As I wave a bittersweet goodbye to #AC2019, I thought I'd share some thoughts about my first ever Anthrocon. My fursuit debut seems to have been a great success. So many positive vibes and good feelings. My boy has definitely earned his first bath.

The parade was an amazing experience. It was very emotional for me in many ways. Heck thinking about it now just brings all those emotions flooding back to my mind. I nearly cried out there because I felt like the most true form of myself, and because it's been on my to do list since I joined the fandom in 2007.

Say what you will about Uncle Kage, but he and the Anthrocon board and staff have put together something very special that other cons can only dream of. Nowhere have I ever seen a city so willingly and happily intertwined with this community.

Then there's the smiles brought to so many children's faces, all the high-fives, all the pictures, and most of all the new friends. Fursuiting brings about a new sense of brother and sisterhood that I didn't understand before, but am so happy to be a part of.

Special shout outs to my fellow OFAers (especially those of you who romped around with me for hours ), the studio (), my friends both new and old (one of which definitely romped around with me for hours XD ), and most importantly my partner . Without you, none of this would have been possible. You all are near and dear to my heart, and the memories and experiences from this con will be cherished forever. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.

It's been a while! Just wanted to pop by and leave a little note.

I've been good, been with my lovely for 7 and a half years now. LOVE YOU HUN!

I've been gaining valuable experience as a newly minted manager at a national hardware chain for the last 6 months. It's required some sacrifice but it will be worth it in the end!

My fursuit is finally under construction with an expected debut at Anthrocon 2019 which I will be attending for the first time ever.

All in all, life is good!

It's been two years since my last journal. LOL. I guess I don't find myself on here as much as I used to. Been busy.

Anyways yes I'm still alive, and yes I'm still a derpy kitty. Also thanks to all those who have followed me in the last couple years, sorry I haven't been super active.

Something I have been very active in is the Furry Hockey League, or FHL. I built a website for them to track stats and more and we're celebrating 5 seasons this year. The new season begins on the 23rd of October. There's still time to get in on the action from day one. So yeah, didn't want to bump my RF journal just yet, but I thought I would warn you all: Tomorrow afternoon, well, actually, it's after midnight, soooo THIS afternoon, I will be pretty much erasing or moving things in my gallery to my scraps folder, in preparation to reupload ALL of the art I have had drawn featuring Bluefire. I've noticed that many of the artists who drew me have removed their posts of my character, which to me is silly. So I wanted to reupload everything in chronological order to give it some sense.

I will also be creating another account for my writing in the near future when I have more to post. I want to get back into that.

Also! I NEED YOUR HELP! I need some suggestions on who to get to make my fursuit. I want to know who you think makes the best and cutest feline suits out there. The style I'm going for is toony. Please post your suggestions here!

Went dancing, partying (thanks  nightcat for having me to his party!), and wandered around trying to at least say hi to people.

Bought a piece of art in the art show drawn by the amazing  kashmere, commissioned  tanidareal for a badge and recolored mood badge set. Also got my  fluke badge put on aluminum by  bedlambadges. Oh and I got a new Snow Leopard plushy that I absolutely adore, it's so cute :3 I named him Schneeball (German for Snowball).

Finally got to meet two people that I've known on FA for a while, so this is a shoutout to them:  Riguel and  Base_Progression. Was nice to hang out with Riggy for the evening :3 Hopefully I'll get to hang out with Base more next time. Didn't even get to meet ya out of suit! XD

Also got to meet some people I've been talking to for a while but hadn't had the chance to meet yet (that means you  HarleyOtter :P)

Also, a general shoutout to all the people I at least talked to for a bit this con, and to those who helped make it awesome: Riguel, Sethpup, Nightcat, Toby, HarleyOtter, Redclaw, Tawn, Oscar, PandaParty, Marfles, Azlan, Silver R Wuffamute, and many more that I cannot remember right now (sorry!).

I mean what the hell? Even if this isn't your primary source of income, you should treat it that way. It's called Customer Service for fuck sake. Keep your commissioners(customers) in the loop! So yeah, I turned 27 yesterday. Didn't really do anything, just sat around and read some comics and played a computer game. A nice relaxing day for once X3

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there, especially my wonderful boyfriend and lover :3 We've made it through more than a year together, and I foresee many many more happy years.

I don't mean to be an ass, but I think it's time that someone either started a new site that is like FA or rebuilt FA from the ground up. Obviously the base code of FA has enormous security holes in it. I mean in reality, it's about time this site had a major overhaul anyway. It's kind of old looking and not even Web 2.0 compatible.

If I actually had enough web application programming skills, I'd do it myself, or at least offer my services to Dragoneer. I mean surely there are enough people out there on FA with the skills to help program this thing better. We should come together as a community to make this site better.

Also, whatever happened with that upgraded look they were working on, I remember seeing preview screens of a much cleaner looking FA over a year ago. Were those plans scrapped?

Anyway, I hope all this crap gets resolved soon. I really feel bad for all the admins and staff. It's been a rough last few days.

Bottom line is, until something better comes along, I'm not leaving FA.
