Holy crap somehow I've made it to 100 watchers.
Posted 10 years agoFirst of all, thank you. I know I don't have nearly as many watchers as some people, but you're all amazing. I'm motivated to keep going every day because of you guys. I don't talk about them too much, but I've had some rough days and every time you guys were there for me, knowingly or unknowingly. I've made lots of great friends on this site, you mean the world to me and if you weren't here I don't know where I'd be right now.
If you're watching me for my art, thank you so much! I know I haven't posted much art made by me in a while, but I'm still practicing, still learning, and I hope to post more. (Actually I stream art and games on Tigerdile quite a bit!)
If you're watching me for the art I post that's made by others, please be sure to give the artists a watch, they deserve all the praise. Leave comments and let them know what you think, a small compliment can really brighten someones day!
I wish I could offer a giveaway of some sort, but I can't right now. I do however have a giveaway that is still ongoing! If you'd like a free game just leave a comment over here and it's all yours! http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6539838/
Thanks again guys, you're all seriously awesome people.

MFF 2015
Posted 10 years agoIt's a tad early to announce this, but I wanted to confirm that I'll be going this year. As long as everything continues to go the way it's been going I'll definitely be able to attend! Anyone else planning on going, I'd love to meet ya!
Good day at work :)
Posted 10 years agoHad some technical things I needed to get done for about a week now and needed some help to do it. I got the help I needed and everything works like a charm. I'm so glad to get that weight off my mind! How are you guys today, I hope things are going well for you too!
I feel sick...
Posted 10 years agoI'm not sure how to feel right now.
Because of how things worked out, I have a job where I occasionally work with a family friend. Today was one of those few days. I was busy doing things in a back room when the family friend came in and thought he smelled something, sure enough he moved a rug over and there was some cat poop on the floor. I didn't know there was a cat here; because this was a business, not a home, I just assumed it was a feral cat that hung around, I never actually saw it so I can't say for sure. It wasn't a bad mess or anything, easy to clean up. All the friend said was "I'm going to get rid of that cat." I didn't think much of it, I figured he just wasn't going to let it inside anymore.
I kept working until I was finished a while later, and as I was putting my stuff back in my car he told me, "Oh hey, there's no more cat."
I just looked up and said, "Oh?" kind of wondering exactly what he meant by that.
"Just keep that between us alright!"
I just feigned a smile and a laugh, said okay and waved goodbye.
This really bothered me. It may have been a feral cat, but it was still an animal that was in a place it thought was safe. It made a mistake, (a mistake that could be fixed with some training or by just not letting it inside anymore) and was killed because of it.
Please remember this is not simple. There are reasons why I haven't said anything about this to anyone, I don't want to list those reasons here. My conscience doesn't agree with me at all, but I can't say anything... I'm conflicted, I really am. It's something that you always see other people talking about and you just tell them to do the right thing, but when it happens to you you realize how grey that line is and doing the right thing isn't easy.

Holy crap I had an awesome dream
Posted 10 years agoI was in space soaring around all the planets as a space panther, it was amazing. The planets were beautiful and and the stars were all glimmering in the distance. It was one of the coolest dreams I've ever had!

So I think I just created the best thing ever.
Posted 10 years agoMy friend and I spent the entire night and a good portion of today working on a special video that will be officially released at the end of the month. We worked on it nonstop and died of laughter throughout the entire thing until we finally deemed it finished just a couple hours before noon. I woke up from a 3-hour power nap a little while ago to get our 28 gig video down to just under 300 megs in preparation for youtube. I want to show you guys so bad, but it has to wait. I'm really sorry for the tease, I'm so excited I just had to tell you all about it!
Also I'm still giving away several great games, here, if you've already gotten one, but really wanted another on the list feel free to leave another comment on that journal!

THE GREAT VIDEO GAME GIVEAWAY!!
Posted 10 years agoSo earlier in the week I said I was going to give away a couple games from the humble bundle, well I ended up deciding to giveaway most of them. (Not all, I did keep a couple, but most.) I'll list them below with brief descriptions so if you're unsure what a particular game is about you'll be able to get somewhat of an idea about it.
RULES
Leave a comment on the game you want and I'll give you the key, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! NO RANDOM WHEEL SPINS!
Games I'm giving away:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut (PC)
I never finished this game, but I really enjoyed it while I was playing it. You play as a cybernetic security guard in the year 2027. This game has a lot of fun, but very difficult stealth missions, which you can just ignore if you want and shoot everything.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (PC)
I'm actually pretty interested in this game, but I thought someone else here might be able to put the proper time into it that it deserves. It's a top-down shooter, I believe it plays a little like Diablo, but there's a lot of puzzles to solve and just a lot of fun to be had. If you have a friend that has this game you should try out Co-op!
Startopia (PC)
You control a space station and you need to build it up to be an awesome place for aliens from all over the galaxy to visit. It looks a bit like an rts from the videos I've seen, but without the combat, perhaps like rollercoaster tycoon, but without the rollercoasters.
Tomb Raider (PC)
This is the game that rebooted Lara Croft and made her awesome again, I loved this game to death. I definitely recommend it, it's play style similar to games like Uncharted. (ALSO HAIR PHYSICS WHOA)
I'll also be giving away Hitman: GO (Android game) if I can figure out how. I have it and it's a ton of fun, it's a puzzle/board game, very different from a normal Hitman game and it plays incredibly well. Let me know if you're interested and I'll see what I can do.

