Yeah, it's that time of the year again! Time to announce I am leaving to EF! You can find me there Thueday evening all through till Sunday evening. Again, I will be having a table in the Dealers Den with Buttons, Shirts and Prints. Also, if I can, I'll squeeze in a sketchbook or two, I'll try and offer more pencily and charcoaly things than usual. Please drop by - I should be at my table whenever I am not running around on Art Show Duty.

So... With the latest Uploads I kick off Conseason 2009. I am in a bit of a Tiff right now, as I am having my office refurbished, so I can't work on anything else than smaller originals in the evenings right now.

The cuts in my work flow are fairly imminent when it comes to MMC this Weekend: I will have some small size originals with me (including my recent uploads) and a few surprises. If you have wanted to buy an original at a very reasonable price, now is you chance!

I'll be pottering off to MMC on Thursday morning: See you all there!

So, I was wondering about giving FC a spin again next year, so I bounced over to their homepage.

In order to enter the art show, one now needs to register for the convention itself. A special "supporting"-registration fee is now compulsory, if you wish to enter work to the show, but are unable to attend the convention yourself. I actually find this is a very clever idea, as you can't just tailgate the convention anymore. After all, you do take advantage of the infrastructure which is provided by the organising body, so it is nothing but fair to repay the organisers.

On the other hand, it means I have to do my numbers again. I have no name to boot and hence sales in the US have been bleak in the past. And my current financial conditions don't allow me to simply send art around the world for the sake of presentation and display. Who in the States would pay attention to my work anyway? Unless some kind donor puts a few dollars in the tip jar, or a registered artists offers a picture or two of mine asylum on their panels, FC is not going to happen.

Perhaps it is better that way: I can focus fully on the European Conventions. I have no hassle bringing prints along and can offer the full services. The states, that is for some other time...

So, I have more or less fully recovered from the fun which was Eurofurence.

So, I am entertaining Mephit Mini Con this weekend. This marks my return to Siegen after I was forced to let last year's convention pass due to a conflict in my tour dates :) As this grand little German convention is also a the first time to showcase my work this year, I will be in the Art Show with

I am slowly getting ready to start off the new con season: FC is near, and a friend has offered to agent for me again.

I am willing to take those chances, however, I haven't heard back from the FC team in over a month now. I have no idea if I got any panels, if payment cleared or if my application actually ever reached them. In this global day and age, postal services are as unreliable as ever.

Just to be safe, I will mat some of my posters from this year, in case I do hear about something on short notice. That does mean however that you guys in the US won't see any new material. Chances are, if you were at EF13 you will know all the pieces allready.

Sorry, but with my current workload I have to focus on projects other than the eventual likelyhood of being present at an US convention.

So, After FC, MMC and EF this year, I am closing shop for the season. I have had fun and a lot of bouncy glee over piccies folk have been providing me with. I now turn back to the sketchbooks and paintpots for some serious work, after all, Con Season 2008 is just round the corner :D

As the temperatures pick up, my productivity dives. I need to get piccies on the way for EF but that is chalenging, with this hot weather.

In addition, working for EF consumes a lot of energy, so I will just lay low the next few weeks.

Some folk have been asking about my Convention-Season this year.

I would like to stress, that the only Convention I am booking for so far is Eurofurence 13 in early September, where I am acting as Vice Art Show Director. Be there :D

I hear a lot who seem to know that I will be at MMC10 this May. You know more than me, as I am not going to be at MMC this year! All those convinced that they will "catch me at MMC in two months time", get it into yer heads that I will have an agent and pictures in the art show, but not be present myself.

I am currently pondering AC, but lacking an Agent, I doubt I will partake in the Art Show.

I will announce in detail what work is to be expected from me this year :D

So, I would like to make the obligatory advertising journal entry.

Bee_Pee will be attending Eurofurence next week. There will be mucho Art in the Art Show which has been disclosed from the Galleries, mainly some soopersized Posterprints, some of which will debut there.

Also, I have been appointed to gopher for one or two artists in the Alley, in exchange for some tablespace between them. I will have some prints available and you might just catch me drawing for a change too :D

I all excited about revamping my FA account... I have tried to do the import job, and so far I have failed miserably, I will see if I can retrieve my old hide over the next few days...
