Big guy with a little guy...
Posted 2 years agoIt's a really popular image, some big tall fat and/or muscular guy with a tiny skinny one, usually a wolf or fox, sometimes even a YCH. I get why it's popular but it completely turns me off, and kinda makes me angry sometimes. Basically it feels... dishonest.
I've always been into big dudes. When I was in my early 20s I was super thin and "pretty". Blond, green-eyed twink. Never was interested in other twinks though, I always pursued big guys. 99 times out of 100 the response was
"Sorry I only like other big dudes."
The 1 time out of 100 that a guy was interested, it was this whole "You're beautiful, I'm so big and ugly" self-hatred therapy process. It didn't work out too well since I saw HIM as beautiful and I saw myself as scrawny and ugly. Two people who hate themselves can't easily heal each other.
Over the years I became a big guy, myself. I have a big husband. We occasionally are treated with... tolerance/pity by twinks. We often see other big couples. It's very, very rare to see a big guy with a little guy.
Anyway, whenever I see one of those drawings, it brings back all those experiences and takes all the enjoyment out of it. Thanks for reading!

Helping out a friend :D
Posted 2 years agoA game about love and alchemy
Posted 5 years agoHowdy folks. Cletis here. Rowan and I have been quiet for some time, but we've been working on a game, and have a restricted-access, private preview up on itch.io. The password is:

please give it a look, and tell us what you think. This game is BIG TIME in development, and this is just a fraction of what it will do in the end, but we'd like to start getting input early on.
Thanks!!!

Help another furry out: answer 3 quick questions about magic
Posted 6 years agoA fur we know is trying to make a life change, and wants to know how he can help others live more magical lives. He's made a three-question survey, and he doesn't collect any personal info. Help him out. If you want to be a real superstar, share the survey with others who want this world to be more magical and less full of shit.

Another game is in the works
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone,
Cletis here. So for the past few weeks I've been working on a new game. This one is inspired by the very old Pool of Radiance from SSI back in 1988. This project will be my first complete Unity game (the last one was really more of a process test), and I'm sure I still have several weeks' worth of work to put into it. Not to mention all the art, sound, and writing it's going to need. I'll post art snips here when I get them done, but you can also follow our Twitter to keep up with progress: https://twitter.com/BojogBear/statu.....65361328787458
I'll be hosting the game on GameJolt once it's ready to post as a devlog, but I think I'm going to want to find better exposure for this one, so I am open to suggestions about other places I can host it where more people will see / play it.
Anyway, that's it for now.

We made another silly game.
Posted 7 years agoUPDATE: I added a web-playable version
Hey everyone! So, I've been busting my ass for the last couple weeks to put together this goofy little diddy, and I wanted to share it. I feel really good about having completed it, so I thought I'd do a little journal. The long and short of it is this:
Gruffendar the bear has always wanted to run his own little Dudes-Bar. A quaint hole-in-the-wall where guys of all species can have a drink, free of the confines of pants. Of course, it takes a team to run a bar, and Gruff's team has come up with an unorthodox pre-opening celebration: They'll play Condom Roulette! Each dude will take a turn plowing his boss, but they will all share one rubber. If the condom survives this abuse, then the last dude wearing it has to be the bear's slave for a week. But, if the condom breaks...
It's a really simple roulette-type game, where each fuck-bud brings a higher chance of failure. It's mostly text-based, so you'll have to use your imagination a lot.
At any rate, here's the link:

Let me know what you think.

Seduce-A-Donk
Posted 7 years agoSo today I was bored and started playing the Seduce A Donk Game that Cletis made quite some time ago.
Been trying to figure out how to get every ending. I'm pretty sure I've gotten them all now, but the only way I could ever max out "anger" just gave me the "full night of fun" (out of moves) ending. Did anyone ever see an anger-ending? Hmm.

Donk Fundraising
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone. Cletis here.
Buh.. it's kinda' tough writing this, because I try to be so self-reliant, but the day job's been pretty dead lately. ... very dead ... And, it's getting a little tough to make ends meet. I've been trying different things to earn some extra scratch, and one of the things I'd like to do is open up to more commission work.
I will be doing more YCH auctions in the future, like these:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20886058/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20886038/
I will also be doing character commissions like these:
$20.00 line art: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22862190/
$25.00 cell colors: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23742263/
$50.00 Blending with background: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20886038/
$80.00 complex http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7054294/
(Prices are per character)
And, $10.00 Orcifications like these:

So, please drop me a note if you'd be interested in receiving something, and we'll work out the details :)