Shout out to an awesome artist: Frett

frett really has some amazing work in their gallery. Her art floors me whenever I see it, she really does have an incredible talent. If you have the time, please go give her gallery a peek!(Be mindful that her account is mostly nsfw right now. I have seen her make many clean works before, she's moving accounts and they just haven't been uploaded yet.)
Upcoming video game giveaway!
Posted 10 years agoIt's been a little while since I've done one of these, I've wanted to do more, but I just haven't been able to. I know for a fact that I'll be giving away at least two games. The first one is Tomb Raider (2013) and the second game is Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Directors Cut, both games are for the PC. I'll also be giving away Hitman GO for Android if I can figure out how to. These games are from the latest Humble Bundle and since more games will be added to this current bundle I might be giving away more games depending on what they are. There is also a chance that I'll giveaway another game or two from the current list of games if I happen to just not want them for some reason XD.
Link to the bundle in case you would like to purchase it for yourself or just look over the games I'm giving away: https://www.humblebundle.com/#
There is no set date for when I'll do this, just keep a lookout for my next journal. Unless the extra games aren't added by then I will give these away this Saturday, THE LAST DAY OF FEBRUARY. All you'll have to do is comment on it and let me know which game you're interested in, I'll give you guys a couple days to comment.
As of right now I'm keeping this giveaway strictly to my current watchers. (You guys are so awesome and I want to give something in return for your awesomness!)
Completely unrelated, but I also have some art I've yet to post, I can't wait to show it to you all!

Posted 11 years agoIncredibly thankful.
Posted 11 years agoWhile not everything went like we wanted them to, there were still wonderful moments that we all had and will remember forever. The past couple of years I've seen people go through many hardships, things that seemed to be insurmountable obstacles, and some of you are still going through them right now. But all of you have kept going and persevered. All of you inspire me every day, to keep going and keep working no matter what happens.
I'm incredibly thankful to have found such a wonderful community and, even more wonderful, friends. I hope you all have a merry Christmas and happy new year.
Please have fun and be safe over the holidays, I'll see you all next year!

Post con report!
Posted 11 years agoSo MFF was great! I'm at the hotel right now and leaving supa early in the morning to hopefully beat a nasty storm, I figured now would be a great time to write a bit about what all went on.
I was able to spend about 90% of the time here with
Dlost who was incredibly awesome and sorely missed when they had to leave a day early, if they weren't here I wouldn't have had nearly as good of a time as I did. I also hung out with
ksharra and her friends in there AMAZING executive suite. We played a ton of Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Bros WiiU (Which I ended up helping beat the very last level of!) It was surreal being surrounded by such great artists. I recognized a couple people, but I'm so awful with names that I can only really name K'sharra and Strype. It was like being in a room full of movie stars and you're just kind of like, "I don't belong here" XD But everyone was super nice!
I also had the chance to meet
Onu who was super sweet and awesome, just wish we could have hung out more.
I didn't expect to feel sad when this all ended, but I do. I'm going to really miss the people I've met, I just hope I can make it out here next year and see them all again.
Edit: I also meant to talk a little about the Chlorine leak there was in the hotel last night.
I was not in the hotel when this happened. I'm staying in the hotel across the street and was completely safe.
At about 1am on Saturday night someone broke a jar on the 9th floor filled with chlorine. 19 people went to the hospital. They had to evacuate the entire hotel, which I believe was around 3,000 people? (Someone correct me) The convention center next door was opened to allow people a place to take refuge and nearby hotels not only let people in, but also paid for ambulance and medical bills. (Except for Embassy Suites, they did not let anyone in. They were the third closest hotel to the convention and it would have been wonderful if they had opened their doors, but for some reason they refused, it really angered me.) Firefighters said that the chlorine levels in the hotel were so high that it was maxing out their meters. One of K'sharra's friends was in the stairwell where this happened, but quickly held his breath and left the area, other than that all the people I mentioned I met and their friends are all fine.
Considering what all happened I think the emergency responders did a wonderful job and were able to start letting people back in the hotel by 4am. Everyone had late bedtimes, but no one died. I wish all the people in the hospital well, I hope most if not all of them were able to return to the con the next day. Chlorine is a nasty gas, and whoever did this could have killed hundreds of people.

I'm off to MFF!
Posted 11 years agoTomorrow I begin my loooong trek to Indiana, where I'll pitch my tent and spend the night. I'll wake up bright and early as to not have a fee applied to my hotel bill for staying past the checkout time and then drive the final two hours to MFF. In total it's about 10 hours. Thankfully due to some last minute changes I was able to get some hotels to stay in on the way there and back so I wouldn't have to drive all 10 hours at once.
I'm hoping to have a blast and meet some of you lovely people. If I can get around being shy of course... I CAN DO THIS!

