I am going to finish up the queue I have, and then I might just have quick single slots here and there, or YCHs, to skate by on bills and food.
I can't keep up with my depression, and having to draw for change is doing severe damage to my motivation.
While I do wholeheartedly appreciate the support I have and the commissioners I do get, it is tough to keep going when I really only get commissioned for cheap stuff. I feel that my art just doesn't cut it for myself or others unless it is cheap. I take my time with my art, and most pieces take me up to 4-5 hours (even if they are sketches, i spend a lot of time drawing different ideas and poses), and getting paid so little isn't even worth it when the second the money hits my account it goes off to bills and i am left nothing to even be comfortable on. x_x
I know it is partially my fault for selling my art so low, but I've tried, in vain to sell higher and it hardly ever works out. It doesn't help that I have way less watchers here, than on my old account, but that was my bad on moving. (although, i know i'd not have stayed there anyway)
I'm just exhausted, frustrated, and guilt ridden as well.
I apologize, from the bottom of my heart, that art has been slow. I am also recovering from a nasty cold, and we have little heat in our place.
With all that said, please be patient. None of you have bugged me about your commissions, so I am not complaining there, I am merely asking you to please continue being patient, even if I have to doodle for myself to get the motor running. I promise your art will be finished! I am very appreciative of my commissioners for being so great about this!