Gruffydd's Journal 5:4

Journal : 28 of Thrimidge
Today was an absolute mess. Our plan was to go outside the city and surprise the encampment of Mindflayers, saving the hostage gnoll-tribe. Ark had a good idea to try scrying on them first, but I don't know any of the gnolls very well- and I certainly don't know the Mindflayers- which would have made it very difficult to find them in my mirror.
This led to our asking to search the Temple Library for alternative methods of scrying, only some great library-guardian guards it, and it doesn't like humans or halflings (can you believe it!). Duke was nominated to go in our stead, which had me worried- could Duke really understand what we were looking for well enough to find it? Anyway, he went.
Calamity of calamities, Duke finds not a great guardian, but Ashe!! Unlooked-for, the monkey-man appeared, having done something... or other... with the guardian to keep it docile. But Ashe told Duke not to look for any books, just to hurry and take the group to the Mindflayers' camp-- where he said we should lose the fight and give ourselves up!
Ridiculous! The Mindflayers want to kill us, not take us captive, or whatever Ashe is thinking. Well I wouldn't be a party to it, and told everyone so. Several of our group decided to follow Ashe's instructions anyway, but I told them I wouldn't even go with them if anyone planned to surrender. They went anyway.
Weiss seemed to believe I would follow on my own just to save everyone- I told him very clearly that I would not! Only he believed I was lying in case the Mindflayers read the party's minds. The bear is really clever sometimes, but I was telling the truth! I wouldn't risk my life to save theirs if they were just going to surrender and put their heads on the chopping block! That would be risking getting dragged into my own death as well. What a waste!
Anyway I went after them- but not to save their lives! I just wanted to help somehow, if I could... but if things turned sour I could always escape. I'm not some idealist hero!
So we arrived (me flying overhead, and invisible, just watching). Duke and Zane must have flubbed the negotiation somehow, because the Mindflayers killed two of the gnoll hostages. Predictably, a fight broke out.
And what a disaster the fight was! Everyone on the ground got Mind-Blasted and just stood there ripe for the killing. I tried to trap two Mindflayers in a Telekinetic Sphere (only got one) intending to raise them up to a fatal height and then drop them- but by this point the party was helpless and each paired off with a Mindflayer about to eat the brains out of them (a small snack in some cases, ha!).
So I had to abandon my intention to kill my trapped enemy- and instead I rolled the Sphere around the battle-site, trying to knock the Mindflayers away from my friends. It worked beautifully at first, but then they must have been ready for it because I wasn't able to dislodge them after a certain point.
Then suddenly, rather than killing everyone, the Mindflayers began Plane-Shifting away, taking my captive friends with them! Faster than I could do anything- Weiss, then Zane, then Duke all vanished and were borne away heaven-knows-where! With Michael and Sam off somewhere, and the bull away somewhere else, that left only myself and Ark to determine what to do next.
Only one Mindflayer remained, trapped in a tanglefoot bag Duke had thrown. Then suddenly Ashe appears (again!) though this time with no memory of his first meeting with Duke. He brought some sort of awful rectal-insertion mind control mess, "two feet of sausage" he said, though it sounded like some primitive druidic nonsense... hang it all, now I want sausage. Anyway Ashe claimed after shoving that mess up the Mindflayer's arse, it would help us.
Anyway "You have to let this Mindflayer take you both into another plane" says Ashe, presumably to meet our other friends. But I'm not sure I like the idea. Surrendering to Mindflayers is exactly what I refused to do originally- and it hardly seems better to be ripped from my native plane than to be killed outright. Who knows what awaits us? If I even go, that is.

Journal : 23 of Rethe
This morning we woke up quite early, well before sun-up. Our plan is to set out as soon as it's daylight and ride hard for The City all day. We can only travel when it's daylight, as the dreadful storm of ghosts appears at sundown to consume all life between Outpost and The City. Naturally, everyone is nervous- any slight delay might mean we're caught in the ghost-storm, and that would most likely mean death for most if not all of us.
Why no one thought to bring the Mindflayers' evil life-shrouding cloak is beyond me. Supposedly it makes a "good person" feel sick and very weak to put it on. Well if no one else claims it, I'll put it with my own things. There's no sense in every last one of us dying if the ghost-storm descends on us out in the open!
Would that make me "evil," I wonder? What a strange sort of judgement that would be, if worst came to worst and I had to put it on, to find that I didn't feel sick at all... best to put it out of my mind. If all goes well, we will reach the city and be safe- I won't need it.
Journal : 23 of Rethe (late evening)
We made it- obviously. I doubt I'd be writing a journal if we didn't. Almost everything went according to plan- we set out at dawn and rode as fast as the horses could survive taking us.
On the way, an odd thing happened- one of the gnoll-merchants appeared in the road before us. He was under some sort of Compulsion-spell, so I dispelled it immediately, freeing him. After some confusion, he told us to ride for the city and not turn aside from the road no matter what. That was the plan all along, but what did he mean? What would make us want to leave the road?
Near the City we saw smoke off to one side, and a path leading there. There was nothing else worthy of note, so we rode past and arrived in the city.
Once inside, the poor gnoll-fellow told us the real truth. His companions are being held hostage by the Mindflayers! He was put under a spell and sent out to meet us, and lead us to the camp. There the Mindflayers planned to capture or kill us in exchange for the lives of the gnolls- since our group was known to be compassionate, especially to friends of our group. What a quandary that would have been!
The gnoll feels sure the Mindflayers killed his friends by now- but I'm not so sure. If they were planning to use the gnolls as hostages, the Mindflayers wouldn't slaughter them simply because our group didn't appear as expected. I think they will hold onto their captives as long as they are still useful. That means we have some time (but not much) to save our friends. It will have to wait until tomorrow, though- it's already dark, and the ghost-storm would destroy us if we set out before morning.
On a side note, it's very strange to be back here in The City. We've now seen it throughout history and even after its destruction in the distant future. Even though this is the time in which I was born, the world feels like a fractured moment, like a drawing of a place that no longer exists.
I'm curious to see if our shops and homes are still where we left them- for tonight we seem to be staying in the Temple of Horkoth, and tomorrow we do battle to save the gnolls. Ah, for a rest at some point! At least the food and wine here are very good.

