Hello creatures! Thank you for your patience and apologies for being quiet in this last period. I've wanted so desperately to put out more of my writing and I've felt guilty for just having art updates so many times! Even if my art has joy and charm to it I know that it's my writing that always hits hardest, especially when it comes to my beloved themes of transformation and mischief. I ended up getting all tangled up with perfectionism and feelings of having failed as I struggled to manifest my writing in a way that felt like me. But that's no way for a good creature to live, so I've been determined to work through it. Whether it's from removing more distractions or just taking more vitamin D, I've been able to feel writing click again, and it's making me so happy to actually feel like myself again. The only problem is that I just got hit with Covid right as I was ramping up and finding my flow. Even with the brain fog I'm still feeling it flow better than before though, so I'll likely have some updates sooner rather than later depending on how my brain congeals.

ANYWAYS I don't want to just make excuses or ramble about my mental health, I mostly wanted to thank you creatures for bearing with me as I've been working through this as well as taking a moment to outline some of my plans for future updates. I'm going to post my art more frequently without fussing about metrics of descriptions, but I'll be limiting my platforms to bluesky, furaffinity, patreon and a new telegram channel. I'm mostly going to keep things simple just so that I can be more consistent about sharing. As for my writing, I'm going to focus on posting some new microfics (if anyone remembers my 750-1500 word stories I kept making ages ago) and warm up to finishing some of the older, more ambitious stories that I got stuck on earlier this year. The key for me is really not to worry so much about making things "the best" and to allow them to be gloriously imperfect. Sometimes a bit of campiness can be more charming anyways. I'll be starting off with some catch up posts of art that I drew while I was hibernating, but over the next week I'm also hoping to post a few new short stories as well. I felt a bit silly only posting pdf files before, so I'm going to post writing in more of a directly viewable style, like this journal. Larger stories I'll keep posting as .pdfs though.

Thanks again for following me and showing so much support, I have no idea how I would have kept going without it. I've felt so spoiled by my audience and I'd love to pay it back by sharing so much more of what brings me joy to create.

Hello lovely creatures! I'm finally getting my artwork and stories organized and submitted to galleries. I'm going to try setting up a queue that will make it easier to deliver a new post every day or two. I know it's been a long time coming but I have a tremendous mental block over this, it's been a challenge I didn't anticipate as much as I should. But really this is the next step, just show off everything I make properly and keep a curated gallery. A side effect of this is we might have a few reposts. Bear with me, or just pretend it's something new and surprising.

Oh yes, especially with my stories, I'll be reposting many of them as edited pdfs, since I've tinkered with a few of them and not shared the new versions yet. Most of the posts will be artwork but I have a bit of a backlog of writing here too, oof! Either way, exciting things ahead, and thank you all for your support and feedback, it nourishes and gives me courage :)

I'll admit, half the reason I haven't kept stories up to date is that I feel a bit stymied by the upload system. I used to create elaborate thumbnails but every time I didn't have the energy to my stories would just go unnoticed. But I honestly just don't have the energy to create fancy thumbnails when I have so many things to upload! And FA has such specific formatting requirements that don't line up with other websites...

Hmm, I think I'll start regularly uploading stories but using a new generic thumbnail instead of unique ones for every story.

Hey folks! Apologies for the quiet the last period, I hit a bit of a wall for a while and I really didn't have much energy to keep checking FA, let alone post on it! Ooghhhfff... I actually do have a heck ton of art and writing to share, so I would really like to get off my tush and start updating y'all!

Anyways! Yes, I'm planning on taking some more writing and art commissions! I'll be honest, moving was really expensive, now facing transition expenses it's getting to be quite a lot! TF stories, character stories, stories invoving odd situations, gamebook inspired writing or tales of charming pokemon creatures. I've been very inspired lately, and now that I've settled in to a new home and have time to myself I am eager to create the kinds of stories I WANT to write!

For writing, I am offering fully edited stories at 35 USD per page! About 7 cents a word. I will aim for such stories to be anywhere from 1-8 pages in length. I set these lengths as a minimum to aim for, so any amount I go over your initial request will just be a lovely bonus. If you would like a story please message me with a brief outline of what you'd like to see, themes and character(s) you want to see. After I've seen your request I will reply with an outline of how I want to build your story and then get to writing!

For art, I am also taking a new round of sticker / art commissions! These will be drawn in a 1024x1024 canvas with an abstract background and include a transparent .png sticker file that is compatible with telegram. These are 40 USD each! I will upload some new examples, my style has been improving since the last ones I uploaded.

Hey folks! Just poking back in. I am excited to share that I have submitted a patreon page for review and it will be going live soon. Hey folks! Gosh, I've had a lot of anxiety about what to do regarding getting back to posting on FA. I can't even really begin to untangle it, but suffice it to say I am going to be reactivating this account and tidying it up so that it feels like home again.

