So I have to say that my time down in Atlanta was pretty fucking amazing. It was great to see all of my friends from the area, even if you all were way too busy being staff lol, and I met some pretty awesome new people as well. Starting the weekend off with a car crash was not what I had envisioned for sure. However the rest of the weekend made up for it.
I can't wait to get back down to see everyone again.

And to all my friends that were Con Staff, the con was amazing. You all did a great job with everything and I hope you were able to enjoy it as much as the rest of us!

Soooooo
It's been a year since my last journal, and fuck if a lot of stuff has happened lol

So firstly, since it's that time of year, My Bday is on the 23rd...... I'm gonna be 28.... I'm not sure how I feel about this yet lol
Obviously getting older isn't that bad (99% of living things prefer it to death) but it's just weird to think of myself as being almost 30.
I remember thinking I'd NEVER make it to 18. It just took so damn long to get there! And now I look back and go "wasn't I just 18 a few years ago" lol
But enough rambling like an old man. On to more exciting things!

So as most of you know, I've been in LPN school for the past year. Well I graduated! *happy dance* :D
I also just took, and passed, my NCLEX. Which means I am now Officially a Nurse!
For those of you that don't know me that well, It really has been a dream of mine for Years to be a nurse.
So I'm pretty fucking ecstatic right now lol
So now it's time to hit the job market and start saving/prolonging some lives!

Other than that, it's just been life in general.
I'm trying to get more active again. Sitting on my ass for 5 days a week + studying = fat badger :<
But I'm getting back into cycling, so hopefully that plus some other activities will get that weight back down.
Now that I'm out of school, I'll have more free time AND once I get a job I'll have money!
So Hopefully I'll be getting out more and making new friends around here, and I'll also be able to make it back to GA to see all my great friends there :D

So I think that pretty much wraps up everything.
I hope that life has been treating all of you well and will continue to do so. :D

Seeing as how I haven't posted on here for a while, I thought i might should do a general update on how things are going. :3

I've been up in TN for almost a year now, and even thought I still don't like it up here, things are starting to go quite well for me.
I officially start my LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) classes on March 1st. I really can't explain how happy I am about this. Giddy as a fucking school-girl on coke might start to cover it lol I have been wanting to get back into school for years, and now I'm finally starting. I've been working in the medical field for almost a year now and I love every minute of it. It's been so much more personally rewarding than retail ever was, so I can't wait to get my carrier started in nursing.
All that being said, I am so fucking anxious about these classes x.x;;
I will pretty but be eating, sleeping and breathing school for the next year. The classes are very difficult and I have to maintain an 80 or above average in all of my classes or I'm out of the program.
I know I can do it, and I'm sure I'll do well. But the anxiety is still there.
Oh, I will also be going to class Monday - Friday in the morning, and studying for pretty much the rest of the day. So I might be hard to get hold of, just as heads up.

In other news, OLD PEOPLE!!!!
They are pretty awesome, I work with them a lot and they amuse the hell out of me. I've been thinking about doing some journals about some of the things they have said or done to myself or others. The only problem is HIPAA. Basically I can't say anything that could be an identifying characteristic of any of my patients. So it make it kinda hard to write about them. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to hit me up. I'd love to hear them, and I'd love to share some of my stories.

Last, but most assuredly not least.
I am dating a wonderful Dalmatian by the name of Mocha now. :D
We've been dating since November and things are going great. We actually met each other about a year ago on Pounced. The friendship took of pretty quickly and we started spending more time together. Well eventually it became obvious that we were both interested in more, so yeah I asked him out. You can hit him up here He doesn't have much on there right now, but i'm hoping to get him to post some of his art eventually.

So if you haven't heard, I'm now living in TN. Thanks to the joys of being jobless, I was at the point to where I was broke and essentially homeless. Fortunately my parents are in a position where they can help me out till I recoup some. So as of yesterday I am officially living in Spring Hill TN.

I've called GA home for the past 7 years and it really kills me to leave it behind, but I know that I'm doing what's needed to get my life back on track. I also know that I'll be moving back as soon as I can.

I have some good things going for me up here though. Since I worked for GM for that short time, I'm actually eligible for some extended unemployment benefits. That means they are going to pay for school / training for me. I'm planning on going into the LPN program, which will be great. I cant hardly put into words how excited and happy I am about getting back into school. I've been wanting to get back into school for years and now it'll be paid for as well.

I'm not certain exactly how long I'll be here, but I know that I'll be coming back to GA as often as I can. I have way too many great friends down there to stay away for too long.



On a side note. If anyone knows any cool furs in the Nashville area. Feel free to pass on their info. I'd be great to make some friends up here. Oh and I'm also only an hour away from Huntsville. So if you know anyone there... :3

Just letting all you fine fuzzy people know that I'm actually going to start using this thing.
I figure I need to stop being such a bad Furry and jump on the bandwagon. lol
