I'm taking a break from twitter. it's just too much for me there. the doom scrolling, the petty arguments, the overwhelming amount of information daily... nah. i am done for a while.

i havent been drawing much, i am 80% through my second pregnancy. i caught covid recently and we all three had it over here, partner, me, and our toddler. thankfully those two bounced back to normal after a few days. i took a bit longer and am still feeling the fatigue, but it is a lot better than it was. Oh boy. it was one of the worst sicknesses i have had in a long damn time. We are all okay though! my taste and smell is even coming back! (it was not gone completely, but i could only taste or smell less than half of what is normal) All i gotta say is, if you catch covid, dont feel ashamed, it is going around even through vaxxed folks, so, just focus on getting as MUCH sleep as possible. seriously. i was lucky to be able to sleep it off as my partner watched our kid most days. sleep was the best cure. (being pregnant i couldnt even take most meds for colds/flus, so sleep and tylenol, baby. that was my escape)
my grandmother is currently fighting covid as well, she is taking it much harder, and i hope she is able to pull through!

I have returned home from a quick trip to see the love of my life. had to travel to another city and the airport solo, so that was a fun way to be independent for the year. lol
everything was fine there except my flight was delayed 2 hours to get there. but otherwise it was all smooth. it really take a lot out of me to be in or around airports and shuttling to and from. x_x everything is so loud and frenzied and the energy is intense. i almost had a panic attack TWICE and once i almost fainted, i stg. BUT I DID IT. HELL YEAH.
and seeing him was worth every single second of chaos at the edges of my mind.
I had a really wonderful time, and i am exhausted.

It is late and quiet, I am lonely. I feel like reaching out to strangers or anyone that reads this and responds. :>

First, I have noticed my art getting fewer and fewer comments- 0 comments on a submission is not rare for me. I am unsure if that means anything to do with my art or the general site is this way. Of course more popular people will get more comments just in the fact that their art is exposed to more people. It is quiet here though. I am making an effort to comment more on art i like, anyways! :>
So, lately i have been going through an LDR. it has been over two months since i saw my partner last. it was difficult and then easier and i am back at difficult, so i am assuming these things wax and wane like everything else. I am hoping to feel better about it soon. I hope to see him soon. I am worried about how seeing each other for a day or two will effect the bounce-back. I am starting to heavily doubt i can do this for much longer, but i don't really know what that means either?
I have also been off of a medication that i grew heavily addicted to... every single day i think about how i would like one. it has been over a month since i had that medication, and every day i wish i had it. i know i could get it if i really wanted to but it was messing with me in many ways. So in times where i feel particularly lonely and it is dead quiet, the thought of having something that will take me from that feeling is tempting. I am always telling myself the cons outweigh the pros. so far so good.

I feel weighed down in doubt. Send me your positive vibes, brohs.

Hello!

I figure I should let you all know that the last two weeks hit me hard;
I lost my mouse son. He passed away on April 2nd. It wrecked me and any art drive I had.

I tried to work on things owed, but I knew that nothing was coming how you deserved, because my heart was not in it. I didn't want to force myself and give obvious quality differences because of this. :( This being my job made the guilt worse.
A lot of other things went wrong over the span of a week that left me more and more broken and unable to face anything. I was pretty ill from all of this.

BUT...

I am back up and running. I'm feeling my art flow coming back, and I promise you will be seeing things very soon, and regularly again!

Again, I apologize for the sudden drop in activity, but I am not ghosting- er... running off on anyone!
I'm here and ready to tear back into my queue. o`uo
