Been a while since I popped in here, and things have changed a bit.

I'm more "active" on DeviantART under Jocossie, so more recent works are posted there. I might take a day to repost them here, but I dont know if I'll be using FA much (if at all) for... reasons.
Lets just say I'm even debating on even creating anymore, but thats a topic for another time.

Quick update.

Holidays went well, if not super busy at work; I've gotten better about anxiety at work so thats a plus.
Things have stabilized at home, everything's somewhat back to normal- but we did end up losing a vehicle due to the DSS issue we had. Other than that, smooth sails. I'm a real adult, with bills and shit! :D

Not to ramble on too much romantically, but shit's gotten rocky in that department: he ghosted me. No contact for no reason and no explanation. I'm stressed, tired, upset, sad, tired, depressed and no will to do anything. I didn't eat for a week, debating on canceling my only chance at an Artist's Alley Table, and I've narrowed down on 3 'final solutions.' So, no. I'm not okay.

I'm not okay.

But I've got some things to do before then.

Okay so long story short: SHITS FUCKED. Wait, you want details?

- 7 y.o. sister got a bad UTI while she was in school- like so bad there was blood in her urine. Instead of the school calling our parents thEY JUST STRAIGHT UP CALLED DSS (Department of Social Services.)

- My "step-father" is a registered sex offender because of a false rape accusation from when he was in his 20's so of course DSS thinks he's abusing his own daughter... which is so very obviously not the case.

- DSS is doing the investigation now, and he had to leave the premises until they finish. They told us it could take up to 45 days, longer if they have issues with the investigation. (Case worker even texted my mom saying NOW its up to 60 DAYS.)

- My mother took little sister to the hospital to help with her UTI, and its been an off and on occurrence- we learned to stop giving her bubble baths without actual bubble bath solution (we've been using old shampoos to make bubbles.) So she's doing better now.

- Moms been having to take time off work because I have a job and can't be home to watch kids after school. She's been out of work for almost a complete month, our bills are suffering because of it.

- We have no phone/internet, no cable, some furniture has been seized, we barely have groceries and our vehicles could be next for repossession which means NONE of us will be able to work.

- I'm using Mom's mobile hotspot off her tablet to keep in contact with friends and clients.

- We would consider a nanny or a babysitter, but my little brother is ADHD and borderline autistic so its hard to find someone he listens to and is patient with, not to mention my sister is a handful and caused the last babysitter to have a mental breakdown. That and well, no money.

- Also, we got 2 dogs, 2 chickens, a cat, a turtle and a parakeet- dunno anyone to take care of them.

- I managed to get my hours reduced so Mom can work and I can get kids onto and off the bus, but it could result in me quitting my job if it gets any worse.

SOUNDS FUN, DONT IT?

In other news, commissions are still open, its just that progression on them is quite slow. I'm slowly working to save for some Art Studio equipment/things like mailers, a laminator for badges and the like. I've recently indulged (possibly too much) on some Copic marker sets; the skintone set and the neutral set with the fine liner. Even swapped out my room lighting from the old bulbs to the daylight bulbs-- light so bright it hurts! So maybe it'll help with print making in the future.

But thats just a quick update since I haven't been on this site in about a month or so. You fuzzbutts take care~

I... FINALLY. Got through my last batch of commissions... I had another one slip in only because it was a close friend that wanted a commish. But now I'm finished, and I'm ready to get back in action!


With that being said, I will be gone between the 16th to the 25th of this month (June) to stay with my friends and relax. My spirits are lifting slowly but its still affecting my motivation, hopefully it will change after the trip.

I did read the guide for creating a Patreon page with their recommended tips, but I'm not sure what rewards would work best for the patrons. I already have some rewards ready to go, but I feel like... they're not enough. Those with a Patreon, whats some good tips for giving your Patrons some goodies??

Been going through a lot of stuff since the end of last year... won't go into details but I'm closing my commissions until further notice. I bit off a little more than I could chew in a desperate attempt to get things situated at our apartment, but at the moment I can calm down and finish them without worry.

So uhh... I coulda swore I updated this a while back but uh... guess it was a dream??

So I got the commissions back up and running, obviously. However I'm really, reaaalllyyyy needing those slots taken...

