Posted 2 years agoI think I am giving up on Krita; it is a nice program with good features but one key feature I use in my drawings is not intuitive to use in the program. Thankfully Clip Studio Paint offered a perpetual license for their 2.0 version so looks like I will be sticking with that.
A Word About RPs
Posted 2 years agoThis has been bothering me for a long time and I have avoided addressing it (thank you brain for the irrational urge to please others at the expense of myself ) but I am going to say it here. I don’t like RP anymore. I used to love doing it and meeting people through it but over the years it has become more a chore than anything else. I still like talking to people and getting to know new folks but I do not have an interest in RP anymore. To the people that are wanting to play I am sorry but I need to start caring more about my own mental health. Will my stance on this be forever? I don’t know honestly; I do reserve the right to change my mind in the future but for now I am not interested in it. Thank you for your time.

Life Changes
Posted 4 years agoSo it has been a busy couple of months here and a good portion of the activity surrounding that came to a head this week.
First:
and I got married. It was a small but sweet ceremony at the local courthouse. We plan to have an actual celebration with family and friends once the current dumpster fire that is COVID dies down and more people have access to the vaccine.
Second: We bought a house. We finished the closing process yesterday; this was a very time consuming headache but worth it. Now for the process of moving in and setting it up.
Third: I finally qualify for my first dose of the COVID vaccine; I will be glad to get this out of the way.
More things are coming down the pipe in the near future. Hopefully things will slow down a bit by the end of summer but we'll have to wait and see.

New Year
Posted 5 years agoJust putting this out there; this year I think I want to do more art for myself and not drive myself crazy drawing so many gift pics. Not saying there won't be any but there will be fewer than previous years.

Posted 6 years agoI just got the grade on my research paper, 95%; this means I have more than enough to pass the class regardless of the score on the final exam. So I am done with the bachelors degree now!

Posted 6 years agoOnly two more weeks of school left and I am done. Finished. Free! YAY! In other news, in about 24 hours I will be on a flight to Canada for the Thanksgiving holiday!

and hung out with 
, Pandosham and TimberWolf. Ran into several people like

and Boomer Badger; got to play board games in the game room, hear terrible Sonic fan fiction and attended some good panels. Also, I loved the poutine bar they had, was very fitting with the theme. Now back to reality and my statistical problem solving class that starts Thursday, along with my regular work week.

Posted 7 years agoJust an update: AC was awesome! Despite some health issues and minor car issues on the ride home it was an awesome convention!
In other news I finished my summer class at the end of last week; final grades came back and I made an “A”. Now to try and relax a bit before the summer is over.