Journal : 21 of Afteryule
Well, a lot has happened since my last journal, to say the least. The others did come back eventually, and we had to plan our escape from that place. There were Stone Golems between us and the exit, and so we had to figure a way around them. Knowing several members of our party would want to attack the golems directly (disaster!) I and a few of the other savvy party members came up with a plan to divert the golems and allow everyone to escape past them.
The plan was simple enough- I'd get their attention, and draw them away while safe in a Telekinetic Sphere. Unfortunately I stepped just a little too far through the doorway, so when my Sphere surrounded me, it actually trapped me inside the room with the golems in stead of allowing me to draw them outside.
That was a little embarrassing, but everyone panicked and ran into the room to start fighting the golems head-on. Totally unnecessary since I was safe in the sphere no matter how hard the golems beat on it. Ah well. Eventually I drew away the golems to another part of the room while the others escaped, and I soon followed them via Dimension Door.
Once outside we found ourselves among allies again- (somewhat) safe in the town of Outpost. It was odd to see that place again in this time period; the last time we were here, we had all just met Duke. Weiss and Zane weren't even with the party... things have changed a great deal, and so have I.
At any rate, the Ghost-Storm is still roaring around outside consuming anyone unlucky enough to be on the road to The City at night. Bit of disturbing news on that point- it turns out the Ghost-Storm is an amalgam of the splintered, dead souls of every living person who has come to The City. I suppose that means there are four of me in there somewhere, too...
Father Flor Sez found us and asked for help - his son ventured out on the road and had not been seen since. I managed to use Discern Location to find him, though- meaning he is still alive. So the next day we made the journey (in daylight, of course!) to a point midway to The City.
We found Flor Sez's son, as well as two Mindflayers! The party dispatched one of them and I enclosed the other in a Telekinetic Sphere, but the cowardly creature Plane Shifted away before I could learn anything useful from him. That was unfortunate, but at least the flayers are no longer such a dire threat to our group. I still remember how poor old Bulfruke died. Ah well!
So, we returned with the captive and a good deal of mediocre weapons that will still be of some use to the town. The dragon-birds are still a threat, so I helped the townspeople build enclosed walkways so they can move around without being attacked. I've also been feeding the town each day by casting two instances of Mage's Mansion- after starving and eating rats for who-knows-how-long, eating a nine-course banquet once a day lifted their spirits a great deal!
Our remaining concern is getting the relic-rod and putting this era's time-gems into it. That will take some doing, since one of the gems is somehow binding the Ghost-Storm into the amalgam as it is now, and removing/restoring the time gem may possibly set thousands of hungry ghosts free. On top of this, the damned black-dragon Papa Swampy is heading this way, intending to kill us.
But, one thing at a time. The first step is the easiest: go to The City (avoiding the Ghost-Storm) and get the relic-rod. First things first, we'll aim to do that. Apparently horses will allow us to reach the city with little difficulty; we just have to keep an eye out for ambush along the way.
Oh yes, how could I forget?
Raktus was killed. No one is even sure how it happened, since the mindflayers were already defeated. He just started shouting some rubbish about not being a slave, and the next thing we know he's dead and covered in brands. Nasty business- Weiss was understandably insane with grief.
I know that sounds very callous to say it like that. Part of it is that I'm still Time-Touched, but the other half is that Raktus somehow came back to life, which makes the grief and terror of his death a good deal more distant. Who even knows how he returned to life- I certainly didn't pay what it would have cost to Resurrect him. Apparently it has something to do with the lust-god Eqastyr. Obviously he's not a lust-god; his followers talk of fertility and bounty and all that nonsense- it still boils down to sex if you ask me. Not that I ever had a problem with a bit of dalliance now and then.
Anyway, Raktus is a bit different now- he lost all his powers (something to do with his connection to his previous evil god being broken by Eqastyr). Surprisingly he expresses only a little regret over this loss- I would have expected him to mourn over his prized spells more than this, but he seems committed to this new life, such as it is (and whatever it is). Weiss is pleased, of course; I suppose that is for the best.

Cletis the Cute Donkey and His First YCH
Posted 9 years agoSo my husband (that cute chubby donkey dude with the big dick) drew his first YCH... not to be confused with YRCH, the elvish word for orcs. There are no orcs in the picture, unless you win and your character is an orc. Then it would be an Yrch YCH.
It's a werewolf-themed picture- you can view the picture here.
The auction bidding is open until noon tomorrow (tomorrow being Highday, the 18th of Wedmath- or August 10th for you non-hobbits).
Proceeds go to help fund the donkey's creative endeavors (and he has several). Cletis is so cute with his fat dick. And his cute face. I'm gonna kiss his face and maybe his dick too, now. ^o^
Love,
Rowan

