Hi Everyone!

Sorry for a very long absence, and hello to everyone from Furnal, new and old! I hope everyone had a good time and pet all the greyhounds!

I am trying to be a productive artist this year, and a better artist about actually *sharing* said art, so please look for updates in the coming weeks. :)

I have been sculpting and trying new things, and am trying to get back into the groove of drawing and creating that way as well, so lets see where this takes me.

Late late journal! Real life has been a bit of a whirlwind, but I wanted to pop in to say thank you to everyone who stopped by, it was a lovely convention, and still one of my favourites to attend. :) Quite a few pieces found new homes, and I hope those that adopted them enjoy them as much as I did. Up next is Anime North! I will also be attending Con Bravo to help some friends (Homemade Horrors, Portly Possum and Lemoneewonder), though not selling, as I did not make the cut. Better luck next year!

Lots of uploads coming the next few weeks, for realsies this time. Hunt me down if I don't.

If you saw me last year, I will have more of the same type of stuff people enjoyed last time, but in a much nicer display, and some neat new things as well! Lots of stone pendants, some more couples sculpts, and some pokemon surprises and new pendants and creatures that I will reveal later - some won't be posted until after the con, so sneak peaks to those attending!

If there's anyone looking for a commission they can pick up at the con, please let me know, and I will try to fit you into my sculpting schedule. Please let me know prior to March 4th, as that will be down and dirty crunch time!

I will be making some new pokemon sculpts, and I'm curious- what would you guys like to see? And animals you'd like to see get more attention in art?

Sorry for dissappearing for a month! Had a bit of series of unfortunate events that kept me alternately away or without a computer, and without any warning for me to notify watchers before hand, but I am back now!

Sort of.

I have some changes in my life that could turn out to be big changes (good ones, no worries!), that will also keep me busy until I find a new equilibrium. If you have contacted me about commissions, don't fret, you are still on my list and you will get your critter, it may just take longer. Please be patient with me during this period.

Ack! I thought I had posted a journal with update details for you guys, but apparently I never hit create! I apologize. Here is the copypaste part that is still relevant.

Hey guys, long time no chat, and now we have a deluge of new info for everyone.

I now have a twitter and facebook account, so if you are interested in news or watching me babble as I work, good place for either. Both are works in progress, so please bear with me. :)

And final note- I have been very busy with an illustration job this month, but as that is finished now, I will be hard back to working on my commission que as well as working and experimenting with my art. You will be seeing more from me soon.

I will be at Anime North with Lemoneewonder from May 22-24! I will have lots of new stock and a nice new display, so pop on by if you are attending and say hello. :)

This also means that I won't be able to take on new commissions until the con is finished, but if there is something you are interested in, just send me a note and we can still discuss it. If its a pre-existing piece, I can still mail things out, and new commissioners can be put into my post con que and I'll get to you as soon as I can. If I have already contacted you about your place in que, not to worry, your stuff is still being worked on amid all the con things. :)

Just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who stopped by! We all had a wonderful time, and if there's no con overlap, I am totally stoked to return next year. This was by far and away the nicest con I have ever sold out. Everyone who stopped by was nice, courteous, and friendly, the con staff were wonderfully on the ball, and the atmosphere was just nicely chill and utterly lacking that constant panic most cons have always under the surface.

Hey guys, two bits of news for today-

Thing 1- LemoneeWonder and I will be in Toronto on Sunday December 14 from 11 to 5 selling our wares. Come on by and say hello at this one day only con! :)

Thing 2- This is a last call for anyone who would like to commission something for Christmas. Please note me by November 26 if you will need something by Christmas, as I cannot promise it arriving on time after that date. If you would just like to purchase something that has already been made from my gallery, please be sure to let me know before December to avoid the mail rush at the post office. We all now how cluttered everything gets around the holidays! I can still send things out in December of course, I just will not be able to promise you it will arrive by December 25.

Hello everyone! Fan Expo is finished, as are cons for me at the moment. I will be posting up my remaining stock in the next few weeks, and am open for commissions again to anyone who has expressed interest.

I will be at Anime North from today until Sunday in Crafter's corner with LemoneeWonder. I'll have some of my old stock and a whole slew of new stuff, mostly pendants, which is a new thing I am trying out. Hope to see some of you there!

A quick note on the same point as last year's- for those of you who have been eyeing a piece or a commission they might like to get someone for Christmas, the next few weeks is when you need to talk to me to get it to them on time. I can still make things after November, but please be aware they will likely not get to their recipient until after the holidays.

A quick run down of more commonly requested commissions (all prices do not include shipping, and are in Canadian currency):

Dinosaurs - $15-$20

Birds - $20

Dragons - $20 - $30

I have made a tumblr! Yes! Go me! I can't use my penname, but I have a tumblr! Half a victory dance! Still counts!

I'll be using it to post comics, doodles, musings, and photos of bitties- the ones I usually don't get to post in the showcase pics, but that I think look great. I call them beauty shots, because that's what they're pretty much there to act like.

Since starting this account, I've had a lot of inquiries about possible Christmas gifts. If you were one of those people, please contact me within the next month if you are still interested. If you would like your order complete and shipped out to you or your loved one before the holidays, now would be a key time to arrange things before I get swamped. I can still make things after this month, but will be unable to guarentee their deliverary before December 25.

All creatures can be made with more complex sculpts and paintjobs for a higher pricepoint.
I can also make jewelery now, and if it is not listed as sold or otherwise not for sale, anything in my gallery is available for purchase.

I take payment through paypal in Canadian currency. Paypal has an easy way to convert the money for you, so that's not a difficulty.

Me and my bitty things will be at FanExpo 2012 (Toronto, Canada) this year! I will be bringing all my current stock, plus a few things that haven't been posted yet. Thank you also to fat-birds on tumblr, who I was informed by a friend had featured the bitty Cockatoo! (Seen here: http://fat-birds.tumblr.com/post/29.....bittythings-if ) I was wondering why that one got so much more love then the other birds. Well now I know!

First off, thank you to all the people who stopped by LemoneeWonder and my table who bought something, or just had something kind to say. Thank you to the few people who recognized me from DA as well, that was pretty cool! It was LemoneeWonder's first con, and she did totally awesome, and I was super jazzed for her! I did well enough to come back next year, and while I did not make enough to splurge, I did make a nice little profit. :)

I'm in the process of moving so it may take me a week or so to get back on track and properly update, but I've been trying to keep the status of availability on each submission up to date, so anything listed as unsold is probably still up for grabs.

I may be offline and unable to respond for a few days this weekend as I switch locations, so please be aware of that as well if you are trying to get a hold of me. I will respond as soon as I am able to though!

Thank you to everyone I met or who came out to Art-O-Con. It was an extremely fun time for all, with lots of great artists, the awesome Ontario Ghost Busters, and the just as awesome Doctor Who society of Canada and their real live rolling talking exterminating Dalek. A big thank you to Jaded Dragon Studios for putting it all together, and to everyone who bought from me or stopped by my table too.

Next up we have Anime North from May 25 to the 27 in Toronto. Hope to see you there!

This Sunday on May 6 I will be part of Art-O-Con in Burlington, ON, from 12pm to 8pm. I will be bringing all the work I have in stock, as well as some pieces I have not yet had a chance to post. Art-O-Con is run by Jaded Dragon Studios, who I did my co-op with, and is their first time creating and running a show.

There will be lots of artists, a computer display of systems dating back to the 70s, Storm Troupers, Ghost Busters, a Dalek, and lots more fun. It's $5 dollars at the door, with Kids under the age of 12 getting in for free.
