April fool + Macro march 2025 round up

I'll start talking about mah April Fool project, which wasn't meant to be a big project, but for some reason, a bunch of people did
feel for the bait, and I didn't want to leave anyone hanging, so I had to render a bunch of those silly animations.
Like, where the fug were you guys all come from xP, my macro march form didn't even had 1/3 of the responses those journals did! Yet I got 40+ people in total asking me for stuff in various places, And that not counting Discord friend I caught too xP.
Anyway, making all those silly renders ended up taking me 3-4 days of evening work to give everyone their "request" without leaving anyone hanging. I hope all of you appreciated the silliness!
Anyway, if you didn't catch up where the joke was, I scaled up the armature (basically the skeleton of the model) and just put a animation in it, preferably one with lots of movement, end result is that the animation basically sketch the model in very unnatural way giving you very cursed looking mon!! Technically, something got big! Not in the way that anyone would have expected though!!
For anyone curious to see all of that I did during this fated day, I've made the effort to put all the render I did for it in one handy place, have a .rar with all the silly render I did for dis April fool: https://files.catbox.moe/33pwi9.rar
Next for macro March proper: I've managed to make and render 5 pics total for the whole month of March! Which was the plan I had for this macro march, I've didn't had as much free time as I had during the last 3 years, and didn't really bother to organize something in the size of what I did during the last few years neither, so I just did a thing that would at least encourage me to render big cutie but not too much to get burned out, I've made a form for people to suggest me what to make big as well as idea for macro scenario! But I didn't had that many requests somehow, still, I had enough choice to know what I could render that I would still be happy with~
Dere an extra break-down for each pic:
Pic 1 Mesprit:
Out of all the propositions, Mesprit was probably the choice that inclined me the most to complete; the idea that's came with it was: “Giga-sized Mesprit holding Mega-sized Azelf and Uxie on her tail looking smug about her even more enormous size than theirs”, very cute idea! So I've started working on it shortly before March.
I took the scene for this render for two reasons: one is to obviously have the lake guardian model ready, and two was because I also wanted to redo a pic with those adorable red chain necklace~
Background was kinda bad. I tried to follow
tooeks city geometry node tutorial in his discord serv but turn it wasn't really what I needed for this render in particular, ended up being too lazy to try to go for another background, so I just rolled with it.
Pic 2: Calumon
The only not Pokemon idea that got my interest, there was like... Only 2 answer that had not Pokemon choice for some reason and the other was basically just request me some random human giantess lmao (I'm not against the idea of giantess, but it wasn't cute stuff!!!)
The model was from here,, rigging was a bit sus but wasn't a problem for this pic.
This one took me the least time to complete overall, I just recycled the city for an old pic and the loomy view was easy to do.
So I've tried to make some improvement to the make the final pic look better, tried to imitate this pic as a ref, the chaos in particular, but I think I kinda failed at doing the look from afar well enough...
I also tried to set up true sky, but wasn't what I wanted in term of general look, just added cloud form it, also attempted fog, wasn't satisfied again and then doesn't wanted to work more at the pic so I just released it like the final result that was shown.
Pic 3: Meloetta
I've Slacked off at that one, took longer then it should have.
Idea was: “Tinies sliding down an Aria-forme Meloetta's hair, or a Pirouette-forme Meloetta's dress! The Meloetta can then be giggling about it as she watches." as well as "Beeg Melo having tinies stuck in her hairs”, two different people proposed Meloetta, or it was the same person giving me different idea? Not sure, either way, I figured out that I wanted to do both Meloetta form.
I'm not sure why I've chooses other mystical Pokemon as the tiny, I think it was because I've read tiny mystical for the idea proposed, work better for it anyway!
Posing wasn't too bad, Hoopa portal was lazily done, but because it small size stuff, doesn't really mattered for the final pic.
The background was taken from boumbee growth drive 2, removing the tree.
Render 4: Ogerpon
Actually a WIP I've never been done with, figured it would be a good opportunity to finish. The idea note for my wip pic was: “Ogerpon giant dirt stomp, something loomy looking”
I used the same city geometry node as the one from the Mesprit, but improved from following the extra tutorial to have the building rotating, and with a small extra modification to have building only instancing in a vertex group, which I can just vertex paint to choose where I want part of the city to appear from.
I think it turned out alright, building Particle was probably a bad idea (too much clipping); I should have probably posed those manually, was lazy, still, final pic looked good.
Render 5: Lurantis
Planned to be pic 4, ended up as pic 5 as was unsure which pokemon I wanted
End choice was
• Ribombee
• Lurantis
• Jirachi
• Steenee
Ended up with Lurantis anyway, as 1. lurantis got 2 votes and 2. The other three were stuff I've done before by me or were too similar to my other render I did before, and 3. I was given a prompt unlike the other proposition: “Big Lurantis using solar blade”
Started with background, I just decided for scenecity but only keep building to have the “city in the middle of nowhere” trope.
Solar blade itself required me some thought, searched for laser and got this tutorial, which was what I was looking for the laser part
Base was lazy and was just a variant of the laser, it actually looked heh for me, but the bloom hides most of the bad look; it basically just looked like a ball with some noise in the extremities.
Tried to look for a better base, thought gunfire, which gave me the term "Muzzle flash" as a search word, found this tutorial, and it felt like close enough to what I wanted.
After doing it in blender, it wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it was stylized close enough for Pokémon stuff, at the end, but I've kept the old base as an alt pic as it looks more illuminating.
And... That's all the pic I had; I've also done more rendering, especially between pic 4 and pic 5 because I simply came up with lots of ideas during that time for some reason!! Leavanny city walk is one of them, but I'll also have a few more animation that I need to post soon as well as two WIP render that I'll probably finish soon enough.
At the end...Am just a cute big cherrim!!