Gruffydd's Journal 5:1
Posted 9 years ago(This is my contribution to our in-character D&D journals our crew decided to start writing as a new summary format)
(The 5:1 in the title mean season 5, journal 1. This is for my own records.)
---
Journal : 1st of Wedmath
(Since Time progresses equally within the Ages we have visited, the year is omitted)
I've decided to start keeping a journal. Several times recently my life has been in very real danger, and today was no exception, so it seems a good idea to keep some sort of record in case I should be killed.
Ugh, how callous and detached my writing is while I'm Time-Touched! Perhaps I will rewrite these entries some day if I should cure myself. For the moment, the benefits outweigh the coldness and muted emotions- although the muted emotions themselves have also been a benefit from time to time...
At any rate, here I sit in my "Mage's Mansion" pocket-dimension, alone for the most part except for my Unseen Servants. The human children we rescued seem content to remain at the banquet-table to be waited on, and the enemies' wounded Kobold-slaves remain unconscious. I suppose that's just as well. But where is everyone else?
Today was a mess. We arrived back in our own timeline (or my own, at any rate) to find a battle waiting for us. We saved the children, the swords-woman Olivia, and several of the enslaved kobolds (although many resisted thanks to their families being held hostage, poor things). We fought and killed who-knows-how-many undead; I was particularly happy to be able to test out “Telekinetic Sphere” to lift and drop three Ghasts into a “Wall of Fire” I had made earlier (experiment with this more later! How high can I take a foe before I drop him??).
After that, things went downhill. The Dragon's other forces were more powerful than we thought- a flock of some twisted dragon-eagles came down after everyone else ran off in a panic to fight gods-know-what-else to the south. I hid with some of the kobolds in a building, but then remembered Olivia and those children were totally exposed!
Not knowing what else to do, I ran out shouting to them, and opened Mage's Mansion right in the battlefield. I invited everyone to enter for cover- even threatened some of the kobolds, but they STILL refused. At least Olivia brought the children in to safety.
The dragon-birds were still on their way, so I started dragging some of the wounded and unconscious kobolds into the Mansion. Raktus showed up (just what I needed...) and at least helped to load in a kobold or two- though he did complain bitterly about it being a waste. Saving lives a waste! I'm Time-Touched and still have a bigger heart than that conceited minotaur!
Anyway, the worst of it was when the dragon-birds arrived. Foolishly I thought I could “Shout” them down if I timed it right, but they breathed acid on me before they were even in range! It got me badly, too- I feel half dead now... if the others don't come back by tomorrow morning, I suppose I'll use a “Limited Wish” spell to mimic a cleric's healing spell... that should help.
Needless to say I immediately stumbled into the Mansion for cover. The doors closed behind me, of course, but I opened them again for the others- nothing uninvited can come in, anyway. Odd thing was, nobody came in after me! I checked the kids and kobolds were safe, but I was so worried I came to look out the door again.
Olivia even came and offered to go find my companions- I warned her away from that idea due to the dragon-things, but she seemed to think they were trained only to kill me and my friends. A chilling thought. Anyway she ran out before I could stop her, and now there's no sign of anyone outside- not even that Raktus!
Why does that minotaur bother me so much? He has a cool disdain for weak things and is not inclined to save lives without prompting- and I can see the logic of that, of course, but still. He's boasted several times that he could kill me with a touch if he chose to- which would be laughable if it didn't make me so angry. Of COURSE I know about the “Slay Living” spell- hells, I could do it to him twice before he could even point at me. And I'm the more powerful caster- I am! I've seen the limits of what he can do with “Arcane Sight,” so I'm not afraid of him. It just annoys me- good thing I'm Time-Touched and can hide that emotion easily.
What does Weiss even see in the bull? Weiss is such a big, kind fellow, and seems to put everyone else first- I'm not jealous, of course- but Raktus seems exactly the opposite sort Weiss would come to love. The way Raktus tried mind-reading at the festival! Mind-reading!! It was easy for me to resist, but I'll bet others were open books to him. Such a callous invasion of privacy- the height of rudeness!
I've had my fill of love, anyway- I am definitely not jealous.

