Man, i really need to get back into drawing stuff. its just like ive felt like i just dont want to draw or im to tired from work to do anything meaningful. I mean, i got all the ideas there, just not working on them. I use to go around coloring my old pics but that seems to have haulted as well. I think i need to just sit down one weekend *or vacation day* and just draw, or at least try to. Got several pics that need finishing, but i hadnt worked on them sense november. Dont know if i can call this artblock or not, but, im starting to worry i might no be in it as much as i use to be. I dunno, ill try something one of these days i guess. Just hope it gets me out of this rut im in.

well, i bought a new 1tb WD drive......and its not showing....just like with the 500GB seagate i RMAed last week. Im starting to get annoyed by this now. This is the second drive ive ordered through newegg that gets to me DOA or with some weird problem that keeps it from being formatted or anything. I have no clue what is causing this, or if its just a string of bad luck. Eitherway, im planning on sending it back.....again. Dont know if im going to order a drive through newegg or not...that and try to avoid using UPS as i think they love playing kickball with my parts these days. All i know is its geting annoying. If anyone has any ideas, im all ears.

well, turns out it wasnt the main drive, it was my barracuda *500gb 7200.11 version* that kicked the bucket. Taking a good number of games, movies and art programs with it. It still picks the drive up when loading, but when in windows, it doesnt load the hard drive. Even had to unplug it to make the thing go into windows at one point in time. So now its out, though, im relieved its not my new art drive, and extremely lucky i managed to get my pics off it a 2 months ahead of time. So at least theres that. Now, it looks like i can go on and but that 2tb hard drive i was planning on getting last month, just wish i had done it sooner. but hey, at least i still got my art, so its not all bad. just a few games and stuff that can be replaced, even the save files were backed up off the hard drive so i can restart from any point i left off at. So im all good for now.

Anyways, back to hard drive shopping. XD

welp....found out what was making that loud clicking noise whenever the computer was at idle. that or like malaka once told me: "windows 7 a timebomb waiting to go off." im thinking its a bit of both. guess thats what i get for not going ahead and buying me drives like i said i was. But on the bright side, other than a few directories and some character write ups, most of my other stuff is on another hard drive. so i didnt lose much. hopefully i can retrieve most of the stuff from that drive though. Anyways, back to reinstalling everything XD

once again, i sit here wondering why i have to put up with such crappy net. for the past 4 days this thing has been randomly dropping the signal, and to my knowledge, its either my router finally kicking the bucket, or our ISP's shitty hardware taking a dive again like usual. spent all day today and yesterday trying to make this thing work.....even succeeding in keeping it stabilized, but it finally gave out today around 1pm. IM thinking it might be our router as it had always given us problems, but i also think its the ISP's modem or theyre service period. This being Cable One, the cable company shows service will freeze if the wind was gently blowing. Theyre net service is laughable, but, alas, im not the one paying for it, otherwise id ditch them and find someone better. Still thinking about it as i want to separate the services a bit. Anyways, if im suddenly offline, or if im going in and out all the time, its because of my router/modem/ISP being retarded. hopefully i can get this sorted out before having customer service tell me what the automated voice told me already. its like they dont even try. anyways, thats all for now i guess.

why is flash under its own category when you can also select flash under the subcategories under artwork? Eitherway, thats not the problem. My problem is that once you select flash, for whatever reason it may be, there is no way to edit it unless you get it right the first time, or just simply repost the whole pic. This is annoying at times, specially if you mess up and post and then find out you posted it as the wrong thing, or, in my case, posted it under artwork, and in description misclick flash instead of digital art. Then have to redo the whole thing. Eitherway, its just one of those small annoyances with FA, that is to say......when im in a hurry or posting alot of pics at once. Or, you know....i could just...take my time and upload them, or wait until i get off work, lol.

yup, another year has passed, and i get older, lol. its also been a while sense my birthday was on thanksgiving day. kinda makes me feel special, :3. anyways, i think im gonna do like i did last time.....sit around and drink/eat shit til something better comes up or i hop in bed and go to sleep.

