Hey there, folks!
Interest this time was pretty overwhelming, gotta say! I've never had such a hard time deciding between so many ideas and GOOD ones too. Factors I kept in mind were "How fast/effectively can I draw this? Has this person commissioned me many times before? Do I wanna do these two small commissions from two people or another big one? Is there already another image with a similar theme in my queue and I should wait?" Etc. Etc.
I'm super grateful that you all really seem to be narrowing in on the things I enjoy drawing, but man, this was hard. I really wanted to do so many more, but I didn't wanna make my queue overwhelming. I really encourage you to try again next opening if you didn't get in this time.

Hey there folks!

Been getting a lot of folks poking me lately about when I'm opening again.
The answer is this Saturday, May 30th, 5PM EDT! These will be started in early June.
- It will not be first come first served.
- And no cities or ref sheets. (I'll get back to doing them eventually!)
I just wanted to get a reasonable way through my queue before taking on any more work. Between everything going on, it's no surprise that my work has slowed down some, but things definitely seem to be picking up again. The meds I'm on have also stabilised and I've adjusted really well to them, so that's been super helpful.

Hey there, folks!

It's been a while since I've made any kind of journal. Nothing since last year, in fact.
I had hoped to get back to business as usual sooner but mental health issues got in the way. Things are looking up, however, as I saw my doctor again recently and have another referral to see another rheumatolagist for a proper diagnosis. We're still both suspecting lupus. My mental issues tend to happen during and after flare ups, and they've been lasting longer and longer, so I just flat out asked my doctor if I could be put on anti-depressants. I had held off on them for years but at this point, it was significantly affecting my ability to work at all, between that and physical issues as well.
Anyway, they seem to be working and he actually gave me something that's also prescribed offlabel for ADHD patients, so that's been helpful. I have ADHD and have never been on meds for it, and damn, have I been missing out.

I wanna thank everyone who've been super patient with me. It's not gone unnoticed. I really appreciate it.
I have 3 pieces of art left but those shouldn't take too much longer.

All this to say, things are improving and I'm ready to open again this Thursday at 5PM EST.

I was a little on the fence about doing my Holiday stream this year, hence the late journal post. My streaming has become pretty irregular due to personal reasons. But it's a tradition at this point, and I know it brings a lot of joy to people. I also know I'll feel differently once it comes around because it's such a rewarding experience. Sometimes I get touched to tears.

How it works is you nominate someone you feel could use a little holiday cheer this year (AKA free art). The reason is optional (but usually helps!) and you and/or your reason can be kept anonymous if you choose. You can even choose to nominate yourself!

Once again, I tried to fit in as many as possible and actually stuck to 10 this time! I liked most of the ideas listed but really didn't feel comfortable squeezing in any more. I also prioritised paintings because I've been enjoying those a lot lately and really feel they, along with Experimentals, push my skills more and more each time, though they do tend to be more time consuming.

I'll be finishing up the remaining commissions and getting started on the new ones after I return from MFF!

STREAMING STUFF

I've been streaming on both Twitch and Picarto. Why both? Well, Twitch has all kinds of features that Picarto doesn't, and a much larger audience. It's given me a chance to be much more social with my audience than previously. Also being more gaming oriented, I play games as well as draw. The art tends to be personal art and fanart to keep things more fast paced. I might do the occasional icon commission too. Slowly, slowly I've been adding more art and the like to make it more snazzy and flashy. I've also got a SCHEDULE.

Twitch schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday at 5PM EST

But because I still draw NSFW stuff, (and enjoy it!) I still occasionally stream on Picarto. Unlike my Twitch streams, there's not going to be a schedule. You might catch me streaming at 2AM or something with the mic off. I generally work on commissions during this time. Or just lewd things in general.

Hey there, folks!

It's been a little while. I'm happy to say I'm doing a lot better these days. I had a period of being pretty sick and in pain that eventually passed, but was never really at 100% until recently. Such is the nature of autoimmune issues. The art has been a'flowing now. It's awesome. I'm gonna ride this as long as possible. I've also made some more lifestyle changes that seem to be working out so far.

Anyway, I've been getting a lot of questions these days on when I'm next opening, Thing is, I've put off doing YCHs for a little while and I kinda wanna indulge for a bit. So, if something catches your fancy, have at it! I'll be doing them here and for NSFW/kink stuff, there'll be some over at  Voredom
The turnaround should also be pretty quick since this is all I'm working on and again, my health has been great (pretty much the only thing that ever delays me).

I'm not sure how many I'll be doing, but when I feel I've done enough, I'll switch back over to commissions. Prices will also be adjusted somewhat since they're a bit overdue for that. I'll put out another journal ahead of time before I open again so you all can get your questions/ideas together.

Hey there, folks

This is just a life update in case people were wondering why commission progress has slowed down significantly.
Friday, May 24th I found myself sick very suddenly. There was no coughing or congestion, but my stomach was in searing pain which spread to the rest of my body. I had a bad headache, confusion/dizziness, nausea, and persistent fever. I'm not sure what triggered it all exactly, but it left me in bed for several days.
I went to the doctor that Wednesday who then told me to go to the hospital in case it was meningitis (the headache looked a lot like it).
After a long day of tests at the hospital, they ruled out meningitis and gave me a bit of a non answer. Like, "It's probably some kind of viral infection." and prescribed me some pain killers to take for 2 weeks. They said it was normal if I still had a fever after a week. I mean, if they say so...
I still do have a fever, but the pain is admittedly getting a bit better. Biggest challenge is eating. I have zero appetite because of nausea and the pain medication is having a weird effect on the taste of food, which makes eating even more unappealing. Here's hoping this all passes sooner rather than later...

So naturally this has been taking a toll on my ability to do commission work. I've been trying to chip away at things whenever I'm able, but most of my time has been spent in bed trying to get better.
Everyone's been super cool and understanding so far and I just wanna say I really appreciate everyone's patience.
Because of the delays, I probably won't be opening for any custom June commissions and just put up some YCHs after I'm done with May's batch.
I'll be sure to keep you all posted.