D&D Main Plot Summary & Catch-Up
Posted 9 years agoAs I posted in this other journal, I'm about to start a new format for updates on our furry D&D campaign, but first, to catch up!
-PLOT-
Time has been broken. As its currents flow back and forth across the eons like a winding river, a gash has been carved straight through reality, linking 5 eras in history and filling them with destructive time-rifts and otherworldly creatures. Also during this destruction, a city that was once prosperous was sacked, and then vanished completely- only to reappear as a massive, dark ruin wherever Time is most wounded...
Three terrible factions have taken advantage of this tear in time. The tiger-race of cruel Rakshasas; an evil dragon and his twisted offspring; and an alliance of technologically-advanced Mindflayers and Doppelgangers.
The only people trying to thwart these plotters and heal time are an odd assortment of ill-matched adventurers who all became involved- more or less unwillingly. Whether they like, love, or hate each other (or many at the same time), these individuals find their best hope of survival is to stick together until Time is healed again.
-TIMELINES-
"The Paleolithic" - the very beginnings of civilization as we know it. Races are segregated in strictly-maintained holds across the world, technology and magic do not even exist yet that people know, but a race of ancient dragons and old, forgotten gods suggest an even deeper, older history that has been lost...
"The Golden Age" - home to the greatest city in history, thanks to recently-achieved harmony and coexistence of all races working together. All is not perfect, as a race of powerful Rakshasas cruelly dominate other parts of the world, but they seemed to disappear after this era...
"The Dark Age" - after the Mindflayers destroyed the golden city long ago, and its ruins vanished, the world divided itself into clans and kingdoms. A kind of prosperity began to return under the rule of a benevolent Empress, but the giant, ruinous Dreadful City reappeared, and it was to this that many of our heroes from this timeline were originally drawn as explorers...
"The Waning World" - Virtually no progress was made in history since the Dark Age... some of the Dreadful City was explored, but much of what was being rebuilt across the world was lost during a thousand years of stagnation and decline...
"The Frozen Waste" - The world has entered an ice-age, during which most humanoid races have dwindled, leaving the heartiest beast-races to eke out a tribal existence in the frozen ruins of what the world used to be...
-CHARACTERS-
Arkanum (Ark) - Kobold Rogue/Sorceror : (Currently active party member)
Ark was once a child of "Papa Swampy," the great, evil black dragon whose family have tried to use the wound in Time to their advantage. A past rebel, he was cursed to give up his dragon identity and be reincarnated as a kobold.
Origin : Born as a kobold in the Dark Age
Played by Arkanum Zilong
Ashe - Vanara Bard : (Removed from the party, currently acting on his own elsewhere)
A member of a slave-race of monkey-people cruelly exploited by the Golden-Age Rakshasas. He spent his time as a bard trying to be a valuable enough entertainer to avoid the Rakshasa cook-pots. He briefly joined the party, but allowed himself to be "collected" by dragons in order to provide the party with dragon-knowledge.
Origin: (Golden Age?? - unknown)
Played by Cletis Bojog (also the DM)
Blue Pine - Half-Orc Monk : (Unknown)
Blue joined the party early on and was a valuable asset both in and out of battle with his peaceful, kind disposition. He determined he was in need of further training and meditation, however, and went up into the mountains to pursue both of these. Yet shortly thereafter, events were set in motion that ultimately thrust the party a thousand years or more into the future, and Blue was left in the Dark Age.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Swampstomper
Bulfruke - Dwarf Barbarian : (Deceased)
Bulfruke joined the party in the turbulent time immediately after its first time-jump, but a Mindflayer consumed and destroyed Bulfruke's brain before the party could save him. Like Sam, Bulfruke was offered reincarnation, but his soul chose to remain in the mead-halls of his fathers. Sam, however, was reincarnated with Bulfruke's appearance.
Origin: Waning World
Played by S-Dawg
Dukris (Duke) - Orc Fighter : (Currently active party member)
Duke was a young tribal orc who once fell in love with an elf. However, this relationship led to the betrayal of Duke's clan, and for a long time Duke believed them to have been wiped out completely. Duke's mind suffered a mental attack and possession by one of the Mindflayers, and through saving Duke the party first learned of their involvement.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Duke Rocheister
Gruffydd (pronounced "Griffith") - Halfling Wizard : (Currently active party member)
Mysteriously "adopted" by a clan of elitist wizards and raised as a sort of pet, the hobbit was also taught some basic magic when he was discovered to possess the ability. He first came to Dreadful City to set up his own alchemy shop and atelier, but has since become tempted to join a dragon's "collection" and gain fuller knowledge of magic and a greatly-extended lifespan.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Rowan Bojog
Michael - Human Paladin/Grey-Guard : (Currently active party member)
The god Horkoth is believed to have engineered and created this Paladin for the sole purpose of healing the rifts in Time. Michael has a strict sense of justice and duty, but is conflicted and at times resentful of being created for the use of a god. His cleric follower, Sam, is loyal to Michael but often acts as his liaison to deal more kindly with those around him.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Lokven
Niko - Panda-Bear Monk : (Unknown)
The Monk known as Niko appeared with his orc companion, Rikki around the time of the party's first time-jump. The two were inseparable, and while party members, they often went off on their own quests. When the party was first thrown through Time, Niko and Rikki were not to be found afterwards with the rest of the group. It is unknown whether they time-jumped with the party but to a different location, or jumped into the past when the party jumped forward, or if they simply were not caught up in the time-jump at all and remained in the Dark Age.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Nikogor
Raktus (Rak) - Bull-man/Minotaur Necromancer/Cleric : (Follower of Weiss)
Raktus was introduced to the party late, after he and Weiss had developed a secret romantic relationship in the Golden Age. A bull with a dark past, Rak has given up a life of evil and killing to follow his love and turn to good (or has he?). See also Weiss's entry.
Origin: Golden Age
Played by Sonne "Sunny" Osbourne
Remnic - Catfolk Ranger : (Unknown)
A mysterious cat-man with a magical book that would tell him his fate, Remnic the Ranger was an early companion of the party. In search of the missing pages of his fateful book, Remnic often adventured with the party, but often on his own as well. He was adept at using a Ring of Feather-falling to confuse and escape his enemies by leaping off buildings even as he continued to fight them from a distance. Similarly to Titus, he left one day on his own and did not return. The true nature of his book also remains unknown.
Origin: Golden Age
Played by Remnic Ashru
Rikki - Orc Fighter : (Unknown)
Rikki the Orc appeared with his panda companion, Niko, around the time of the party's first time-jump. Their fate is unknown- see also Niko's entry.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Rikki69
Sam - Formerly Human, reincarnated as a Dwarf Cleric : (Follower of Michael)
Sam was originally drawn to Michael's heroism and devotion to Horkoth, and joined the party before he was really ready. On one of his first adventures, Sam was brutally destroyed by a monstrous centipede. Filled with remorse, Michael and the rest of the party took his remains to a Druidess who enabled him to reincarnate- only Sam's mind and soul now inhabit a body with the lineness of Bulfruke. See also Bulfruke and Michael's entries.
Origin: Waning World
Played by Lokven
Sol - Formerly Elf Wizard, now a Skeleton Necromancer : (Deceased, undead)
A proud, talented fellow with a dark side, Sol joined the party on their earliest adventures before his Wizard-Guild recalled him for reassignment. He was absent when the party time-jumped, and the remaining deeds of his life are unknown. Ages later, the party discovered a cackling skeleton who regrets undeath and now seeks only oblivion. However, he holds valuable information in his memory somewhere, and seems familiar to those who once knew Sol long ago...
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Hitsugaya1987
Titus - Minotaur : (Unknown)
An enormous Minotaur in chains, a mere shadow of the powerful creature he was born to be- Titus was magically bound and weakened, seeking freedom from this curse in the company of adventurers. Relations with the party were strained, unfortunately, after Titus slew an enemy who had surrendered- according to a frightened and battle-weary Gruffydd, who was the only witness to the alleged murder. One day the great minotaur left and did not return. His fate is unknown.
Origin: Dark Age
Played by Hitsugaya1987
Weiss Schnee (Weiss) - Polar-Bear Ranger/Monk : (Currently active party member)
Born to a tribe of bears in the final era of the world, Weiss came to the party with rustic (some might say primitive) ways. His respect for life- even the life of a wild animal- is admirable, however, and his “simple” views have often been a moral wake-up call for the party. Weiss met and fell in love with the Necromancer Minotaur Raktus in the Golden Age, and has made great strides in redeeming the once evil creature. Originally seeking his lost sister and vengeance on a spirit that killed his parents, Weiss has now accomplished these tasks and follows the party out of loyalty, though he often questions their true motives.
Origin: Frozen Waste
Played by Sonne "Sunny" Osbourne
Zanendithas (Zane) - Half-Orc Wizard : (Currently active party member)
A flashy dandy of a man, Zane takes advantage of being a good-looking human and a good-looking orc all at once, to melt hearts even as his ice-magic freezes his enemies to the bone. Though his style of battle can be flamboyant and playful even in the darkest of times, Zane often keeps to himself when at home. He eschews drama and tension in favor of reason, and studies his spells alone in his free time, though he and Gruffydd have bonded over spells and arcane knowledge from time to time.
Origin: Waning World
Played by Zeke Silverwind