I said id do commissions, but when they came around...i kinda dropped the ball with them. Comp troubles killed a big commission i had going, so i ended up refunding it....two i never started work on *the deal was i work on them then get paid afterwards* and i never got back in touch with another commissioner. So all i managed to finish was one pic....one. kinda feel like i just gave up. I still have a few people that i need to get back to, but it seems like im never getting to that point. i dunno. maybe i shouldnt do them anymore or until i know i can and will commit to them. Cause right now..it doesnt feel like i can. dont know why. maybe i just gotta suck it up and work on them.

anyways, just thought id update the journal a bit. hadnt typed anything sense we were laid off. Ill try to draw more stuff as well. though, i seem to get stuck on one thing from time to time. Also been trying to improve on my colors, but it seems like i havent gotten anywhere with those. Guess i gotta work on it a bit more.

Ill let you all know when i think i can continue to work on them without going astray, or having comp troubles or anything like that.

seems to have had a bit of trouble today. While finishing a commission for sherly, my computer refused to save the file and locked up the hard drive it was saving to. I have sense issued a refund to him/her as i wouldnt likely to restart the commission again until i find the problem and fix it. Which leads me to wonder if this will affect any of my other commissions.
It seems like OC doesnt like to go over 14 layers, which i used to make the pic with multiple characters, so, until i figure this out, im putting a hold on any multi char pic that has more than 2 characters in it or thats not over 38xx size. kinda depressing to lose something like that. right there at the end and bam, comp just refuses to save and locks the drive.

Ive already refunded sherly's pic, cause im not sure if or when ill do it again. Ill try to work on the next one, but if the problem comes back up again, ill have to cancel doing commissions until a later time *though ill most likely be working next week so this might be permanent if it continues*

Ill try to work on some other stuff to see if i can trigger it, but it might just something random to happen. eitherway, i hope i can finish them without anything strange happening, though now, im kinda doubtful of it going without a hitch.

Might just save me some money and buy a new comp and get around all this nonsense of building one.

Going to start *or at least try to start* commissions monday. Trying to make a bit of money while were still laid off, plus get a chance to draw some other characters other than mine, lol. sitting here, not doing crap with myself sense the flood, so i thought id try to do a few commissions to try to help keep things going here at home *gas and food mainly*. I was thinking of opening 3 or 5 slots and doing both colored and black and whites. Been trying to get better with coloring so if you want a colored pic just ask *not wanting to use them as a test bed, lol*

well, it might a bit of a snore fest with my stuff for a bit, but im slowly drawing stuff again. Though, due to the storm, and cable one's incompetence, i dont have cable or net at home and using it at my friends place for a while. hell, it might be on as soon as i go home like last time...cable one is weird like that. why is it soo friggin loud? lol...well...not really, but damn near close. It actually surprised my dad at how load it was *he compared it to shooting a 3 inch mag shell from a 12 gauge. * Not sure if its the fact that its shorter than the actual 91/30 mosin nagant or the fact that the guy at the surplus store i bought it from gave me high velocity rounds *the only thing they had on the casing was 84 on one side and 21 on the other*. Regardless, its fun to shoot and the ammo is cheap. wanted to get the full sized model, and still might, but its hard to catch him there half the time.

anyways, in other news, ive just been slowly slowly doing stuff. Hadnt worked on anything sense i started work, but i need to take time like today to talk to friends and to draw stuff i need to finish. Got only 2 coms for that i need to finish and so far hes been very patient with me *though i dont want to wear that out*, but im going to have to set everything aside one day and just get to it. Plus allot of other stuff i said id do for people but some how ended up being on the back burner for some reason or another.

well, this is....unexpected. Guess ive harped on and on to my buddy about being a jobless loser too many times, lol. Was just sitting over to his place watching him play MoH, when i got a call form Simmons, and letting me know what all i have to do before being hired there. yeah, seems like mississippi has become part of tornado alley now....that or weve just been getting allot of freak storms lately. eitherway, this one was kinda minor, just a few tree limbs down and a couple of transformers were knocked out, other than that, things were ok. Though i really need to set some dos and donts for me. Ive noticed that when the weather gets bad, im either A. Looking out the window, or b. standing somewhere outside gazing at the sky like an idiot, only running when lightning becomes a real problem *as in,if it gets way to close to me*

1. never stare out the door when there is tornadic weather going on, you might get wet from the rain

2. always head the warnings from the sirens....though. half the time im either doing what im doing now or doing what i said not to do in point 1, lol
