First of all,I wanna let you guys know that I'm doing fine
for now,I'm on a small vacation and will be heading back to work in the US Army in a week and a half. But for now,art! ^^

I've been scuttling around the furaffinity and deviantart pages for a while now,and I'm seeing a lot of artists doing these little auctions called "Your Character Here" or YCH for short. So,just to give you a heads up,I am still alive,despite some small activities here on deviantart and furaffinity. I have some sketch pieces I have yet to finish on my weekends here in the Army - but I am doing well ; I have been working out all 5 days a week,been losing some weight steadily,and as well as working hard to get at least a promotion in my first year here in the US Army >w<. All in all,I am doing fine =)


In other news,I am starting to work on my current story,"Protocol Dogma".
You all know I am making this story,as my own reboot to the old animated series you may or may not remember,"Road Rovers". As some of you may have read about what my story is about,but in case you don't,Protocol Dogma is basically a darker version/reboot to the old Tom Ruegger animated series : this darker version is basically a comic-book materialized version - more heroes,more villains,more conflicts,and more importantly,more character development.
It's no secret that I love comic books to my close friends (both in RL and IL) but in case you don't know,I love comic books...xD
But I'm not the kind to like one franchise over the other : such as DC over Marvel,or the other way around. In my opinion,I'm both DC and Marvel =3. "What does this have to do with the topic?"....everything,really :v

Marvel and DC has incredibly awesome superheroes,super-villains,and as well as the situations between the two factions.
Marvel has a few visionary writers that project some awesome action sequences with an excellent chemistry of characters,both hero and villain.
DC,on the other hand,has some more interesting characters : For example,most of the heroes and villains aren't exactly heroes/villains with superpowers,yet still considered as such and such >w<.

So,where am I going with this?
Here it is!......................................

I am considering on starting on my "Protocol Dogma" comic book series.
Despite my love for drawing military,special forces,black operation drawings/pieces,I'm considering to going back to my comic book-loving self,and start on a new story with vast character development and situations between our group of heroes,and an army of villains.

In case you guys aren't familiar with my series yet,here's a summary of my protagonists and antagonists :

-Scale : a black scaled komodo dragon,whom was born with a slight birth defect - making him entirely black scaled. His IQ reaches up to 220,making him a dangerous extremist mastermind.
- Knight-Owl : a former peace politician,turned psychotic and justice thirsty. AKA,Jason Edwards,was met in an event that led his life from tragic,to bloodthirsty - vowing of not only vengeance,but also vowing to avenge the justice that "America has thrown in the abyss and left it to rot itself". I hope to get started pretty soon - I don't like to place a date or time just yet,because with all the work I have here in the Army,I don't know if I'll be able to get started right away.

How're you all doing?
Just to make a reminding,my last journal stated that I enlisted in the United States Army a few months ago and be less active around the christmas break....well,I graduated Basic Combat Training (BCT) is which no longer called "Boot Camp",last month on February 6th,and I am enduring through 8 weeks of AIT - Advanced Initial Training,meaning I have to go to school for my picked job in the US Army,which I am going to be a Unit supply specialist : meaning....well,I rarely do anything,besides type in and print stuff and ship out items to any unit who are either in base or prior to deployment.

So far,I am in week 4 - 4 more weeks to go,and then I get a 2 week rest back home! ^^

But it's just to let you know,that since we keep our electronics in our barracks (and IN our barracks only),I get to work more on my art while being on personal time ^^


I also want to mention something else
I am almost completing the storyline for "GUNSMOKE",even though I have a bunch of ideas that could expand the universe,and have started on another story - I mentioned this a while back to you guys,mentioning that I plan on making a reboot on a short-lived animated cartoon series some of you all may be familiar with,and some may have heard of it. A small series called,"ROAD ROVERS". A group of chosen anthropomorphic canines that are set to defend the world from villainy.
My little story is a much darker reboot to the animated series :
"PROTOCOL DOGMA"
Set in a much darker,and more mysterious world - a different world than "Road Rovers",where a secret,covert operations,(hence the title of the story :v) where they fight terrorism and extremists,in close combat and in tactical warfare. Though,not sure you all are aware of this...but when it comes to story making,I always focus on the characters : just because I draw military and involve special forces,is not because it's cool looking (even though it is),but everytime I design some characters,I keep thinking of backstories for them - meaning,what? I always focus on characters - not just war or the amount of weapons I can count on the top of my head (which my drill sergeants found impressive),but with the environment or the situations that can create character development - change their outlook and maybe change the game plan in the battlefield/or story,making things hella interesting.