Been stuck at the parents house again while the apartment situation is in shambles. Gonna need some money to pay off our *disconnected* internet bill, which is creepin' close to $600. Right now with the money that I'm going to be paid, I've only got about $220. It might take a little more to terminate the contract but we wont be reconnecting it; more money back in our pockets every month. Matt's got the rent and utilities covered for now.

I'm also really debating on opening a Patreon page.. but I'm not sure how well its going to go, considering I don't have the resources for rewards at this point. I'll let you all know when it goes live.

Need to catch up on those 4 commishes I got going, got a lot of stress and I'm in a real bad situation. Ended back up at my parents' for babysitting duty (AGAIN) and their wifi router was blown out during a storm. I'll prolly still be here when they get a new one, and I guess I'll start streaming again?? IDK??

We're just barely escaping eviction, but we're doing fine-ish. Still got 6 slots open for commissions and my Redbubble store is still open (even though I'm having to fight to keep 2 pieces uploaded.) I also have a donation button on my profile- its the 'may I have a soda' one.

Just a quick reminder I'm still here..

So, we lost another one of our roommates. Now its just the 3 of us with only one person working and myself laid off until September due to the heat. Our rent is 495, utilities 330, and our internet is 150. Its too much for 1 person and it was a struggle when there were 2 people working.

We're working on a solution to fix it which may or may not include putting a down payment on a house. The issues with that are
1.) Its basically around 1000$ a month for all our current bills, we cannot save any money whats so ever.
2) We would see about a loan, but seeing how we do not know our credit scores it may or may not work- even then we might not be able to start paying off right away.
3.) We don't know whether or not our bills have a disconnect fee (especially the internet. CenturyLink sucks in more ways than one.)
4.) We also have a roach/flea infestation we have to pay for, rental agency won't help us.
And 5.) We would need about 1500$ for down payment, and possibly another 700$ for appliances.

So, we need 2000$ while trying to pay for our current place ... its not working out so good guys.

We're doing what we can at the moment- our remaining roommate is spamming job applications, hubby is going to work (pulling overtime too) and I... I feel bad just waiting for my job to come back. I opened my RedBubble shop a few days ago (I MADE A SELL AS WELL! YES~!) but the reality that I may end up without a home is .. well, rather unsettling; frightening is more of the term.

With that said, my commissions are still open- I only have 3 of the 10 slots taken at the moment so all payments received from them are going to the "New House" fund. If you're not willing enough for a commission, I have a 2$ donation button on my homepage (it was initially for my caffeine addiction, but I'll suffer and put them towards the house as well.) Think it's too much for a gofundme? I usually associate gofundme with real emergencies (vet/hospital bills, funeral costs, etc.)

Either way, please mention my open commissions to your friends and followers. It would help take my mind off the situation if i were to sit down and just draw.

I wanted to hold off on opening up the shop, but since I got laid off for the summer and low on commissions (high fan art drive, though!) I figured I would get the advertisement going on it before the cool shit arrived.

There's no new journals from my watches, yet it says theres one there? Anyone else got this problem?

So I just learned some things about the job I got- I knew it was gonna be busy since its planting season but I didn't know that the job actually goes on hiatus during end of June/early July - September. So I'll be free to do actual things during this time, but for a price.

Like all those YCH slots and that Ref Sheet Commish. Yeesh, you have no idea how badly I'm beating myself up over that shit.

Soooo my Hunter YCH is done, the last slot was finally taken by Big Brother, hopefully that will give me a better incentive to finish everything.

I haven't been able to do a lot of art n stuff due to work (as predicted) but despite having now 4 commissions I'm still only working on other things and it bugs me. I've read an article or two how forcing yourself to work on specific things aren't good for you and that taking breaks on semi-important projects help ya temporarily feel better so you can get to work on those projects.

I don't remember where I read these things nor does it seem like its helping. I end up feeling worse for completing a sketch or maybe even coloring it (as I'm doing right now.... huh.) I know those that are waiting for those commissions are very nice and very patient- patience does have a limit; plus I've heard a lot of horror stories about commissions never being completed, a personal friend of mine waited 2 full years before the artist said "i cant do bgs." Geez...

