Hey y'all, Bit of an update to things here at home after my dad passed on. His funeral was on Friday and it was better than anything I could have hoped for. He looked better than he's looked in nine long years which was so great to see. The Masons did their send off to him, then at the graveside he had a full military sendoff. I couldn't stop crying when taps played and the flag was folded.....
Still hard not to cry......

Mom is doing as well as to be expected. I honestly think she's doing better than I am though she's quite stressed over the bills that will be coming

At 12:00 noon today, my father passed away from a combo of congestive heart failure and a stroke. He had just turned 81 a couple weeks ago (he and mom had me late in life heh)

Mom and I are holding our own but it's gonna be a long hard road ahead for us. I am without a job and finishing collage and she is on fixed income. Still, we'll make it. Somehow

As the title says. Last friday my mother's heart rate went down to only 32. I had to haul her up into the cab of my van and rush her to the hospital in town. For a bit......I didn't think we were going to make it. But we managed to get there and the people in the ER were able to stabilize her and get my mom onto the road to recovery. It was not easy and we're still weighing our options due to the cause. But right now, I'm just glad she's ok.

I don't want to lose her....not now when our family is already fraying at the edges. Nevermind that I've been to too many funerals....I don't want to another member of the family being lowered into the ground ;_;

I'm sorry about being absent in recent days and weeks but please understand my golden rule: RL always comes first.

Hey guys!! I'm just about done with chapter 4 of Dawn of Change! ^u^
.......after 12 re-writes....and gutting over 5,000 words.....

So, in case you've not seen, I've started a series called (so far) Dawn of Change. This came about due to an awesome RP between a very good friend and me and has sorta taken on a life of it's own ^u^
It honestly feels good to write again and I'm finding it easier with each chapter I type. That said, I still make a LOAD of mistakes, which is why I approach the wonderful people of the community for help and general advice.

Overall, still trying to become more active on here......It's a WIP ^u^

So, tonight on Halloween, my house was hit by a small tornado apparently (According to local news networks) Got some minor damage but we're all ok.

I guess that's ONE way to be tricked on All Hallowed Eve eh?

Soooo.....yea. Just got home day before yesterday from a two day stay in the hospital. Was a NASTY intestinal infection which got into my blood. Needless to say, I been out of commission for about a week or so. >.< Ugh, I hate being sick ;_;

So....yea, um, I guess I should start out with this: I'm sorry. for anybody that's met me here or on SL, or on discord, you've most likely noticed that I am quiet....like, all the time. I rarely talk and when I do, words are sometimes confused. *sigh*. To put it bluntly, I'm a shy person by nature. And to make matters even worse, my spelling is absolutely awful due to a mix of shitty teachers growing up and dyslexia so....yea. This is nothing against anybody, hell, the ones I know of and talk to are kick ass! I just.....tend to be a ghost most of the time -_- I don't mean to be and I am certainly better than I once was.....but I got a long way to go.

In other news: My old comp blew up.....No seriously, I had a room full of smoke and a small fire. The cause was a crappy PSU that when I researched it, it was a Chinese referb and a shitty one at that. Took a few weeks to get my new rig....and a few thousand in cash....but I'm back up and running! So YAY!