New Format for D&D Updates
Posted 9 years agoWell it's been TWO YEARS since my last update on our online furry D&D game- yikes! We've now been playing this campaign for 4 years, and are beginning our fifth!!
Obviously the old format for D&D updates was too much of a hassle for me to keep up with, so something has to change. Our crew came up with the idea of doing journals or "diary entries" after each game, describing the session in character. I thought that was pretty badass, so I'm gonna do it that way, and if other players post in-character journals I'll link to those so we can follow along and get the story from each other's perspective.
Check out the massive plot summary, character files, and timeline descriptions here!

Doing some market research, and I would love your input.
Posted 9 years agoHowdy everyone, Cletis here. As we get closer to July 4, we get to thinkin' about independence. Specifically, independence from crusty day jobs. Yes! I want to go into business for myself, but I need to figure out how I am going to launch into self employment before I blow a bunch of resources doing it. This is where I need your help. I have a short list of questions about peoples' online spending habits, and need as much data as I can get. So, if you could take a couple moments to answer the questions below, you would make me one very happy donkey.
I will answer first to demonstrate what I'm looking for.
(If you prefer answer in a note for privacy, that would be great too.)
Here are the questions:
1: What do you spend money on online, and why do you buy it online rather than in a physical store?
2: Do you ever buy from small online specialty companies (as opposed to amazon, newegg, etc)
3: What was it about your most recent online purchases that made you decide to go through with the purchase?
4: Please tell me about a time when you nearly made a purchase from an online provider, but decided not to. What changed your mind/dissuaded you from buying?
5: What is the average amount that you spend on a single online purchase?
6: How long do you usually wait between completion of payment and delivery of the goods or services you have bought?
7: Is there a niche in online business that you feel is sorely lacking, that you would drag your friends to if a company appeared to fill it?
8: What kind of online business would you advise me to open?

WOOHOO WE'RE BACK!!!!
Posted 9 years agoThanks Dragoneer!
We are back into our account and not going anywhere. Yay!
ALSO- a billion thanks for the many new watches we've received. We know most are probably just people who set up new accounts after losing their old ones, but we appreciate the re-watches as much as the original watches. You guys give us so much positive energy, motivation, and inspiration!
Love,
Cletis & Rowan

