Posted 15 years agoSo ends day 2 today we had the fursuit parade (AKA) the death march... But all and all the day was great got to hang out with lots of people today too got myself a marci commission and a brain slug today as well but I just wanted to shoot this message out before I crinkle off to bed :P

Geopye and some fur that I forget his name >.< but they are all pretty awesome the room at the Saint Claire is pretty small but that is expected of a hotel from the 1920s all and all we are having a good con in about 15 minutes we are gonna take a field trip to Santa Cruz I shall keep people updated if your at FC and wish to find me before the con is done Private Message me and I shall send you my Number where I can be reached at my response times with my phone are normally pretty quick unless I ish asleeps OH!!! and the Weather Is nice

Posted 15 years agoWell we are in California we are gonna check out the Red Woods and then we shall make our way to the the convention the hotel we stayed in had a heater and air conditioner that sounded like a jet taking off every time it kicked on so it woke me up every time it also woke up Geo as well but it should all be fine looking forward to seeing all of you there .

Posted 15 years agoFinally in Cali stopped in Fresno for the night at the Quality in upon getting in the city parts of Cali I realize one of 3 things 1 that people drive like mad cows 2. that the idiots that designed the roads put a sudden stop sign without warning in a 60 MPH ZONE WTF and three any part outside the city area smells like shit :C am not in the San Jose area but am going to look at Red Woods before we get to the convention area we are both tired once again so we are both ready to just conk out and sleep maybe we will be in better spirits in the morning! But I am looking forward to getting to the Convention and seeing the Trees well that is all Good night :P

Posted 15 years agoUpon leaving the safety of New Vegas we ventured to Hoover Dam where we encountered a lot of NCR troops after exploring the ruins of the operational Hoover Dam we are now in route to California probably gonna take one more stop the great red woods.....

Posted 15 years agoWell after lots of driving and sightseeing we went to the petrified forest and then after dropping a duce at there restrooms we headed to the Grand Canyon and got plenty of pictures! by the time we reached the cluster fuck that Boulder City we wrer tired off our asses. After finding three hotels with the Bitch in the Box we finally found one just on the outside of Vegas I think if Geo had to find another hotel she would have killed someone for a bed! We are now at the comfort inn outside of vegas Both of us are ready for a good night rest ^_^
Oh and the Bitch in the Box so far has tried to kill us by nearly leading us thru a gate a guard rail another gate tried to lead us thru the desert to the highway on a road did not exist and to 1 hotel that was actually a museum >.> This is why I don't trust GPS's but they are helpful.

Posted 15 years agoStayed at the Best Western in Grants New Mexico over the night seeing the desert was a nice change of scenery We should still be on time to get to FC gonna make a few side trips at the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam but we are still making good time Geo and I are both sick of driving by now but the views and the scenery is amazing and worth the trip the winter dust weather seems to be over with so I am guessing we have gone past all that... But all and all the trip is good had one mishap with the Bitch in the Box (GPS) but that was no big deal. . .

Posted 15 years agoBack on the road after seeing the south can't drive in even the smallest amount of snow we stayed at the super 8 in henryetta OK we are still well ahead of scheduale not much new same road different day so farthe weather looks ok but it's still cloudy we will see what the weather holds out for our journey hope you enjoyed the video last night

FC ROADTRIP UPDATE end of Day 1 w/video
Posted 15 years agoSo ends the first day of traveling and it ended with the knowledge that southern people have absolutely no experience in how to drive in the snow it seems that a simple dusting in the south creates utter chaos for anyone but I am now safely in Oklahoma at a Super 8 with Geo and we will continue on our journey in the morning. . . We are still well ahead of schedule so making FC2011 I don't think will be an issue

Posted 15 years agoSeeing that FA is down I'm writing this in Nashville on my iPhone notepad we been driving since 7pm with about 1 1/2 hours of stops been away from home for 15 hours passing by exit 196 on I-40 with the promise of bad weather up ahead I am glad that we left so early so we can make some good headway to get to California with the truck loaded with our stuff we are make excellent gas milage about 15-16 mpg now you gotta realize were running a Dodge ram 1500, 2005 daytona edition with a 5.7 Hemi awwwww yeah were making great time so we mite make a few stops Hoover dam yada yada yada but so far so good hope to get there on time if not ahead of time

Posted 15 years agoOnce Geo gets here we will be departing on our epic journey from PA to CA we will be taking mainly I-81 and I-40 to Cali 6000 miles round trip lets pray the weather sides with us for we are crazy and we both know it =P Lets hope we make it in one piece I will be posting updates and maybe videos on a regular basis :P Wish us luck. . . . . .

