So my birthday is this upcoming Tuesday... How do I celebrate a birthday on a Tuesday? I mean, how lame is that? Not looking or asking for anything, just taking suggestions.

Well, try as we might, and as much as we thought it was going to happen, Yuni and I simply can not put out the finances needed to do AC. No artist alley, art trades, no dinning out, no room parties, no kings, no con. To all of those who I already said "I can't wait to see you there", my deepest apologies. I hope the best for everyone that is going, be sure to have fun for us.

As some of you may know, I've been pretty busy for a while now. And, well... it's starting to really get to me. For over 6 whole months it's been one thing after another. School, holiday traveling and expenses, drama, hospital trips, moving, cleaning, work, more school, and just about every other little thing that could have popped up to slow me down pretty much has. So it only figures that as soon as I start to getting g really close to catching up, and dare I say, getting ahead... travesty replaces the casual inconvenience that I've grown accustomed to. I'll spare the horrible details, but once again the lose of a loved one takes its toll upon my family and me. I hurt, not solely for the of some one that I really did enjoy having around, but for the more damaging effect that it's had on one person who was closest to them. It's just getting to be so damn hard. I'm becoming ever so hard to just keep on truck like I have for so long. And the more I think about and share it with some of my friends and family... it seems like its hurting more, and digging up old pain with it.

But nothing is stopping, I want a break but really don't see one in site. I'm so used to the bombardment of shit thrown my way and carrying the weight of others that I don't know how else to look at things.

Nothing can really be done at this point. I'm just being selfish. The people I'm helping g need my help, so I can't just stop. Some things just need me there to be done and helped with... but as a selfish plea, as stupid and pitiful as it sounds... just even a few kind words would be appreciated.

Update: Thank you for all of your support, kind words, and encouragement.

Today we held the funeral service. Not an easy time, but we're grateful that laying him to rest did help grant us some closure to this whole horrible event. We will all miss him, as he was a wonderful, vibrant, kind, and loving person. I would divulge more information, but I don't believe it is my place to do so in such a public manor.

Otherwise, I feel a good deal better. I talked with some of my family members, one of my closest friends, and of course Yuni. Just talking with them really did help out a lot of lightening up the load that was on my shoulders.

Of course things are going to start having to go back to a normal pace... and by that I mean me falling behind due to missing pretty much all week from school dealing with the whole tragedy and supporting and just being there for my family. Again, just knowing that I have even a few friends here who can share some kindness with me is enough to make me smile again.

Well, I'm sure many of you have not seen or heard neither hide nor hair of us for the most part. Well, that's because we always seem to be busy as hell. This month of course being no exception. School started up for us again, a change up at work made things crazy, our car died, and on top of that, we moved to a new bigger home... and I mean bigger.

The good news is at least that when and if we ever get free time, we have a brand new art studio (room) that's bigger than our last bedroom even was. I wish there was an icon to show how pleased I m with the space we have to do our art in now.I might just take a few pics or a quick video tour of our studio.

And by wisdom I mean teeth. I had my lower left wisdom tooth removed today. I say removed, because it wasn't just pulled. Nope, the anchors were too deep and hooked in too much. So they had to drill, cut, and break the damn thing. 7 pieces at least I think, I only saw 4 pieces laying on the tray when they were done, the dentist told me there were more pieces (pointed) over there.

So, I got to the office to met up with Yuni so she can take me to get my meds. By now it's hurting bad, an hour plus oral surgery of having a tooth drilled and wrenched on will do that. So I had Yuni give me two regular vicodin (1000 mg). Pain was still only getting worse. I get my new scrips with Extra Strength Vicodin and pop in one of those bad boys... 30 min later, the pain is only getting worse still. So I pop in 200 mg of ibuprofen and a Tylenol (opps).

So yeah, no love for the Vicodin any more. Need something better.

Went back out to the mid-west to see some friends and family for the holidays with my and had a great time. But, now I'm back in Arizona and resting up for a return to the mundane and non joy inspiring work week and routine. Oh yeah, the back story:
Hackers hacked their way into one of the University's email systems. It was one of the Universities that does the environmental studies to examine the effects of CO2 and other carbon emitions on our planet/global warming.

What they found in the e-mails was lots of conversations back and forth about how they were blatantly lying. Change the temps to higher temps to show a climb in temps, fudging other facts, talks of how to hide certain information, I think even the phrase "We can't figure out why the temperatures are going down." or something to that effect was used. I mean, all sorts of "interesting" altered facts and such.

So yeah, decades of being told our pollution was going to violently cause our own demise... not so much.

How?.... My neglect and inability to stay true to my commitment to be open and available to people.

I stated before that anyone could feel free to contact me on msn, more so for if they had questions regarding fitness... but maybe all of once a month I'll actually go on that account, and it's not for more than a few minuets at a time anyway.

Yuni and I left work early so we could get to our class early and finish our work before it was due. Well, on the way there, the car finally breaks. We bite the bullet and agreed to drive the crappiest car of all the cars... a 92 Saturn Grocery Getter/Station Wagon, and of course it's a stick shift. Speaking which, as it is a stick shift, it's not longer a stick shift... it's a stick... but no shift. 1st gear is all you get out of this piece of shit. Not sure if the tranny blew everything but first gear, or if the clutch died. Either way, didn't make it to class. Our instructor (not being so great), I'm sure will not care about the circumstances behind our late work, so points will be docked... she's docked points for less/her own mistakes.

Also, for those who don't know, this is the weekend for my birthday... kind of hard to go out and enjoy oneself when you can't go out. So, I'm not sure if my whole weekend is fucked, most of it, or who knows what. At least I'll be able to stay home and do home work *Twirls finger*. Oh yeah, no house hunting either without a car.

If not for the fact that I'm at least stuck with Yuni, it would be a total disaster.

Okay, so here's the scoop. Breakfast has been getting kind of hard for me to fit in with my morning schedule. I do a protein shake when I first get up to stop an catabolism, but still need my whole food high protein breakfast which is usually an omelet. Well, with everything I like to put in my omelet, it seems to take too long.

So, starting today, I decided to cut a few corners and just do the eggs raw. 4 raw eggs is still the same 32 grams of protein (or 24, depending on the size of the eggs).

Believe me, I didn't just watch a Rocky movie last night and say "Hey, I should do that." I did go online and do some research. There is no big health concerns. Salmonella is about everyone's biggest concern, but really there is only about a .003% chance of contracting it from raw eggs, and even less of a chance if the eggs are organic. Also, a risk of a biotin deficiency (a b vitamin) from the egg whites, but if you eat the yolk too, it should have more than enough of that same b vitamin to correct it and prevent a deficiency... or so I've read.

Some of you might be saying "Eww, gross". Well, I was worried that it was going to be like that. And honestly... not so much. I'm not gonna lie and say it taste great, but really it didn't seem to taste like much of anything at all. I could best describe it as a shot glass size drink that seemed to taste like 1 part olive oil, 2 parts water.

The only thing that did bother me was the texture of the yolk. Somewhere between yogert and pudding, but still a bit different.

So, does anyone else do or tried this? I think I'm going to start making it a regular thing for me. Lot's of the pro's have done it, so I hope it will work out for me too.