Macro march (late) round-up post
Posted a year agoI was meant to post it quite a bit earlier than that, but busyness happened, and I ended up completely forgetting about it oops
So, as you guy noticed like...2-3 weeks ago, macro march is over, the round-up being that I've ended up doing 9 of the 10 pic I've planned, unfortunally, stuff at work got me with less free time than anticipated!!
So, wat next? Plan is to do the rest of the pic that I've planned to do, I've already posted the last pic macro march around two week ago, a big Flygon, right here, And the first bonus pic, being the Pokémon in the middle of the ranking, was also posted just today here
So, the only thing left is... the second bonus pic of not Pokémon character being left! Because of the open nature of the vote, it turned out quite a bit of choice ended up having only one vote, and no character got more than 2 votes, so I've ended up with a 6-way tie at the end...
Because I don't feel like doing a render for all of them, the most reasonable thing to do is... Yet another vote!!! Go vote which cutie I'll render big between all that got 2 vote in my macro march poll:
The list being:
- Kirby
- Lopmon (Digimon)
- Morgana (Persona 5)
- Quivern (Palworld)
- Toadette (Mario)
- Isabelle (Animal Crossing)

Gallery updating progress… Again!

As of yesterday I've finally cleared my main backlog of stuff to post, which mean that I've now posted all the relevant commission and render that I've got during all that time at my different gallery, yay
So that's coming next for my gallery?
• I'll go do a check of my uploaded pic at some point to see if there was anything missing, like tag, group folder etc, I'll need to take note of wat's needed to be changed overall, I know for one that I need to add stuff to my FA folder group and also my inkbunny folder
• I'll Need to replace discord image Link with more permanent stuff in the description of some of my older pic I've submitted which would prob lead to more pic posted as needed
• Figure out wtf I should do with the writing story commission I got, I've especially got a interest for those as for late.
• Possibly post a few extra render that I did, mostly the two commission/request I wasn't super happy with, there's also a few gift pic I haven't posted neither too, I'll have to check around those
In the middle of doing all those stuff, I'll continue working at my WIP render I've haven't finished, I have... Quite a few of them to work at, afterward, my note say that I should do the rest of my OC idea list, maybe look around doing some size modding at the various game I got interest at doing some big cutie for, maybe doing a website, very maybe try learning japanese again.

Gallery updating progress

Heya everyone from my various gallery, giving some sort of update of stuff that are happening in those.
As some of you may know, til now I’ve been mostly working at posting my backlog of pic I did ( or got depending of the site), I can now say that in term of my render, most of my backlog have been posted, the only pic that are missing being either pic that I considered that weren’t interesting to post for various reason (that I may post in the future anyway, I'll see) or Commission/request render that I’m hesitant to post.
So here the update:
• for DeviantArt/Ko-Fi/Itaku, where I've posted my render only, you probably won't see much update in those
• for pixiv my last few pic haven’t been posted due to postybirb just throwing a error, but it been fixed in a update recently so we're posting those, progressively, yay, I'll have to check description to give link to other social for...Gif that actually don't show animated in it, boooo
• For FurAffinity/Inkbunny, I'll progressively post the commission I got in those as i've always did, except various of my adorable pokemon OCs from various artist being big and happy :3
• Twitter is still his own thing where I just mostly post the pic I feel like are worth sharing in it, usually it where I post my stuff first but sometime I just forgot to post my stuff in here hue.
• Bluesky is also his own thing in which I post my pic via postybirb occasionally

