I dont understand how peoples numbers just spike compared to mine... theres someone who got 100 in less then a month drawing certain things...

Another yiff artist i kept an eye on had numbers jump from 3k to 48k in 3 months...

I shouldn't really compare my numbers to justify my worth but im gonna use it to drive me. and my quality.

I've seen other artists go from 1k to 40k in 3 months but im slowly getting somewhere! thank you everyone >A<

I wanted to get project zomboid for my circle of friends so we could finally try it together its like 4-5$

I could do quick ych and even do some other things but i chose to rest so I can work hard on some projects next year without any excuses

I'm starting early on my new year plans and start working hard on projects and focusing I'll start by working on my side of a comic called Chubby naked warriors owned by  himegoto123

Once I'm done with that I'll be working on a new comic that's still in its early stages. researching stage.


After during january I'll be opening commissions and YCH's even short comic ych's if im comfortable with my skill to save up for a new PC to make work smoother. my goals are around 15k pesos which is like 300$+.

I'm visiting my mate's home and staying over for a few days. I'll be working on stuff during the night time when his cafe is empty XD 30 minutes till closing .u. happy most my stuff is partially done so i can focus on character translation.

Idk how journals work some people treat them like social media *shrugs*

turned out that the CPU fan died and tripped the power supply to shit itself off. I was right! .u.
now to pay back my dad someday for buying the new fan <w>

Pc suddenly shut off with a smell of burning wires few days ago.
I think its the power supply or motherboard or maby a fan died and tripped then tripped the power supply to emergency shut off.

My father will replace anything that's damaged but I plan on paying him back someday but I told him not to bring it into repairs until I come back from a little vacation to my masters/mates house because I gotta figure out what really broke so we dont get ripped off.

So that's the news pulling my hair out installing everything back .w.

I’ve been told and reminded that I’m always rushing my progress and over thinking things like my interactions with people and my view count on some art sites. I think I should try to be more open about them and just improve at my own pace like my master says.

Of course this wont stop me from sketching all the time or making art when i feel like it...

Well....I'm doing commissions!
my reason? to be able to afford a cheap laptop so i have something to use before my pc dies
It'll be used to to back up my work on my visual novel and also so I can work when i stay at my master's house or while i sit in his cafe with him. I'm kinda nutty when it comes to art now so it's all i do all day.

My computer cant run any games since as mentioned before it's dying
(some memory problems and video card is a few years old)

Also once I reach my goal of getting a laptop the rest of the money i make will go into my visual novel's music budget since I'll be commissioning some music fur artist. and no there's not a single dick in cuddle cafe. but there's gonna be a lot of art of it once its out X3

I've been learning a bit of the renpy code and have made the decision to add the following systems

Player stat system
currency
relationship levels up to 5 or 10 still needs to be decided


The main sources of income for the player will be his part time job and tips

I have yet to make any progress on the art since I'm kinda doing everything @@

Oh well it wont get me down...

So... I feel like the whole reason I've been putting of working on making a commission sheet or advertising I'm open for commission work is because of a fear of it...

I have only done a single commission which was for a fur website background which is not up yet but I feel tense just thinking about working with a client that might be too vague or unresponsive or anything really...


How do other artists do it? could you tell me your process? anyone...?

My goal is to make art and make some money on the side, to show to my father that I'm working hard trying to improve my art to prove I'm serious about going into an animation course.

School is still next June, So I need to make the most of my time practicing and learning about art and animation so I'll excel...

Right now I'm confused on what to do... my short term goals are all over the place with practice.
Often I interrupt myself telling myself I need to get a drawing out so i gotta stop practicing and just make something while the opposite happens when I do start making something....

I'm so pumped to learn but at the same time I'm conflicted with putting out art for views,critique, and contribution..

I'm sure everyone's already aware of this but I always looked for professional lectures online with out success till i learned to just write "college lecture" or "course" in the search bar .o.

I've been looking up some character design lectures and I never thought about using basic shapes like squares or triangles to start out with stuff... i usually just do the mannequin and then give up feeling bland and generic .w.

Hmm I have till next june to start my education for an ACT animation then move to IT after that so maby i can get a professional career involving programming/games/design/stuff

On my way to all that I'll be doing commissions once im ready! or maby do ych before commission stuff!


Onward to my goal of becoming a professional!
