Back from a lovely time in Ireland
Posted 16 years agoLast weekend i went away for a short while gonig on the stag weekend with my friends i know and keep close contact with. One of them (bless them) is getting married so we ended up gonig across the irsh sea and have a good time over there.
Dublin was the city we ended up staying and i have to say what a lovely city it was, it was clean, fresh and suprisingly how friendly and helpful the locals where and not only that we all had a taste of great irish beer too, even guiness the pint i'm not usuall fond of seems to taste better over there and was drinkable.
While we where there we also went round many bars as well as haing ago at Karting (which i proudly won the race :3)and Paintballing. While we where walknig up we made our "stag" to where bright green lepricaun suit through town center. It was interesting at least and even the locals took it in good heart. Although the poor guywas made and easy target in painballing though (bruises on his leg afterwards look painful ^^)
Furry wise i decided to spend time donig a couple of sketched while i was there one i just published yesterday the other is in my sketchbook for now until i improve the detailing a bit.
Hopefully do more sketches this week and may get back doing lycanthropes series again since i left it on the back burner for so long.

Tough week before changing Track
Posted 16 years agoWell those who like in UK are probabaly well aware of listening to Radio 1 where they do a part of a show for their changing track after listeing to stories. for me i kinda had one myself for today esepcially when things has gone horrible wrong :<
First of all i have missed a good opportunity in life...(for personal reasons i can describe exact details). what happend was there was something i have been after for a while but rather and grab it straight away i desided to hold on and wait to assess the situation waiting for the right moment before i could take it...but sadly i left it too late since it got taken away from me :< i never felt so heartbroken like this before since i have been after it for a while only then to hung back far to late and left it slip away. It hurts when you missed an opportunity :<
Second of all Family wise it has been rather strain lately especially involing meand my step dad especially whenhes telling me all this bullS**t which is not true and pblaming some problem on myself which is very harsh, i want to move out, butfor finacial reasons i couldn't
then the third thing happen was work, just nearly two weeks away until i go on holiday all in the sudden i got piled up with prjects, not only that i also have a major customer complaint regarding electronic drawing problems even though it has nothing to do with me (i do Mechanical drawings)
things been llooking down until i got some encauragement from Loz Swiftwolf, not only he helped to pick me up a bit trying to cheer me up he alway gave me some inspiration for the drawing which as a gift i have done for him (thank you), while i was drawing i heard my changine track which made me feel good about myself and that was Linkin Park - New Divide. Its an awsome track which is made official to be used for the next tranformers movie: Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen

Posted 16 years agoWell first of my 6 weeks of fun is out of the way after having a great time in bradford taking part in the LPPL interleague cup.
It was a huge event squeezed into the bar where 14 teams and 117 people participated in the cup that was consisted of three rounds, league, playoff and heads up.
Round 1 started very well where our team managed to finish joint top in the league round with our fellow rivals the Lincolnshire North, meanwhile in my table i had a very tough table only manageing to get 6th not helped by stuggling with big hands failing to be cappitalise against a couple of agressive players, thankfully my team pulled together and rakedin alot of points for finsihing strongly on the tables.
Round 2 was the playoff where it was split into the final two tables hoever things didn't go our way in the start as playing it tight seem to have backfired esepcially against Hull team where despite starting with the lowest stack was playing ultra agressives that help to blead everyones chips on the table, although we fought back strongly making the right desision, we was unable to continue after having harshes of luck. in the end finishing 5th overall.
Round 3 we did not partcipate sinceits down to the final two team, Hull (the comback kings) vs Lincolnshire North (agressive rakers), in the the Hull ended up wiinning the the Head up and thus becoming the interlegue champions.
Well after the great night the celebratuons continue for us since we are happy where we ended up considering that there where several rookies in the team for the cup (including myself) that pulled of the suprise, and ofcourse we drank all the chapain at the end of the night.
Although i managed to et a couple of hours sleep until i got woken up by the rest the team who desiced to invade our room waking up to drunk as a fart team mate naked ontop of me O.o() giving a WTF moment.
other than night it was a great night out, still tired since i not had much sleep + recovering still from consuming huge amount of alcohol. So nw as my liver recover...it will soon get punished again next week for my work mates part >_>

Posted 16 years agoWell things been getting along ok for me lately since i started writing again and gradually weening myself into art, its been great since now i been two my first furmeet and met new friends everything is getting smoothly.....gradualy.
However from tomrrow and maybe 5 or 6 weeks onwards i know got my paws tied up, every weekend i will be doing something traveling about from seeing family and friends, parties and tournaments.
First of this weekend starts with my first major national poker game where i will be participating in Live Pub Poker League Interleague championships where i have been selected to be represents and be part of South Lincolnshire team. Its great that i have been selected although very nervous since its the furthest i been in, not only that already i had seen the table list where i have two national champions on my table O.o one of which i have known from playing poker inthelast few weeks online. but it won't be so bad its an excuse to have a good day out at least ^^
Second weekend its my workmates party where its all about party and booze and alot of fun
Third weekend i will be visiting my older step sister sinc ei have not seen here for a long while also shes trying to drag me around the bars too to try and have some fun ^^()
Fourth weekend :- Stag weekend since my good university friend is going to get married and we are going to travel over to ireland where we will go paintballing, kart racing and gonig out and a razz to get absolutly last so he can have his last taste of free dome (bless him)
Fith Weekend:- Poker Regional Finals, yes its poker again this time its regional finals that i (only just qualified) for by becomning venue chapion at my local pub, i already set myself a target to try and beet my best position of 13th from 4 months ago, only this time i'm trying to go one further.
sixth Weekend:-The last of my manic weekend (maybe) where i will be gonig to Nottingham for a furmeet and hopening to meet more new friends as well as well as meeting up with others i known from lincoln meet :3. Also i'm very looking forward to see

Heya all currently now chilling after having a great day at the furmeet at my home town, there was about 17 of us that turned up and we had a nice walk aroun brayford pool, university and good walk through the town. Its great to meet new furs few quiet and many crazy ones hehe:p all in all it was a good day and great fun looking forward to go to another possible meet.