First off, literally everything in my gallery is going to be committed to scraps. That's just how it is! Goodbye! Frankly all the stories here feel like written by effectively a different person... I cannot even begin to describe how much of a journey the last few years have been. So I will be preserving the stories for posterity but I won't be featuring them in my gallery going forward. I did spend some time reading over what I had written before and really... Gosh, it's odd how much my voice has changed, even if it is clearly an aspect of the same person.

To be honest, these weird feelings have prevented me from really facing how to post on FurAffinity or really share my writing at all... So much of what I have been doing has just been personal, and I will push myself to find the courage to share it.

There is good news as well. I got a certificate in creative writing from Concordia University, I really pushed myself forward as a writer and I'm feeling prepared to put myself out there and make a serious career of it again.

Anyways! All that aside, I have really been going through a lot. I have become a lot more open about my therianthropy and my vulpine nature. I'm sure it will influence what we will see going forward.

Hey folks, thanks so much for your patience the last few months. I've been finding myself out and rediscovering my voice, why I write and how. I'm keeping the stories I've already posted up for people to look back through and I've come to terms with them even though they're a bit weird for me to go back to.

Anyways, I've been plugging away at writing again and that includes finishing up a few commissions that got left behind with all the chaos. I'm feeling really happy to be back in the seat and while it's been a struggle to feel satisfied with anything I produce I've noticed a pretty significant jump in the quality of my writing. I'll be posting new stories and exploring new galleries to post up soon, as well as taking some new commissions once I've finished everything that I currently owe.

At any rate, I hope all has been well with you. I'm glad to still have new followers and watchers despite the recent dearth of content. I really appreciate all your feedback and help. So yes, in short, thanks to all you wonderful watchers out there <3

Hey again folks!

So life has been a real whirlwind and the more I figure myself out the more that I have been realizing I just need to be true to myself and let things happen as they come. There's so much going on with me every day right now and I'll soon be starting a new job to aid in my transition. Currently unfinished commissions will keep being finished and posted as time goes on, and once those are done I will just write my own stories as I find inspiration. Commissions WILL be opening soon enough, I just need time to figure myself out and get settled into my new writing voice.

That aside, I wanted to let you all know that I'm waiting off just a bit before tidying up my gallery. I'm going to hang on to a lot of the pieces that represent who I was, and even some that I haven't shared with anyone yet... I never wanted to hide good art or stories, I was just never comfortable with myself and I experienced huge anxiety submitting things without realizing why.

Anyways, scraps is going to get mostly scrubbed and I'll be tossing out a few pieces up in there that I am unhappy with but I'm going to give it a bit more time before reworking my gallery just to get my feelings under control a bit more.

A lot of the art I wasn't sure of I'll just be moving to scraps so nothing should be disrupted.

Hi folks! I have so many things I want to talk about but there really is just one major thing...

I'm a woman!

And through all my transformations, that is one thing that has never changed and is never going to change. It feels so unreal to just not be feeling constant stress, hurt and tension over keeping my real self hidden. More than anything I am just happy happy happy and working myself back and bridging connections to see what everything else means now that I feel openness and self-actualization. It's just insane how much effort things took my whole life just because so much of my identity had to be performative. But now it is all just spilling out of me an my creativity and confidence have just been brimming!

ANYWAYS all that aside this is a pretty old account and while I've trimmed it a few times I'm at the point where I've realized that I have absolutely zero attachment to a lot of things I've submitted, especially art. It's not that I dislike it or feel any sense of shame or despair about it, I just have absolutely no connection to it, just as I felt no connection or ownership over my self and any of my identity during that period. Opening up about being female has also totally changed how my brain responds to a lot of things so I really need to start fresh and get a feeling of control over my own submissions.

If you want to back up any Images that I've posted, here's what will be being removed at the end of the week (Monday November 5):

A few of my oldest stories may be edited and reuploaded

Hello creatures, characters and citizens of the multiverse! It's been quite a while, hasn't it? I know that I always had a habit of coming and going when it came to updating my galleries but it must have seemed more like I fell off the face of the earth for a while! Truth be told, that's just about what happened, I had some pretty major personal setbacks and I sort of collapsed for a while. It left me feeling like I should just disappear, start fresh or find some different approach. I was left with a feeling of deep inadequacy, like I would never be able to get back to the point that I used to be at. And beyond that, I struggle to seek help from others even though I'm always quite willing to burden myself with the issues of others. I mean, that's often the way of it! Solving other problems is often so much easier than looking in deep and figuring out oneself.

The FurAffinity community and general furry family have been so good to me over the years that I feel guilty for not giving back as much as I should! Whether it's writing or art or anything inbetween, I live through creativity. I've had some very lovely people pestering me almost constantly to get back to producing and sharing my work properly and I'm sorry that it's taken so long! I'll see how it goes going forward, but for now consider this a promise to regularly produce and share what I'm doing going forward. I know that there are quite a few people who have enjoyed and invested in my stories. To those people, and to everyone that has helped me out along the way. Thank you!