Posted 15 years ago geopye and I shall be departing by the luxurious Behemoth de 1500 XD after work on Saturday in route to Further Confusion from PA to CA its gonna be a memorable Fur Con just hope I remember to pack everything I think the drive itself with geo will be the best part of this vacation I will probably be making posts and stuff as well as maybe a few videos to mien youtube channel but I will be sure to post those videos here as well hope everyone else that is going has a safe trip :DPoll: babyfur fursona

Posted 15 years agoToday I am going to start the day by going to my great uncles funeral yeah!!! found out about it last minute and that it was today so I had to go into work yesterday and arrange for me not being there today fun fun fun but it really does not matter since this weeks paycheck will come while I am at FC

Merry Christmas. . . Bad News
Posted 15 years agoTo those that read my last journal my Great Uncle passed away this morning at 8:00 from stomach poisoning :( But that is life and I have come to terms with that I wish you all a safe and Happy Holiday for whatever one you celebrate

Posted 15 years agoI awake this morning and chill out a few minutes one Second Life before work when my mother calls and asks if I am awake only to hear that my Great Uncle had an aneurysm in his stomach and was flown to Geisinger Hospital all the way in Danville only to be told there is nothing they can do for him and they sent him home by an ambulance to hopefully enjoy Christmas with knowing that his chances of survival are slim to none as all the bacteria from his stomach has contaminated his body. So no Merry Christmas too me but I shall put the game face on and look happy for the folks.

Posted 15 years agoSo next year the FTC/FCC is releasing all US numbers to the public that means that the telemarketers will now have your number >:( I just wanted to let people know if you wanna avoid the telemarketers from calling grab your phone and dial 888-382-1222 this is the number for the DO NOT CALL registry meaning if you get called by a telemarketer 31 days after being put on the do not call list they get a hefty fine you gotta add yourself every five years and it is free by the government . . . I feel that it is total BS that they are releasing numbers to the public it annoys the crap out of me but I just wanted to share this knowledge it takes a minute to do and its good for 5 years
I Hate The Holidays
Posted 15 years agoCall me a grump a miserable soul or an asshole but I hate the holidays. . . WHY? . . . In the Years that I have been alive I have realized that Christmas has turned into a big commercial holiday and that no one realizes the true meaning of the holiday is not to spend shit loads of money on gifts its showing people that you care about them or that you spend time with family and friends but it seems every new year the holiday gets more and more commercialized it makes me sick I rather get nothing for Christmas as long as I have my close friends and family. This rant is coming from talking to someone on SL that has somehow gotten me wanting to rant about this commercial holiday. . .Honestly if I had to find a gift for everyone I know my head would burst into flames I cannot stand shopping the less time I have to spend in a crowded store full of idiots and little out of control kids everywhere the better I just assume tell the person Merry Christmas and be done with it and not be expected to buy a gift and worry if a person likes it or not Seriously Christmas should not be a stressful money grubbing holiday it should be about Family Friends and Feast :D. . . . . Oh Merry Christmas

Posted 15 years agoI am so ready for the weekend work is a pain in the arse and I got Saturday and Sunday off not to mention tonight but evenings for me to have off are common but tonight Foxmerc, Geo and I are going to be going furry bowling so tonight will be the highlight of my week plus it will be another opportunity to do something with Geo before we head off to Further Confusion should be a fun night for all of us ^__^

Posted 15 years agoIt is decided between geopye and I that we will in fact be driving across the united states to go to Further Confusion 2011 its gonna cost a lot more to do but it is something we both want to do with registration complete we are now both going we will either be beginning our drive on the 9th or the 10th but it will defiantly be a great trip. . .

I find this to be a policy in my favor for I am one that does not agree with the Adult/Mature cub art and find it appalling! I also feel that it will be a change for the better. My views on Babyfur/Cub art is that it should be PG and the characters in it should not be in sexual situations. SO! I can say I agree with this policy change on Fur Affinity 100% and have been waiting for this change for a loooong time ^__^!!! I am always appalled when I come across adult cub art, it irks me in such a way that I cannot even explain. The fact that they are making this change makes me like FA even more :P I mean really if your getting your jollys off looking at cubs in sexual situations and I knew!!! I would be coming after you with "THE RUSTY MEAT CLEAVER OF JUSTICE!!!!" >:D

Posted 15 years agoI have decided after much thought that even though I would have the money and a room for Midwest Fur Fest I am skipping it cause there is only a handful of people I want to see there and also to avoid certain handful of people so I shall set some extra money aside and try for Further Confusion also because I really like the bigger conventions and from what I have heard there will be a lot more people that I know so to all that were hoping to see me at Midwest Fur Fest I am sorry gonna sit this one out. BUUUT!!! Either way I will always make Anthrocon since thats never expensive for me to go too...