100 Questions
Posted 9 years agoMost of you know this pig can't resist a good quiz. ...or even a bad quiz. ...or peanut butter, but that's a different story.
001. Real Name: Rowan Gruffydd Bojog
002. Nickname[s]: Rowan. I also have a spirit name, and I am hella not going to post it here, haha.
004. Male Or Female: Male
005. Elementary: A little kid in a little school in Kentucky. It was the 1980s, so I dressed in layers and bright colors, and my voice was very slow to change, so I was often teased for "sounding like a girl." But people seemed to like me.
006. Middle School: Scrawny kid afraid he was gay, still in Kentucky. I wound up making friends with the rich, popular kids- as well as a lot of the poor, inner-city kids. So looking back I was really popular, I was just scared to death most of the time.
007. High School: All my middle-school friends went somewhere else. In the new school the rich and popular kids HATED me and treated me like crap for being gay (and I hadn't even admitted it to myself yet, let alone come out). I'll never figure out why the rich and popular kids loved me in middle school but another group of equally privileged kids hated me in high school... it was a super dark time, but not having friends meant I worked really hard and became kind of a badass at the clarinet.
007A. College: Went to a big university with a top-notch music school. Came out of the closet, made great friends, and learned so much about performing. The down-side was I came into college believing I was a badass and would always be a badass, so I didn't work very hard, and I fell back to being just average for my age.
008. Hair Color: Light brown / dark blond
009. Long Or Short: For the past many many years I've had "hobbit hair," just kinda floppy and curly and does what it wants. It's a bit shorter now but still does what it wants.
010. Loud or Quiet: I'm a pretty quiet, retiring type. My favorite days are spent at home. I'm telling you guys, I'm a hobbit.
011. Sweats Or Jeans: Sweats, or just a bathrobe.
012. Phone Or Camera: Yeah no. Technology is noisy and distracting and stresses me out. I mentioned I'm a hobbit, right? XD
013. Health Freak: Cletis and I are sedentary and don't exercise, so we're both rather fat, but we eat VERY healthy- organic, cruelty-free when possible, predominantly anti-cancer foods, also heart-healthy foods with no trans fats.
014. Drink Or Smoke: Used to drink lots. Cletis got gout though, so now it's just a glass or two of wine a day. We smoke pot when we can get it, but it's not legal in Texas yet, so not really.
015. Do You Have A Crush On Someone: Cletis and Sam Gamgee. I'm not gonna lie.
016. Political orientation: Pro gay marriage, pro universal healthcare. Otherwise... politics are not my problem. They're far away in DC spinning their webs- I say let them. I thrived under Carter, Reagan, the Bushes, Clinton, and Obama. Whoever the next president is, I will thrive.
017. Piercings: Used to have pierced ears, now I'm not pierced anywhere.
018. Tattoos: I am very weird about it- I can't stand the thought of someone doing something permanent to my body, even if it's my own decision. It panics me and I'd just rather not. I don't mind them on other people, though, and Cletis has one.
HAVE YOU EVER [BEEN IN]:
019. Airplane: Yeah before I was 2 months old I was flying. It's not my favorite thing but sometimes it's necessary.
020. Car Accident: Several, but none with any serious injuries.
021. Fist Fight: A kid hit me in 3rd grade. I'm not a violent person. See above = Hobbit.
FIRSTS:
022. First piercing: ears, sophomore year of college. Took them out a few years after grad school.
023. First Best Friend: A little girl at church and I would laugh about poop a lot when we were 3.
024. First Instrument Played: Piano, age 5.
025. First award: Won the science fair in 2nd grade, won the spelling bee many times through school.
026. First Crush: A guy in middle school. He was big and loud and funny. I wanted to cuddle with him in bed.
027. First Language: English
028. First Big Vacation: I was born in Japan, then lived in California, then traveled across the country by the time I was 2. Disney world wasn't such a big deal after that.
LASTS:
029. Last Person you talked to online or in real life: Cletis. Duh, he's my husband.
030. Last Person you texted: A flute player friend of mine.
031. Last Person You Watched: ??? I just saw Cletis walk past on his way to the office... ?
032. Last Food You Ate: Delicious french toast Cletis made.
033. Last Movie You Watched: I really don't watch movies. Trying to remember.... I think about a year ago I watched Polyester with a friend.
034. Last Song You listened To: Celtic / Minstrel / Tavern music we have on Pandora, to make the house feel like a fantasy.
035. Last Thing You Bought: Groceries!
036. Last Person You Hugged: Cletis! I hugged his belly with my arms and hugged his dick with my lips.
FAVES:
037. Food: I avoid pork, but not 100%. Otherwise, everything. Seriously I enjoy every type of food except stuff that's just gross and people eat it for bragging-rights (durian, ghost chili, tripe, chitlins, etc etc).
038. Drinks: Tea of all sorts.
038A. Cocktails: I love cocktails of all varieties, but I hate Cynar, Campari, and scotch. Sorry bout it.
039. Clothing: I most love soft pants and light shirts. So I'm usually in sweats or pajama-pants, and a t-shirt.
040. Book: Lord of the Rings. I could live with ONLY Lord of the Rings, and I couldn't be happy without it.
041. Color: Dark blue-violet. Some call it "indigo," but not everyone does.
042. Flower: Balloon flower.
043: Music: Richard Strauss, Gustav Mahler.
044. Movies: You guessed it- Lord of the Rings.
045. Shoes: None, for obvious reasons.
046. Subjects: In school, music. In conversation, magic and dream-work. Of experiments, big helpless donkeys (sorry Cletis).
IN THE PAST YEAR (2015) I ... :
"X" is for "yes"
047. [dunno] Kissed in the rain.
048. [Samhain] Celebrated Halloween
049. [kinda] Had my heart broken.
050. [BAHAHAHAHA NO] Went over the minutes on my cell phone.
051. [] Had someone question my sexual orientation.
052. [] Came out of the closet.
053. [] Got pregnant.
054. [] Had an abortion.
055. [X] Did something I regretted.
056. [Probably] Broke a promise.
057. [Probably] Kept a secret.
058. [Probably] Pretended to be happy.
059. [dunno] Met someone who changed my life.
060. [Probably] Pretended to be sick.
061. [] Left the country.
062. [Probably] Tried something I normally wouldn't like, and liked it.
063. [] Cried over the silliest thing.
064. [NUUUURP] Ran a mile.
065. [] Went to the beach.
066. [Wasn't to begin with] Stayed single.
CURRENTLY:
067. Eating: Second Breakfast
068. Drinking: Tea
069. Getting Ready To: Practice!
070. Listening To: Celtic / Minstrel / Tavern music on Pandora.
071. Plans For Tomorrow/Today: Get drunk by lunch-time (it's a day off).
072. Waiting for: The chance to move out of Mordor (Texas desert).
YOUR FUTURE:
073. Want to have kids? Nope. Kids are loud and messy and ungrateful. Cletis would be a kickass father, but I would never love kids as much as I love him- and kids should have parents who put them first.
074. Want To Get Married: Already married!
075. Careers in mind: Orchestral Musician- oh hey look, I am already!
WHICH IS MORE ATTRACTIVE IN A MAN :
076. Lips Or Eyes: Eyes.
077. Shorter Or Taller: Taller.
078. Romantic Or Spontaneous: Yeah dumb. You can be both.
079. Nice Stomach Or Nice Arms: A man's gotta have at least a bit of a gut for me to pay attention to him. What can I say?
080. Sensitive Or Loud: Sensitive because loud is annoying.
081. Hookup Or Relationship: Why can't it be both?
082. Troublemaker Or Hesitant: Do you just fucking choose random attributes and set them in opposition when they really aren't?
HAVE YOU EVER:
083. Lost Glasses/Contacts: Probably? I lost the memory of it, too.
084. Ran Away From Home: That should be "Have you ever *run away from home." Making mistakes like that in conversation is forgivable, but not when you had the time to look it up, dipshit. Learn a new language. Since you don't know English, you're starting from square one no matter what.
085. Held A Weapon, For Self Defense: I've picked up a sword when I was afraid someone had broken into the house, but there was no one there, so I've never used one.
086. Killed Somebody: No.
087. Broken Someone's Heart: Yep. That's what happens when you're a stupid, lovesick kid and you rush into the wrong relationship... twice. Either you break their heart or they break yours.
088. Been Mistaken for the Opposite Gender: All my life, because I am polite and speak quietly. However... as a big man with a beard, people don't make that mistake in person.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN:
090. Yourself: Yes.
091. Miracles: Yes.
092. Love At First Sight: Maybe? Cletis and I fell in love at first sight and agreed to marry within days of meeting each other- and now we're married and have been together 7 years. But... we also spent months pouring out our hearts to each other in instant messages before we met, so... it may not really count.
093. Heaven: Yes. I don't know what it is... it may be different for everyone, or it may be an actual place we all go together.
093A. Hell: No. People may go through hell on earth, but that's all.
094. Santa Claus: I will believe in him when he's banging my husband. Until then I deny him- I challenge him to appear. Come on bitch let's do this.
095. There was supposed to be something here... but nope no 95. (Whoever made this quiz... you are not clever.)
096. Magic: Yes. Religion is a kind of magic. Tarot cards often work. Astral projection, collective unconscious, miracles, hypnotism, prayer, visualization, psychic phenomena- I've experienced too much in this life to believe otherwise.
ANSWER TRUTHFULLY:
097. Is There One Person You Wanna Be With, Right Now: Yes, and stop capitalizing every word.
098. Are you seriously happy where you are in life: This is a choice we make. Often I am.
099. Do You Believe In God: I believe in God, but not the way people think of God. I believe in Jesus, but not the same way most Christians do. I believe in cosmic powers separate from God. I believe in the Valar. I believe in Angels. I believe in the spiritual forces I have met outside of myself and in the inner world. There is more in this universe than atheism, christianity, wicca/paganism, science, or any other kind of magic can explain- and we've lost touch with it. Find your own way. I'm being serious.
100. Post As 100 Truths And Tag Five People: I owe you shit. I'm calling it 100 Questions and tagging zero.
Is it tldr? Maybe. But I had fun and that's the whole point! You should fill it out, too- especially if you read this far!
001. Real Name: Rowan Gruffydd Bojog

