2 Gryphons's VERY impromptu Comedy Show, and all of you generous donations you guys raised $5525 for a group that really appreciated the help.

We are still getting the official final numbers in but we had over 500 attendees this year!

We also had 50 suiters at Fursuit games, Over 100 in our parade, and 12 contestants in out Dance Competition!

A big thank you to those who donated to the charity, Cat A Do, in honor of Marissa "Rue" Pummill.

Hey folks, Zeta here with a bit of bad news on the upcoming FurFest.

For the same reasons as the FurHop meets, we’ve decided to pull the plug on the FurFest originally planned April 26th, 2014. Health and safety of all involved is always our primary concern, and so, until the current issues are resolved, we’re going to have to indefinitely postpone the meetup. As soon as we feel it’s safe to run another meet, we’ll be putting out the next set of dates, hopefully with better luck this time.
I know you all are eagerly awaiting news of the convention itself. We are still working on it, and though it’s taking a bit longer than we’d hoped to sort everything out this year, we will let you know as soon as we have something.

We know it's a little close to the date to cancel something like this, so if you get a chance to let others know, please do so. Thank you very much.

Hi there! We're back, and we're moving onwards with getting set for our 2014 year. Though we're still not quite ready to announce a location for this year, we will be hosting the first furfest since the convention. Stop by, ask questions, and have some fun with us as we take over a park for a fun and furry BBQ!

AFC will be providing Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Chips, Soda, and Water. Gatorade will also be provided, but we ask you to reserved it for fursuiters only. We will also be providing condiments, plates, and napkins.

Note: We are choosing NOT to allow beer or alcoholic beverages at this event. This is geared towards family and furries, so feel free to bring your little ones to join in all our family friendly activities!
