At this point, this is more of a question than anything else, but Im looking to see what kind of numbers I'll be looking at.

A friend  knifesharpener and I  sherwoodboy are in the process of creating a multiple page (possibly 10-15 pages of comic strips) featuring a short story based on one of my characters. It will be story driven, and tell a side you all aren't really aware of. However, this does entail a few things. It is going to heavily feature belly related scenarios, such as noises, stuffing, bloating, all the good stuff. That's really all I can tell you so far as we plan to release teasers and such soon.

The main purpose of the journal is to see how many people might be interested in this? It will not be a freebie. This whole comic will come with a price attached (A fair one, I promise). I wanna get a quick headcount of anyone who MIGHT be intrigued about this enough to consider purchasing. So just comment if this is something you might buy. The details are minimal of course so it's hard to know, but even a "maybe" is a good start.

I know, I know. I've been a terrible group admin thus far by not updating anything really, but I'm gonna try and give a shit now XD Anyway, I used to post a lot of these, but due to running out of questions at the time AND losing interest, it sorta faded out. Since there's more of you around now, I think it's a good time to restart. Feel free to answer and enlighten us all.

I know most of you do them. Perhaps this would be a good way for you all to get in touch with each other. Another question came to me today that I'm genuinely interested in discussing.

There are a lot of Original Characters on this site that I really love, especially for Belly Noises. My question to you guys is, which characters are your favorite for that sort of thing? Or which character would you like to see with a growling stomach or anything like that? You should also mention who the character belongs to. Who knows? Someone just might commission/draw it if they see it X3 it's always worth a try.

We used to do these all the time but now since there's a whole lot of you, I expect more replies X3 So here we go. answer them accordingly.

Hey Everybody. I'm back to give you a bit of an update on the contest idea where we choose a group mascot. The rules are as follows:

You must make up a new original character that you feel could represent this group well.

Submissions have to be 2 drawings of entered character in the same submission, both of which are belly growling scenarios. (color is recommended). After the winner is decided, all artists who entered must draw the winner in a belly growling scenario. The winner is decided by a vote. All entries will be sent to me! Sherwoodboy! Please do not post them into your Gallery until AFTER I have submitted them in the group gallery.

This is a last call for people who want to participate. Whose in? Please let me know by note or by responding to this journal. If you aren't participating DO NOT REPLY TO THIS!

Once you clarify you are partaking in this, I will ask that you start ASAP so I can begin a collection of entries. After I get so many I will no doubt make a Deadline. Don't wait too long!

Anyway, this idea was thought up by  vivamus_lican. to have the group be represented by one certain character: A mascot if you will.

This character has to be a nice contribution to belly growling, and it can be of any species. The artists out there willing to contribute will be tasked with thinking up a new character and drawing it themselves. This character should be largely supply the bellynoise group and whichever one gets chosen will represent the group. This may help the group, as whichever character gets chosen may be used in other art, but will always have to be credited with the creator AND the group. Gets the name circulating, ya know?

Entries will be required to submit a colored (flat colors at least) drawing of the character in two separate belly growling scenarios. As well, they will need a name

The winner will be chosen by a vote in a journal sometime down the road.

Of course I wouldnt recommend commonly known belly noise videos as I'll probably already know about them and they'll probably be in there sometime anyway. Cartoons and Anime are highly encouraged as well as anything live action.

Just thought this would be another neat little idea.

Ok, so this is how it will play out. I have decided that we can do more than one of these so long as the interest stays high, and to get everyone involved that wants to be. I'm thinking for these group RPs there will only be a maximum of 5 people, and this is to avoid conflict, confusion, and all around frustration :P.

I plan to have our first one this coming Tuesday at 9PM Eastern Time. Those that want in on it should comment on this journal as there are only 4 spots for it, the people being chosen may be chosen on a first come first serve basis too so you might have to be a bit hasty :P

Ok, so the belly growl pic of the week didnt exactly take off because there isn't a whole lot being submitted with that subject matter within a weeks time...and I feel bad that this group as so many watchers but no means of connection really.

So I dunno, what should we do? We could start RPs. Another Contest perhaps. Or I could ask questions again and we could all discuss them.

So to get back into the swing of things, I've decided to start a "pic of the week" where anything belly noise related is up for contention. each week I'll find a belly growling pic, post it in journal form, let the actual artist know that it has been selected, and permission allows it, I will post it into the submission page. Now since it's a weekly thing, I won't be selecting pics that have been submitted within the current week until a bit later. Belly growling pics are hard to come by so if I start with current weeks right at this moment then we might be waiting for a while.