"It's a great movie!" ... "STFU!!!!!!!!!"
Posted 9 years agoI'm sure you guys have experienced or at least heard about that thing that happens when people hype something really hard, and it just makes you more and more determined never to experience it. I had a new thought about it, though:
What if this happens because my decision is already made? Would it happen if I had never heard of the film/song/game?
What I mean is, if there's a particular game for instance, and I've heard about it and decided it wasn't something I was interested in, then it makes sense that hearing endless hype would make me hate it more and more. Then it wouldn't really be about stubbornly deciding "other people don't know what's good" as much as a feeling of "stop nagging, I already decided it wasn't for me!"
But if I'd never heard about it, and my first time hearing about a game or a movie comes from a friend who says it's amazing, I think it would be more appealing than something I'd already passed up. Maybe?

Something everyone in our generation should see.
Posted 10 years agoThis is important for your life, and mine. It's not a big dick. It's not a video game. It's actually kind of insulting... but when I read it (laughing a lot) I realized it's time to take MYSELF a lot less seriously and take my GOALS (and hard work) a lot more seriously.
Seriously, read this. It's cute and funny- and good for you.

Fucktober
Posted 10 years agoIf you celebrate Orctober, Porktober, Whatever-The-Fucktober, keep it confined to what YOU celebrate. Screaming at people that it should be Bucktober or Foxtober (as if foxes need their own month) is just like screaming and crying and peeing your pants because you celebrate Christmas and someone else celebrates Chanukkah. Get over it and do your own thing! Have fun! Stop being bitches. There aren't enough months to go around, so you're gonna have to share. Like grown-ups. ...or children.
Love,
Rowan
