Frequent Journals yes? No? Oh wait you... no wait....
General | Posted 10 years agoHold on hold on, you mean to say it's been years and despite using the site I've never really bothered posting much? Huuuu~ Perhaps it's because my life's been busy too much, or maybe not busy enough and I fill my time with unimportant things to pass the time. I Think though that i should probably, truly start looking for some friends, pals, run amok online and do silly things like I've seen so much of like on some youtubers (yes, I went there), or those buddy-buddy jock types. 'Course, being a nerd/geek may or may not make that harder but hey, someone's gotta start somewhere.
Why post this in a journal? Well, for one, to actually write something. It's not, mind you, being put here to find friends, just a statement that I think I should. Any advice would be nice, if there's some all-important tip I should know about, and everyone knows about, but doesn't get circulated much. Yes yes, grasping for straws. Hay now....
Anyway, this dragon'll continue lurking as he always has and see what comes his way. Grrrawr, over and out.

On Tuesday the 11th of October 2011, Athus was involved in a severe car collision that ended his time here with us. The 29 years of his life were filled with amazing stories, incredible adventures and outstanding creativity and talent. He shared his love of life, affection for others and sense of humor with many wonderful people. In memory of Athus and his special life, his closest kin have created a website for others to share their experiences with Athus as well as share photos and artwork. An email address has been established to send your wishes in to be posted on the site athus@athusnadorian.com. Thank you for your kind words, love and support through all of this. Remember to love life, hold your friends close and have a little fun - Athus wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I've never had a chance to actually meet Athus, nor any of their close friends that I know of, aside from iceman, of whom I've had the pleasure of attending at a helpful panel this last year at Anthrocon. But know that this person had reached out and was known by many, many people due to his talented creativitiy.
I may be no one in particular, but there are many like me that share our condolences at the loss of such a person. Our hearts are with you and your friends and family at this time.
