Huzavod notes
Posted 11 years agoCommonly aggressive. Thrill seeking. Moderately intelligent, though highly resourceful and great imitators.
Intelligence is mostly instinctual and passed on through genes and through imitation.
Short life span- average span of 50 years. The don't really age in appearance once they hit maturity.
Most common occupation: Mercenaries, from their natural instincts for hunting, natural weapons, array of venom/paralytics and ability to really disable personnel.
Egg incubation: 1 month in themselves, 2 months in hosts. (3 months total)
The are omnivores, eating only plants they can swallow whole.
High immune system and quick healers. Highly developed sense of smell for hunting food or hosts.
Found across the galaxy with no home planet to speak of. Most are not very sentimental.
Each goes through a month of 'mating frenzy', the length between each 'frenzy' varies depending on the size of the colony, larger the colony, the longer the time is between each 'frenzy'.
If they can only find other Huzavods, they fight for the privilege to 'plant'. Though uncommon, some groups of Huzavods share the privilege and 'plant' each other.

But a few artists has asked me to extend it... I want to, seeing as the turn out this year was far less then even my first year. But I'm not sure how fair that is to those who've already entered.
So the purpose of this journal is, to ask what you all think. Should I extend it? and if yes, for how long? (I'm thinking one or two weeks.)
Also no one has pimped it out...
Does free art not go for as much advertisement these days XD? (The free art pimpage thing is still going though. Check the bottom of the contest journal)

To celebrate my completed journey, I hold yet another Art Contest!
What's the theme this year? Valentines day! Why? Because I'm out of ideas and it's the same month and well... you know.

2. The Theme is Valentines Day Featuring your character with either Jack or Francis.

Through out the whole con, there were people that sat the hour wait to get the ribs, who they all swear by as one of the best ribs they had. They all were there when Big Mama was there, maybe that makes the difference, who knows, but they took old food from a person's plate so re heat it for someone else. I can't think about it any more, makes me ill.
Moving on to the main event.
So
Had a whole shit tons of fun. A lot more fun then last year. Met some awesome new people <3
I also failed at gathering all the Asian for a photo shoot.
But fear not, I will get it done next year. I swears it!
I wished I had bought real Vuvuzelas for the con...
Maybe next year.

Went by too fast. at least, it seemed so.
If ya were in the game room, you saw me. :D Why? Because
rocksteady and I ran the damn room for the entire con.
It was awesome.
I however, seemed to come off as zoned out during it. I blame the lack of Bawls. Need more Bawls.
Which I should have next time.
Also, will have better announcements of Gaming events next time. Will invest in a mini microphone system for the game room, damn voice gave out. WTF was I thinking.

But during this week, I do ask every one who entered to note/email me a mailing address and your shirt size for a free shirt.