Mid-November Update.
Posted 11 years agoSo for the past couple of months my activity here has dwindled and I haven't been keeping up with you guys too well. I plan to change that over the course of this month and next.
Only a couple more weeks left until Midwest Furfest and I'm extremely excited to go and meet the few of you that will be there. This is going to be my first ever con and I have no idea what to expect, I hope it's awesome! I'm going to have a long 10-hour drive there. I'm mainly worried about there being ice on the interstate and people making sudden lane changes, I'm really hoping I have an uneventful trip.
What have I been up to? I've been working at my new job as the IT guy for a fairly large company, so far it's been really great, in fact I'm there right now! The days I don't work I spend at school and working out a bit. I've been getting in much better shape, it's also been making me want to be more productive and get things done.
Also, I went and saw two movies this past week, Interstellar and Fury. Both were wonderful. Interstellar is an amazing sci-fi movie that takes you places that I've always wanted to see in a film, but everyone tries to avoid and it was nice to see their take on it. Fury is a war movie that really resembles Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. It takes place deep within Germany near the end of WWII, be warned though, it's gory, I saw two girls leave the theater a little after the first really gruesome scene in the movie :p
I hope you're all doing well, I'll work on being more active here, I've been in my hole long enough XD. I will be posting up more art, but probably not until next year. Right now all my funds are going towards MFF and afterwords I'll be getting another art piece from
Doebey that involves my character and two of
areddpanda I'm really excited for it!

I broke my tablet :c (also camping trip)
Posted 11 years agoI put in on the floor and it ended up not being "out of the way" enough... When I plugged it in it just spazzed out and for some reason it repeatedly left, right, and middle clicked.
Good news is it was only $50. I originally got it because it was cheap, I didn't know if drawing digitally was something I really wanted to do at the time so I figured I'd start cheap and move up from there.
More good news is that my new tablet is on the way. I was looking around ebay when I found a brand new intuos 5 and I was able to nab it for $242, about $100 off the price you would have to pay if you bought it directly from Wacom. I'm really excited to try it out. I want to see how the pen feels on it's surface, my old tablet was great but I think I'll like the silky smooth feeling the new one will have. Also my old one was a bit loud if you had to do a lot of strokes quickly.
I'm going camping on Wednesday! I'll be headed to the smokey mountains and I can't wait! It's really nice to be able to get to spend some time away from things. I will be bringing my computer with me, but once I'm actually at the campsite I wont be able to access the web at all, not even with my phone tethered to it.
I'm also going to bring my camera and work on a sequel to this video:

I got a new job!
Posted 11 years agoA couple months ago I quit my job at a grocery store chain that most would call "Piggly Wiggly" others like myself would refer to it as the "Slaughter House". It was a lot of manual labor, work that caused back pain, and bosses that weren't afraid to yell at you over the smallest things. All of that wonderful stuff for only minimum wage. Before I quit I was given their mail route position. (It's a small thing I do on Monday's where I drive to the different post offices and deliver ads that will be sent out through the mail the next day.) So far that hasn't been too bad, not the best pay, but it pays the same as working two back breaking days for only a tenth of the effort.
Well today I was offered a new job. My neighbor wanted me to meet a business partner of his so I could get some security camera stuff set up on his ipad, he was also wondering if I could help with another computer problem he had and so I took a look at it. The last guy they talked to said that it was, unable to be fixed and they would have to wait it out and the problem would eventually go away. Well about an hour after I got a hold of it the problem was gone and I heard the words, "You're hired."
Coming Monday I'll be going back to talk with them to figure out my schedule. Until I'm unable to continue it, I'll still be able to keep my other mail job for some extra income.
I'm really excited about this job. It's something that I'm interested in and will hopefully lead to even bigger opportunities. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers!

Making a thing. (Good grief, finally!)
Posted 11 years agoI've had an idea for a short film for over a year. I ended up not making it last year because the weather got too cold and planned to wait until this summer. Well I'm amazing at procrastinating, took my time, thought of some hilarious ideas for the film with my friends, but never made anything of it. School is 23 days away and I suddenly decided to get some work done.
I've story-boarded the film and sent it out to my friends so we can go over it, plan to get together and film this thing.
So I have questions for you guys.
Do you like action?
Do you like love stories?
Do you like odd humor?
Do you like car chases?
Do you like boat chases?
Do you like car chases inside of boat chases?
Do you like breaking into the 5th dimension? (Or knocking and asking to come in is okay too)
Do you like ninjas?
(answer below... pls)
Also I need a name for it. If you guys suggest some, I'll propose them!
(Seriously though, would you guys be interested in watching a 5-10 minute film?)

ligax and
mochacorgi are in need of support.Ligax is nearing the end of her school semester and is absolutely swamped with finals and commissions. Her tablet is nearing the end of it's lifespan and if she can't get a new one before it's too late her primary source of income is gone. She's asking for donations because she's extremely busy, but will be making gift art for those who can help.
Here is the original journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5967810/
Mochacorgi is in a pretty rough situation herself and she's running out of options. Her hours at her job are going to be drastically cut, severely hurting her income. She is asking for donations and is offering a fursuit auction to help with payments.
This journal will explain more: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5961008/
And this is the journal referring to the auction: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5966677/