My plan going forward with my FA gallery
Posted 2 years agoSo as everyone know, FA seem adamant at keeping their rule change which leading to a bunch of artist leaving their website as far of getting banned...
As of currently, I've only uploaded my stuff in FA and twitter, I've mostly considered my FA as a place for me to unload all my render + commission at one neat place while twitter was just here for random macro thought and post my new stuff easily.
However, with FA rule change.. Even though afaik, most of my stuff are safe considering I'm just doing macro cute pokemon, which is considered "sfw fetish", I still have 1-2 stuff I've posted here that *would* get removed if someone decide to report my stuff, and thus I can't really use this site as a public repository of all the stuff I got anymore.
Which leave me with twitter as the only site I'm currently using as a place to post my stuff... except it also a site that's going into the dumpster shit and that's also NOT A ART SITE at the first place and cus I can't set up a gallery here neither.
Because of that, I've decided to start organising my stuff in other art site now:
- Inkbunny will *probably* be my main gallery for now on, as that it will where I'll try my best to post both my commission + my render in here so that people would have a specific place they can look both the commission I got AND the render I did, as of currently, this gallery is empty, but I know a tool that would make the porting process for FA to here more trivial for me. So I'll do my best to at least mirror all the stuff I got in here to inkbunny.

As of currently, I've only uploaded my stuff in FA and twitter, I've mostly considered my FA as a place for me to unload all my render + commission at one neat place while twitter was just here for random macro thought and post my new stuff easily.
However, with FA rule change.. Even though afaik, most of my stuff are safe considering I'm just doing macro cute pokemon, which is considered "sfw fetish", I still have 1-2 stuff I've posted here that *would* get removed if someone decide to report my stuff, and thus I can't really use this site as a public repository of all the stuff I got anymore.
Which leave me with twitter as the only site I'm currently using as a place to post my stuff... except it also a site that's going into the dumpster shit and that's also NOT A ART SITE at the first place and cus I can't set up a gallery here neither.
Because of that, I've decided to start organising my stuff in other art site now:
- Inkbunny will *probably* be my main gallery for now on, as that it will where I'll try my best to post both my commission + my render in here so that people would have a specific place they can look both the commission I got AND the render I did, as of currently, this gallery is empty, but I know a tool that would make the porting process for FA to here more trivial for me. So I'll do my best to at least mirror all the stuff I got in here to inkbunny.

Posted 2 years agoWow big drama in FA due to policy change that will disallow underage art in sexual art and possibly fetish situation, even stuff like baby pokemon apparently which is around the more questionable part of it.
I probably won't be affected myself unless they somerow decide to apply it to macro which is very unlikely but if I get report about it then lol I'll dip out of this place and upload my art elsewhere.
I know a few artist that I like that will definitely get affected by this change if they don't roll it back and the whole thing is getting a big backlash already so hopefully maybe they won't kill their site!!!
If they do, fuck me I'll have to figure out where else to upload my art either way.
Edit: There one gift art I got that I posted here that might get itself deleted actually but I'll see how it go lmao

But I don't really know who's gonna be the subject of my growth drive, it gonna be a pokemon, that's for sure, but which pokemon? I do have lots of pokemon OC to make big so maybe you peep have some idea?

Kifstopher told me how to bypass FA image resolution limit so I changed most the pic I got to one in a higher resolution so that you guy can enjoy the biggerness more. Not all of them though, mostly cus the original file was too big anyway. If you liked one of my old commish but wished it was in higher resolution well now they are in higher resolution!
Prob gonna be the same thing for all the new thing I post, high resolution cuties is good!

Posted 5 years agoI eventually stopped being lazy and ended up deciding to at least post the art of my OCs here cus I saw that were was interest for some of them (I.E mostly giga chebi hue) and because those would make sense to post in my profile, then people here started to show some interest to post the rest of the stuff I commissioned so now I must oblige.
Current plan is to post my stuff at least every 1-2 day depending of my mood. Order is the following:
1. Finish posting the OC art I got.
2. Post everything that isn't been posted in fur affinity already.
3. Maybe post the stuff that were posted in this site already.
I'll go in the order I got them, starting from oldest to newest, unless I get OC stuff in the meantime then they get priority. Expect 99% cute macro with preference for uncommon big cuties and maybe 1% normal cute stuff. Some of them probably never been posted publicly yet or got lost in twitter limbo.
So yeah, just a journal so you peep know what I'm doing with all the stuff I commissioned as people seem to like it.

I commissioned quite a bit of art in various place and I wondered if there would be of any interest to repost all of them publicly in my profile here. Especially since there quite a common theme for pretty much all of them: Giant cute stuff. Would credit to the original artist obviously, although I'll still ask if they're fine for me to post it here (otherwise guess I could just link it in another journal?)
However, I'm also not sure about how much stuff I should repost here. Been making a list of how I could do the whole thing:
- Repost everything
- Repost everything except the stuff that are already in FA so you don't have the same thing in here