Before I announce the prices,I have something to say...
After a long while talking with my parents,speaking about this to some friends of mine,here in DeviantArt,FurAffinity,and outside of home,I have come to a conclusion...
I have enlisted in the United States Army

Yep,I've gotten the papers ready for them,all is set in their computers.
I'll be shipping out of here on November 5th to South Carolina for my basic training for the next 9 weeks.
Though I will be coming back during Christmas break and New Year's day with some new stuff coming in.

Though,here's the thing : In the US Army,around this time of the year,they allow their recruits to come back home during Christmas break,going home to their parents,loved ones,friends,relatives,the good stuff back home. I'll see if I have some time to draw or sketch anything in my free time throughout my time in basic training,anything to show you guys that my love for art hasn't changed =)
The training in the Army isn't so bad,despite the drill sergeants and the obstacle courses - it's something that will help me become independent,strong,and not to mention,in top shape =D To be honest,I'm actually looking forward to when the day comes for when I ship out. Sure,I'll be nervous when I get on the plane to leave Florida and to basic training...I might even cry when I have the idea of my parents seeing me,their only son,growing up and getting a future,leave them for a new life that the US Army will help me change.

I've also talked to the people whom I have submitted my paperwork to - my pay grade seems pretty decent,getting paid twice a month sounds pretty neat =]
I know it won't make me rich - the military doesn't make you rich,obviously. It will help me get through to some things,paying for my food,my clothing,my equipment,etc etc. Though,the more I work,the better the chance I get promoted. And the more I get promoted,the more cash I'll be receiving. I might even save some for some occassions,like visiting other countries! I might visit some places,like the United Kingdom,Germany,Italy,Norway,Sweden,wherever! I don't know if I could visit EVERYWHERE outside the US,but the thought seems REALLY nice,so I want to keep that in mind ^^

But all in all,it will be an experience I want to endure,just as my dad and sister did - it seems scary to change your life at first,but when you take small step-by-steps,it won't be so bad in the end =)

just to let you guys know (in case you don't) I'm still alive! ^^
I have some unfinished work to tend to,but I won't be uploading them for the weekend. Reason why is because I won't be online much,due to the week of 4th of July.

We are currently planning and packing our bags,getting ready to head on out to North Caroline to visit my sister in the US Marine Corps base. We'll be leaving tomorrow at 6pm and maybe arriving between 8am or 10am,depending on the traffic on our way. I've already packed my shirts,shorts,socks,pairs of underwear/boxers,and as well as my supplies for drawing ^w^. Not to mention that since it's going to be a long drive,I will be bringing along with me some DVDs to watch throughout the drive. But most of all,I will be drawing throughout the trip,depending how bumpy the roads may be - from Florida straight to North Carolina,so I'm hoping the roads would be smooth enough that I won't mess up on my drawings OnO"

We are,however,bringing our touch screen tablet and laptop over there in case,such as checking up on the nearest shopping stores,mall,tour spots,restaurants,or maybe a GameStop for me (since I am getting into Team Fortress 2 recently x3). For your information,no I am not dead just because I haven't done much activity here in DeviantArt and FurAffinity - I've just been damn busy with life for the moment : doing alot of school work,getting my credits done and adding them to my required credit to graduate high school,adding more hours to my school community hours for my graduation as well,recently attending to my Grad Bash to Orlando,Florida last week on Saturday - which was MIND-BLOWING AND AWESOME!!! I mostly rode on the roller coaster simulators,because to be honest,I'm too afraid to ride on the ACTUAL roller coasters because I have a worst case scenario that the seats for the coasters may not be so secured that I wouldn't fall off it. Or that the stuff in my pocket or my recommended glasses would fall out and the ride would crush them to bits. Or the fact that even though I would eat hours before getting on the damn thing,I would vomit out a waterfall that I'd lose 10 ibs. so NO THANK YOU ROLLER COASTERS =/

I just went on the "The Simpsons Ride","Despicable Me Ride","E.T ride","Dr. Doom's Drop",and as well as attending a concert from musical guest PITBULL - he made an awesome appearance and an excellent concert for the rest of us seniors. I rode the Despicable Me ride twice xD.