I'm just asking for an opinion, no need to justify my anxiousness and slight scolding might do me some good. But I do have to work tomorrow as its 6 am.. idk if I should sleep now or wait another 15 hrs. eeuuuggch,

We're doing surprisingly well for having shit hit the fan; the money from my last job kept us afloat long enough for one of our roommates and myself to get jobs that pay fairly well.

This job I have now... it pays well, but the hours are horrendous. I basically run 8-10hr shifts Mon. through Frid., but will have to work weekends if we're behind. I check online flower orders now..making sure the item numbers and quantity of said items are correct.

I wish hell on whoever orders those 20+ rose collection packages (they arrive in 2 or more connected containers and they're hell to sort through and you may lose chunks of your fingers.) Seriously though, fuck those rose bushes.

I just might be able to get a new washer/dryer set or possibly completely rebuild my pc, maybe buy all those games I wanted- but of course I have to be the responsible adult and try to fix things up before I can do any of that x'] I still want to save for a house but the one I was looking into got off market and shot up to $81K. Just when it seemed possible...

This job leaves me so tired that I can barely stand when I get home, but I'm sure I can get accustomed to it... it just leaves so much less room to do videos or commissions, but they're coming along slowly. Many thanks to those waiting and being patient.

So you know that thing we were worried about happening a few months ago? Yes, it just happened.

To make it clear for my newest watchers, I live with my bf and 3 of our high school friends. One of these friends had a girlfriend who seemed okay in the beginning but that's clearly not the case now. Saturday, after being MIA for a week and a half she comes back to the house, grabs all her belongings (correction, her bitchy friends grabbed all her stuff while she stood there saying NOTHING TO ANYONE) and took off. There is a lot more details to this situation but in the end she's gone, there's less pets, the house got cleaned more than it has in the past 7 months, and we're finally happy to be without her.

I'm not here to rant about her. I'm just here to say I'll possibly need commissions and/or donations more than ever, as not only is the Ex-GF out of the picture but one of our other friends wants to move out as well, leaving us 4 with a 500$ estimate of utilities and 495$ worth of rent. OH ALSO, SHE TOOK THE WASHER AND DRYER MACHINES

I have an interview with Sonic on Thursday and hopefully it goes well- however just in case I fall under part time I need to start doing more commissions to be able to get the cash up to cover for those leaving us. And I hope this Redbubble shop takes off soon too...it hasn't opened yet but it will soon.

This journal is a little late, but oh well.

Well the Easter job was fun, for what it was worth. Most of the kids ran in terror, some harassed me while there was a small amount that actually enjoyed seeing the Easter Bunny. Had a couple kids come by with gifts; I got a card and a bunny plush keychain from them :3 super cute~

Trying to get back into the swing of things with commissions and videos. I have a set of videos that need subtitling and other edits; the commissions are kinda close to being done. Mostly... I hate my work ethic.

But I've also discovered Redbubble- I have a few of my Destiny-themed fanart posters and a new sticker design up but I'd like to be able to make some original content to sell as well. Maybe more simple stickers since they're small, and possibly more tee designs.

OH. AND LEGGINGS. BECAUSE LEGGINGS ARE A THING YOU CAN DESIGN NOW. YES!!!

It's been a few weeks since I was able to post anything (or reply to everyone after the FurMedia stream) But I got hired on to do the Easter bunny at the local mall and I'll be busy for the next two weeks or basically until Easter Sunday. Yes, it is a tiring job but I'm considering it as fursuit-training!

Before I was hired on I was at my parents house instead of my apartment and my dearest isn't the best at upkeep, so even after my shifts I'll be cleaning up our place. Heck, I don't even have my pc hooked back up yet. That also means no streams, sorry guys.

As a forewarning, this break may extend even longer since I'm going to try my hardest to work two jobs, as we still need a new place. Our last house choice was already purchased so we have another place in mind for roughly the same price ($35k.) Gonna go for the 7k down payment and spend the 1k on appliances and get the f*ck outta here. It's a train on fire heading for the cliffs.

Once the pc is set back up I'll work on commissions, as all money is going towards the house we're looking into. Each commission/donation is greatly appreciated!
