Before I start, my point here is not to agree with the SOPA, that I in fact disagree with, but also to reflect a little bit about those who are complaining about it. Because our interests and opinions also deserve some criticism and reflection. Otherwise, it would be a backwards censorship.

I believe the purpose of the act is pretty much valid. I mean, let's face it: it is annoying to have something you did somewhere else being used without your consent. Depending on the website or image board, I even find it distasteful and disrespectful. I can sort of relate to the artists who would like to have their art protected from misuse. I usually see the notes like "Please do no redistribute", "Do not repost it" on images but people still do what the artists do not want them to.

People are also fighting for freedom of speech on the Internet. I personally shiver when I hear the phrase "freedom of speech", because I never know what the person actually wants to say. Because the "freedom of speech" on the Internet allows annonymous people to say whatever they want and denegrate the image and the reputation of others, thus creating cyberbullies, trolls, flamers etc. Censorship is not the only kind of violence on the Internet.

I personally don't think that the freedom of speech is what people are really afraid of losing. Some people just don't want to lose the oportunity of downloading music and videos whenever they want to for free. I mean, it's not like all people from the Internet actually had videoblogs on Youtube or liked singing copyrighted songs on Livestream. I believe some people are just taking advantage of the good will of others to keep get their hands on free stuff.

The problem about this act is the way it's treating the issue and specially the harshness of the punnishment for those who infringe these laws. According to Wikipedia (which is down for a day as a protest):

"The originally proposed bill would allow the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as copyright holders, to seek court orders against websites accused of enabling or facilitating copyright infringement. [...]The bill would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content a crime, with a maximum penalty of five years in prison for ten such infringements within six months. The bill also gives immunity to Internet services that voluntarily take action against websites dedicated to infringement"

I mean, this totally sound like a dystopian law, from those futuristic movies, where we all dress the same and obey the great Super Computer, rewarding the good cattle who publicly agreed with their ideals and helped them massacring "la resistance". This is very scary, because the Internet helped globalazing many thoughts and ideals and it may also spread this kind of approach around the world.

Finally, I can say that disagree with this law and I suggest you all to disagree as well. But be careful not to disagree because of the wrong reasons. Big corporations that are being against this law may not be at all interested in us, but interested in their own losses. They may be just calling us to fight for their own interests. If we see well in the history of humankind, it happened many times.

Being fat for me was always something considered a problem. I remember that when I was about 20 kilos fatter, life was terrible for me. I had this big problem of seeing myself fat and until nowadays I can't stand looking at my own belly.

But, I start to think of why I think this way and I also what is considered "hot". Why don't we try looking for "hot stud" on Google images and see what we find? Well, I think much of you got boners and are going to continue (or not ) reading this after some good fapping time, right?....Well, welcome back! How was it? x3 heheheh Joking joking. Well, I guess that feeling attracted to these kind of males is considered "normal". But on Wikipedia, having a preference for overweight people and older people, for example, is considered a paraphilia.

So, it means that "hot studs" are the healthy things to be sexually appreciated, while the overweight, "bears" and "daddies" are considered a sexual and mental disturbance. I am a bit overweight and hairy, so it means that those who find me hot are sick people? I mean, those who didn't find their ideal of hot men on Google image should all look for a mental house?

I remember a guy here on FA that was highly criticised for being a "gainer". I wonder if people were really caring about the health side. Aren't some of them just telling him indirectly to stop being fat because it's ugly and he should be a hot stud like the guys on Google images?

What pains me is the fact that I can't stop thinking that a fat me is an ugly me. Although, I really don't mind an ugly you, a chubby you is an adorable, cute you that deserve lots of hugs! But a chubby me is unacceptable. It's one of those thoughts that you'd rather not having them, but because of the common thought that made true the images of "hot studs" on google images, I ended up accepting it, as much of general people do. I mean, why would most of our fursonas be huge, muscular, fatless bulls or dragons with sexy grins and huge dicks if we didn't accept this trend?

Well, it's just something that was in my head.

Hello, dears! ^^ I've been playing with Macromedia Flash recently and with some dress-up games, one which  dudedle is helping me out. ^^ But I've decided to work on a Halloween one this time with my five main characters: Beau, Hibuki, Sanchez, Beorock and Toragami. Today I watched The Lion King 3D when I watched the scene where Rafiki tells Simba that Mufasa lives and guides him to a small lake and tells him that Musafa lives in him. I remember that I indeed thought that Mufasa had survived and got pretty disappointed when I learned that Rafiki was just using a figure of speech.

Well, I'd like to apologize for being away and all and for not being able to respond to messages and starting the Super Sentai commission yet. A couple of weeks ago I was terribly busy with work, my studies and my preparations for my trip to France. When I arrived here, I got sick and it took some time to adjuste myself to the new weather and food. I'm currently staying with mon pote, le gentil  leomon32, that is being very patient with my annoying presence specially with my unbearable broken French that sounds like English and Portuguese at the same time. x3

Well, as things are getting back to normal, I'll start drawing the commission here when I'm chez Leo. Je crois il va falloir avoir plus de money and so I may open myself pour les commissions bientôt.

DESCRIPTION: Five characters (male or female) in a presentation pose, with the great villain in the background: The Evil Dark-Blue Emperor "Gillimus Beau" with his huge dark(-blue) cloak, calling out his dark(-blue) servants, the Dark(-blue) Beaugies. The Rangers will be a RED, BLUE, BLACK, YELLOW and PINK. If there aren't female characters, I may change the pink and yellow to GREEN or WHITE, but only if the commissioners don't want to have their character with those colors. It's up to them.

I am terribly afraid of showing the contents of this journal because I fear I might be seen as some romantic freak. The fear of being misunderstood is great, but I'll give it a try.

I've been listening to Ellie Goulding's cover of Elton John's song "Your Song" this night and the lyrics are so sweet. I think this is the most beautiful love promise someone could ever hear. Then, like instantly, I thought "How I wish things were easy like this.." But then the question has struck on my mind "Why do I think things are not easy like that?"

Thoughts on love are scattered and scrambled in my mind and it's hard to organize them. I fear that the main question is "is why can't we just love and live life?" What I ask is utopia, is nonsense and unrealistic. But isn't it what we all wonder and wish? When a teenager says they love their boy/girlfriends, their parents, who usually know how "society" works, would certainly forbid depending on the situation. But that feeling so strong, so pure, so intense, it doesn't matter at all? This power, this feeling that burns inside, it's not important at all?

I really admire how some teenagers love. How they are able to find beauty on that certain person, without caring about the future. For them, the need of caring about survival issues are not important. The outside world and the inner world fight, because in order to live, maybe the person we chose to love isn't the fittest. Maybe they can't provide us a house, a car or trips to Hawaii. Almost automatically, we love someone based on these precepts: "what they can provide me".

I do not combat those who wisely choose their partners or analyze carefully if that person is really the one who is supposed to share their life with you. But I just wonder if we will not end up committing the same mistakes of our parents, something we all have promised we would never do.

"Why can't people who love each other so intensely be together?". If you ask this, you'll probably see giggles and sighs towards you. "Don't be ridiculous. This is not how things work.", people say. But why is it so wrong, so childish and even naïve to ask that, if that is exactly what we all wish for? Why has the world become the exact opposite of our wishes? How society makes two people in love stay separated. different religions, social status, imigration issues, economical crisis... Because of such a savage, cruel social structure we have no other choice. Those who defy the rules are considered both brave and suicidal.

World, I'm sorry, but I am a daredevil. I choose to believe.