Also,the community hours are doing fine,having no problems whatsoever. Just got back from a Florida International University (FIU) tour. We went to Taco Bell/Burger King afterwards...I ate two Chicken Quesadillas and the Mountain Dew Baja blast xD



As for my art progress - it's very,very,very,very,very,very,very........very,very,very,very......very slow.
Reason why? Well....LOOK ABOVE THIS SENTENCE 8/ XDDD
But seriously - the art making is slow,but I made a buttload of WIPs I have yet to finish - most from GUNSMOKE,STAR FOX SALVATION,but more on JEFF & SCRUFFY comics and some random doodling. I also am writing some notes for my untouched project that involves between Samurais and Cowboys - so far,nothing yet. Speaking of projects,if you guys remember me uploading a teaser for a futuristic "GUNSMOKE" project,that is currently put on hold,due to the fact that I didn't like much on the design of Michael having a mechanical arm even though a few of you liked it. I am still working on the story plot and the events,not to mention the story for the main villain. Good news and bad news :
Good news is,I FINALLY FINISHED MY COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!!!
Finally - I get some time off and finally finish some unfinished sketches I've been doodling for the last month and a half in school xP Not to mention to finish up a commission at the time!

Though...the bad news is - we've been called up by the owner of the apartment me and my parents have been living for quite some time : 8 years to be exact. The owner of the apartment we currently live in,called us around late after Christmas 2012 and had a long conversation/argument with my parents...he plans to kick us out of the apartment. And with that,there is no place here in Hialeah for us that's available for rent : house or apartment. But that's the thing,there are several signs "For Rent" in our area - they cost too much though. And another thing we worry about is the spaces in the rooms for the apartment/house,or how clean the environment is. More importantly,how close or somewhat direct to my high school is,that way it won't neither complicate the time between me with school work and studying for my upcoming SAT's,nor would it complicate the work hours for both my parents. Not to mention the way for us to move all our boxes and for our relatives/neighbors/friends to come and lend us a hand in such...And as insult to injury,I STILL cannot find a single job that can take me for part time - even the crappiest dollar stores (no offense) won't even hire anybody during this recession...

But at any rate,we'll try and keep thinking positive about this. Hopefully something will turn up in time...before the end of March....

GUNSMOKE
Every story has a start for everything - including World War II where a Nazi experiment has gone wrong and has been the main key for starting a war where power is the most wanted for those who are determined to get it. In the alternative 2011,a few heroes are asked by the CIA to head into the heart of Mexico and retrieve "assumed lost Nazi blueprints" before Russian KGB agents get to them. The 2nd season takes place 6 years later,which will result to the next Global Conflict - all other nations become quiet and ark after a codename has been heard throughout the news and world wide web and now hide in fear...CODENAME : BLACKMORE.

STAR FOX SALVATION
Setting after the events of "Star Fox Assault",the Legendary and heroic team "Star Fox" has been dishonorably discharged and disavowed by the Cornerian Council and banished from the Lylat System after Peppy Hare was investigating Planet Venom when he knows it is out of limits to set off on that planet. 2 years later,Fox McCloud,Krystal Fox,and Falco Lombardi enlists in the United States Marine Corps and made some new friends,despite many others hearing of their discharge,even though it was "out of no-where". Good news and some bad news :
Bad news is,I won't be on for a couple days - throughout the weekend in fact. Unfortunately at the last minute,my dad had announced that tomorrow on Saturday morning at 6:30 am,we leave to North Carolina - but it's just me and mah dad only. I'd like to take this moment to say,thank you so much for your comments on telling me on my birthday yesterday,October 21st

I am really grateful of you guys to remember my birthday,few of you giving me your piece of art on my birthday!! As for my current "GUNSMOKE" project,things seem very well made,though the script writing will take a while to finish,since I made ALOT of seasons and chapters,including other chapters serving as the Aftermath of BLACKMORE'S WAR,and as well as that I previously wrote a journal involving the futuristic setting of GUNSMOKE,which the title has been under development hell - but time has been passing and my brain has been rattling up good pieces of the puzzle on the Future Saga of..."GUNSMOKE : Forthcoming"!!
It's late October 2012,there's still more to come for the teasers until I release the official characters,settings,plot,and as well as the three antagonists I mentioned earlier...!!!!
