Posted 16 years agoYou know those jobs obama promised us? how many of them require a college education?
say you wanted to be a lawyer,
you need to study law,
at a law school or university that teaches it,
going there costs LOTS of MONEY
where do we get money reliably?
a JOB.
say you got that job, how long will it take to pay for your tuition? 1 year? 2 years? till your old and have a prune-face?
keep in mind you gotta pay insurance of all kinds, taxes, bills of all kinds. all of which sap you from one job, making you need to take on a second job, or third or fourth and so on.
my dad has a full education, he builds virtual airfields for military and civilian owned companies, his income pays the bills, insurance and taxes yet still it isn't enough.
my mom is a consultant for a cookware company, her income puts food on the table and only that.
so again i ask: how many of those jobs require an education?

Posted 16 years agoAs you all have heard, late last night the united states lost an irreplaceable figure in politics, Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy lost his battle to brain cancer.
The youngest born in his family, a roman catholic and influential democrat, he made a honorable run for the oval office in which he opted out for the nomination. His list of accomplishments is enormous that would make his family proud. He had to suffer the torment of having not one but TWO of his own brothers assassinated, I can't imagine going through what he went through, yet he went on regardless to help shape this country to how it is now.
you will be missed by many Ted Kennedy, be at peace

Posted 16 years ago...wanted to cuddle someone in real life that you know well online? well thats what im feeling in regards to two people, both of which will remain anonymous.
I'm still waiting for my dad to get a contract for a helicopter airfield that i can work on with him, my mom got the algebra books needed for my math class [which im proud to say, needs only algebra 1 for me to pass].
I want to move out and live indipendantly, maybe move in with a possible mate.
....God i hate living in a mormon neighborhood.
Star wars X-Wing tracks now being worked on in my spare time.

Waiting Games
Posted 16 years agonote the use of the 'S' in 'Games'. im waiting for my copy of Team Fortress 2 to download the sniper vs. spy update, and waiting till i start my job.
I'll be working for my dad making virtual airfields, I'm gonna have to learn how to use Multigen Paradigm [an expensive 3D and programing software] and do this for the entire summer and maybe well passed autumn.
right now the game is 40% updated at the time the percentage was typed.
well, im off, gonna look at some smut, then when its done downloading, I'll get on and get some more head shots, even if i already have the graymater achievement.

Reacquisition of tactical advantage
Posted 16 years agoI got my new G35 headset late saturday night and i love it, but now im a slave to my parents for the cost of it.
Anyway i figure it best to tell those watching this account just who I am really:
I'm Connor Clawson, introduced into the furry fandom at 15, i created my fursona at age 17, settled on the Sabertooth Lynx the next year. I'm the oldest of 5 kids [3 boys, 2 girls] still living with my parents.
I have 2 computers, my Intel Mac which is old, and my PC which is older...i think.
I'm Bi, and a virgin *cries*.
I like to play around with music on my mac, ill be making some original pieces sometime, but usualy remastering old video game tracks. I do music cause i can only draw inanimate objects, its a weakness of mine.

Loss of tactical advantage
Posted 16 years agotonight my head set's mic has hit its stride, specificly the wire that connects the headset to the mute and volume control.
i had that Logitech headset since 2005, I'm kinda sad to see it gone...*sniffle*...
