A "little" piece of News - 24/11/2022
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone, Xeralex here, and I hope you are all doing well these days.
Today, I have some news I wish to share with all of you. They have to do with a small update on me a bit, and the future of our patreon all together.
I am not too well. I am not really bad, but too well either...
This year has been a rather big trial to me, after my mother's passing, and all the shit I had to deal with coming with that.
Family that doesn't really care other than themselves, bills and taxes that fall over me, anxiety from a crappy job that kept demanding more from me, over and over, and to top of that health issues created from all this anxiety... All of this is, it's just... too much....
I thought i could do it, and handle all of this, but after that heart attack episode i had a few months ago, it was obvious that i had to stop. I pushed myself too much, way too much. I need to stop, and really take care of myself first from now on.
And for that reason, changes will be done.
I've already taken the steps i need to slowly and steady prepare for some major changes in my life, and finally move with people that really care about me, but that is only the first of many steps. Will be a major new start, in a new place, and that might really delay a lot of art done, and for that i cant do much other than apologize in advance for it, but it is something i must do, for a better future for me, and then for all the art and stories me and my husband can and will prepare for the future.
This won't happen right away, though. I will need some time to make the last preparations, and also (as always for these kinds of things) money too. For that reason, we will be opening commissions in a more frequent base, to try and slowly help us on this department too. (more details come on this matter on later posts too)
Now, about our patreon
-There will be some changes coming along its way too. Like said a moment ago, when the time comes, there will be a delay of content there too, as posts will be probably done less frequently and mainly around day-offs time, request events will be smaller too, and a bit sorter (instead of a few weeks, they'll probably be 3-4 days tops).
- new focus on patreon. After a talk with my husband, we decided that it will be best for me to have a focus on our works. And so, after we finish all the current patreon events we have with the works and events posted from September to October, we will be putting almost all our focus to resuming Misadventures comic and game dev learning for RPGs making. Misadventure is a really big comic we wanted to make for some time now, and its about time we put it out from its hiatus. As for the game dev, this is more personal project, as it is always been my dream to study and make my own game tittles, and i had been postponed it for too long. I want to resume it, and start making games to share with all of you. I have so many wonderful people that love the small ideas i had shared with them, and they keep supporting me this very day about all these ideas and plans i have written down about it. The time has come to me to try and push myself to resume studying to learn and create my own games at last. And i can't think a better place to do this than patreon, as i can share with you all my progress and any small game i will be making.
-There will be no more patreon paused on subs. I am sorry once more in advance for all the delays that might come, and happen, but i cannot afford to pause anymore the subs. I hope you can understand this.
I believe, with that, i have covered all the news i had so far.

NEW GOAL - MOVING MONEY SAVINGS!!

It's been a while now, that we, Xeralex and Crispy_writes, have been together, and finally after a long wait, because of both Corona, misfortunes of life, and getting finally a job, we are at long last getting ready to take the next step on our lives, and slowly prepare to move in together!
But doing so needs both good preparation, and as always, money too...! So we are started saving money to make this happen!
Of course, we don't gonna just ask them for free! For the whole next part of the year, we will be working slowly extra time, to deliver more art to you, request events, commissions, and hopefully even games! Yep! You heard right! Finally, things got settling back to normal for Xeralex's part of life, and we are slowly able to resume and work steady in a much better pace once more.

A little news - 10/3/2022
Posted 3 years agoHey guys, Xeralex here, and I GOT A JOB TwT....!! Finally, after several years unemployed, I found a good job that will help me for these upcoming days, for both the bills, but also with aiding me with some moving I will be doing later this year too. This will affect little the art working part, but in a major scale. If anything, i do think the work will fuel my drawing desire a little more too ;3
I finally can see some bright light in this freaking tunnel, and I want to thank you all for this. It is thanks to you, and your support and the help of my loving angelo that I manage to do better little by little these past days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all once more.

First, a small change to our first tier's name of our patreon, from "follower's mask" to "patron's mask". Only the name changed btw. The rest of the benefits, prices and etc are reaming the same.
Second, I would like to let our patrons know that the billing of the next month will be resuming normally.
Last but not least, I would like to let you all know that from the next month and for so on, our main focus will be continuing the "Misadventures" comic. It's been already a while, and it is a little long overdue. And with this point, yes, we shall be not doing any event for this year's Minomarch. I apologize for this, but at the current moment I am still striving a little to keep my focus, due to my current state at my life, but thanks to you, and some very great people close to me, i am able to see all this through, little by little. I really wouldn't have done all this without you all. Thank you all. I do promise you more works will come soon, little by little, for all to enjoy. Hopefully, the next Misadventures update will be ready for you all to read this week.

Xeralex: a little update
Posted 4 years agoThank you all for your kind words. Want you to know i am doing better. I was though a little unlucky and got covid along with all this chaos, but thankfully i was able to get through it with minor fever all together.
Things are not yet fully back to 100%, but i am still doing better than before. Most likely, i might resume a little work this week too. Until next post, wish you all doing well, and please make sure you take care of yourselves these days.

Xeralex: something serious came up...

Before you read any further, though, please understand, i am not writing this to force any "emotional package" of any kind. This is just an update about me, and the current situation i am going through...
Earlier today, my mother passed away... She had some serious health issues for a few months now (not corona), and unfortunately the worst just happened... I am doing as well as i can, but i am way too tired at the moment for anything... I need some time to grieve and let it all sink in, and to heal from it all together, and thankfully, with my boyfriend's help, i shall be able to see this through a little better than i would alone.
For that reason, though, there won't be any work post for a couple of months all together. Even patreon works will be halted and be slow for the upcoming months as well. I am sorry, but as i am right now, i really cannot work at anything....

This past year has been really something else. Thanks to all of your inspiration and your support, we were able to draw some really nice pics and comics to share with all of you, and we are determined to continue to do so for the upcoming year as well, especially with our latest biggest project right now, the "Misadventures".
Thanks to all that work, we decided to make "Misadventures" our main focus comic, from this point out, until its completion (link for the comic public releases here:https://themisadventuresbegins.thec......com/comics/1/). Of course, this does not mean that there won't be other art. We're still going to have various request events over the year, and post various other smaller ideas, as promised, and you can always check our public posts sites too, for news, and art there too:

Now there is only one more small issue to refer to.
As you noticed, there has been a small delay on posts this past couple of weeks, and that is my bad. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with some personal issues during this time, that has been tiring me for a while, leaving me with not much time to work. Thankfully, i have been finally started sorting things out, and will be able to resume work in a better pace and focus once more.
Thank you for your understanding, and thank you for all your support you have given us so far. We'll always strive and do our best and deliver you good stories to read, and watch, and even take part.
