Hello FA!

Just realized it'd been awhile since my last journal, and there's a handful of updates I thought might be relevant!

First off, I'm running a new laptop, and Windows 8! (Thanks Shadda!) It runs beautifully compared to my old laptop, and I'd be hard-pressed to go back, but it doesn't support my ancient tablet. Not surprising, since it's practically an heirloom at this point, but it's off-putting to go back to mouse drawings. I'll see if I can fix my old laptop; hoping it just needs the fans, vents 'n heatsink cleaned out.

Also, it looks like I might not be working as many hours this Fall. I'm hoping that translates directly into more time spent working in traditional media, or digital once I get tablet functionality back up. I'll just let the posts speak for themselves.

Lastly, LEGION! Looks great, thinking of resubscribing, just not sure when.

Hey guys, I just wanted to wish you all a happy thanksgiving! I hope you're enjoying your time off with friends or family! And while I'm at it, I thought I'd give you an update on the life of a prairie-wolf.

Right now, my current schedule is set to madness--between applications, exams, and finals week all coming up fast, It feels like I barely have time to take our German Shepherd, Dante, out to the park anymore. Work also runs on the same semester schedule, which doesn't help, but really most of my time at this point is going into class projects.

It's really tempting to get away from it all and resubscribe to WoW, what with Warlords of Draenor coming out and all, but I'm holding off until around mid-December. The new character models look great, and I loved BC content, so I have to admit, I've been looking forward to it! It looked like a great time to jump back in, until I started hearing about the issues with server capacity, bottlenecks and glitches. So...I'm actually happy that I'm holding off on it for a couple patches.

Also, I know I still have a couple of requests pending; I haven't forgotten, I've just been a little overwhelmed with life; helping a friend move and get her place fixed up was just the start, but I should have them up in a few weeks. I've also been wanting to experiment a little with some new traditional media, and I wanted to gauge interest in them once I have a few pieces lined up! So you can expect Pokemon, pinups, and ponies, done in pastels, markers, and watercolors! At least, that's the plan.

Meep, I'm so excited for the release of GW2! 10 day countdown now. >:D It looks like I'll be playing on Jade Quarry with a few others. But why'd it have to release on the same weekend that my classes start! D:>

Oh yeah, in other news, I'm back! I made a short weekend trip to visit my family in Las Vegas. I'm skipping the photo-dump, but needless to say, I had fun! Even if it was delayed/shortened because I was getting over a cold that was going around, it was totally worth it.

Ratrix and Zayth, you two are coming with. =D

Well, It's that time of year again, time to start stacking up those dinner rolls, and hope to god they only go on your plate. :B

I'm heading out to Reno for a short holiday, leaving in a few hours, against my better judgement. I've been busy just about around the clock on most days, but I think I should have enough time to join my family for a few days. I mean, how could I miss it?

In other news, I think I'm hooked on MLP FiM. I blame all of you on FA for the awesome fanart! I've gotten sucked in!

Califur 2011 was sooooo much fun to attend! I met so many friendly and awesome people over my 3 days there, and I had a blast! First, I'd like to thank for having me over during the con -- if it hadn't been for you, I couldn't have made it! I also want to give a shoutout to for just plain being a cool guy. Seriously, you metabolize monster into win! >=D

Also, I was utterly SHOCKED to run into the sweet while I meandering through the con! It came completely out of the blue, but finally meeting you totally made my weekend. Hope we can get in touch sometime again! ^^

EDIT: I'll be here another day and night before I get back home. It's always such a strange transition post con. I couldn't come away with enough photos, goodies or memories.

Okay, now that I got that out of my system, I've discovered my tree's peaches are in fact delicious! And they're the cutest things, too - they're only slightly bigger than cherries.

This summer should be great!

Also, It looks like I'll be going to Califur this year! n.n

I didn't hit the ground running after this weekend getaway at all, and now I'm a bit under the weather. Buuut, I got out of class early today, and I was able to take a day off from work to recoup. ^^

I had to play Cata, and so far I'm loving it. I'm still levelling my druids, but it's been fun so far! I'll see how far I get until Spring semester starts. I've had a busy holiday season with my family, leading up to New Year's... but I'm going to see what I can post anyways.

I had been looking for a good novel recently, before picking up Watership Down. Excellent book! I'm going to have to watch the movie and pick up the sequel Tales from Watership Down, as well as His Majesty's Dragon.

Anyone else have favorites they'd like to recommend? ':3

Whew! After months of working on and off as a tutor, my job is finally starting to stabilize...and actually keep me busy! It's a relief, even if it doesn't pay much. It's kept me on my toes, but more importantly it's also looking promising for the semesters to come.

I know I still have a few requests to catch up on - you're not forgotten. I'll be posting some of my more recently scanned sketches, and see where I go from there.

Also, to those of you who wander Azeroth with me, I no longer have the resources to commit to continuing in-game. This old clunky desktop that's barely hanging on won't be able to run it soon, and the next months look even busier than the last. So I'll have to leave that for another time.

Hey guys! It's the end of June, and I'm loving this summer!

It feels like the end of my spring semester has just been a new beginning for me! I've moved across the city of LA, and I'm finally starting to get settled in, even though there are so many repairs still to be done around the house. I'm closer to school, but further from everything else!

This summer means an art history class, swimming, and a summer job. It'll come...eventually. Until then, I'm going to be enjoying the sun and the water.

Also, look for more posts of a few sketches. I never update enough. I've kept at it, but the challenge for me has been getting past the sketchiness, when perhaps I should embrace it. Anyways, hope you like what I have! :3

Ah, I haven't posted a journal here! I guess this is as good a place to drop a bit of a ramble on as any. And a fair place to start.

I've been talking with Tao and Vortus about my recent life. I'll be moving again to a fairly distant part of LA, so I've made arrangements. I've started college in that area, staying with my family. But I'm getting tired of such a transient social and academic life.

It'll be my fifth college in the last 3 years. I'm starting to get tired of trying to meet people when I feel like things aren't going to last more than a few months. Still, it could be worse.

That aside, I'm looking for a new realm to reroll hordeside on!
