My cat passed away a few hours ago
She was just a few months short of 20 years old

I'm feeling like ass right now, like, really bad. I've not spoken about it here compared to Bsky, but it's been long expensive weeks recently, lot of money spent on medical stuff for my cat, plus all the waking up very early to care for her, then the multiple hospitalizations

I'd appreciate some nice words if any are available to me. Maybe y'all can say something you like about my art?

I don't know, really not my place to ask people for their time of day to make me feel a bit happier

I've already talked to my clients about this, but just letting you all know I'm currently juggling homework grading, art, sharing the PC (sadly), trying to find some me-time, and also taking my cat to the vet again and all the vet visits, plus her meds and such daily

Spent about 635USD so far

My cat has just been hospitalized and will be undergoing a battery of exams

She's never been really *away* from us like this, so I'm hoping it all goes well. Tomorrow I'll go there to see her during visiting hours.

So I hope you all understand if I slow down a little on art, if my mood gets a bit too sour to do that. I'll still try to do my job, but, you know.

I'm officially on vacation from work until January 16th!

I might stream games, I might draw for myself, play with friends or just sleep... get some of that sleep I lost throughout the year.

The main thing is I don't wanna work on new comms on my vacation, just use it to rest. Keep that in mind, in case you don't see art or WIPs on Patreon very often until my vacation's over.

Now that I'm FINALLY done with commissions, I will rest over the weekend and then open for comms again on Monday
I'm just reviewing the prices... not planning on changing them or anything! Just thinking about if I wanna offer reference sheets or not, because those are always the comms that I have the least energy for and I never like working on them

Letting you all know that I got a message from my boss telling me that, from next month on, I will be getting a bigger work schedule, more classes to teach, etc

Because of that I will be getting paid more, which obviously makes me very happy. But it also would mean less time for leisure and commissions, so we'll see how it's gonna be when I have to balance all of it.

I hope that everyone here will be understanding if my art output speed goes down. I love making art but... paying the bills and saving money is also very important!

Finished the big muscle picture I've been talking about on Twitter and I don't know what to do

Part of me wants to release it all to the public and not care about being business savvy because that never works out for me

But I could make the alts timed exclusives or even permanent ones on Patreon...

Still unsure if I should puy some versions of stuff only on Patreon

On one side, it could potentially give me moneys (or fail completely)

On the other side, if it works, it'd set up a precedent for pics like that and idk if I wanna come up with pics with alts solely for thst... I kinda just wanna do my thing and whoever wants to help, helps ya know?

I just see a lot of people doing it and I'm like... I don't know if I'm creative enough or if I have enough free time to invest into such a business move

As a heads-up, commissions and other artwork are at a pause at the moment due to the fact that my PC died

I'm assessing the damage and so far it seems the power supply has fried, but I'm checking if anything else must be bought... But it's hard and I'm not that tech literate, so tomorrow I'm taking it to a technician to assess it. Hopefully it's just the power supply and no other components were damaged, because I really really don't want to be taking money from my savings to get a new computer

Reason why I'm opening 10 slots this time is so more people have a chance to get a slot from me and not feel left out as it usually takes a little bit before I'm open for comms again

I'm taking a small little break now to make one more self-indulgent personal picture and then will set things up to open for commissions again

Not a lot but enough so that not a lot of people feel left out because they didn't have time to get a slot, you know?

Long story short, I've been very sick and had a crisis of anxiety attack... and now I'm seeing a doctor and such for lots of tests to see if I've developed any heart problems due to a tachycardia that lasted for 24 hours and also to check if I have diabetes since many of the symptoms I had for a while were similar to the ones diabetic people have!
So yeah... a lot has happened!

But I'm working on getting out of this sad funk, working very slowly on art and trying not to push myself due to getting exhausted all too easily and quickly after all that happened.
I've finished an artwork that I will be posting in a few minutes from now and I will tomorrow work on making the monthly art pack for you all!

I apologize for the silence. I tweeted a lot about how I was feeling but I never did make a formal post and that was bad from me, I should've let you people know sooner about all these problems I had.
