BRFF 2020 / Another Character Appearance?
Posted 5 years agoI'm excited to announce that I will be attending BRFF in Asheville, NC for its premiere year! While I may not be able to room with anyone, I'll be looking forward to meeting some local furries as well as reacquaint with some furries that I've already met in the past.
Also, I might think about bringing one of my costumes over to the con as well. But we all know that I'm of course bringing Hux to the con. So I want to ask those who are attending. If I were to bring another one of my costumes over to BRFF in a couple of weeks, be sure to post a comment below on what character costume I should bring and why do you think I should have that character attend the con for a day.
In the meantime, I'm excited to join you guys for a very fun adventure!

Some ASE meme for some reason
Posted 6 years agoFigured that I'd do the same thing.
Where are you staying?
The Chattanoogan (the host hotel)
What day are you getting there?
On Thursday
How are you traveling?
By car (My mom's driving)
Who will you be rooming with?
Unfortunately no one (Probably my mom)
How is the best way to find you?
I'll more than likely be in suit. If you see a neon green husky with a pink tuff hair, you'll know that it's me.
For social media, you can find me on Twitter (@lpbtheactor) or Instagram.
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I'll be going to the Alabama Fur meet,
What do you look like?
A neon, green husky with pink tuff hair. I am tall (around 6'2"), so could be easy to spot. Also, I might be wearing sunglasses for the event.
Will you be suiting?
Absolutely.
Do you do free art?
No.
Do you do trades?
No.
Do you do badges?
No.
If you have an Dealers Table, what will you be selling?
I wish, but I don't have one
What is your gender?
Male.
How tall are you?
6'2"
Can I talk to you?
Sure.
Can I touch you?
Sure, if you ask me first.
Can I visit your room?
Unfortunately no.
Can I buy you drinks?
Depends on what they have here.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Absolutely. But again, just ask me first.
Are you nice?
I'm nice to everyone, so yes.
Will you be going to parties?
We will see - I go with the flow! My local friends are probably gonna throw some sort of gathering tho.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
I'd like to be called "Hux".
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Only if you ask me first.
Can I look in your sketchbook?
Don't have one
Can I draw in your sketchbook?
Don't have one.
Can I take your picture?
Absolutely. The more photos, the better. If you do post them on social media, then be sure to tag me.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
My goal for the con this year is to have fun and meet new furries, as well as some furries that I know and adore.

My Experience as Scrooge McDuck
Posted 6 years agoI just arrived home from MomoCon 2019, and I want to tell you guys about my experience of cosplaying Scrooge McDuck at MomoCon yesterday.
First off, it was a lot of fun getting to be him for the con because I had an awesome time getting photos (as well as a few videos, hopefully). People loved seeing my cosplay, and it might've been my best one overall. The most common question I was asked was whether or not I made the costume. The answer is of course no. I got it from a costume maker in Peru. Someone even asked me if I ever worked at any of the Disney parks. While I did say no, I happen to know a few people, even a few furries, that have worked or currently working at Disney World at the moment. Some people even confused my cosplay with Donald Duck. I try to tell them that I'm Scrooge. It may have been the top hat or the shirt. Other than that, it was still awesome to see the look on their faces when they see a nostalgic icon come to life at a con.
However, it was very excruciating because I was in that suit for about TEN HOURS! So you can imagine how many pounds I've lost in water weight in addition to being drained in sweat. I did wear an ice vest and drink plenty of water to keep myself cool, but after the ice melted for about three hours, the vest felt pretty heavy which resulted in having aches on my shoulders. For the majority of the con, I had to keep the head off until I was asked for a photo (or a video). At that moment, I would then put the head on and pose for a photo. Then after walking around a con for about a minute, I would take the head off and explore the rest of the con.
But wait... there's more. As I was about to leave the con and go back to the hotel, I end up being bombarded by kids. How many you ask? I don't even want to know. So anyway, instead of ignoring them and trying to get a move on to the hotel, I pretty much get their wish and have them take photos. I think it might be because I'm cosplaying as a Disney character. However, I wanted to make sure that they would be quick.
Thankfully after all of this happened, I managed to get back to the hotel and felt like I was about to collapse. Thankfully, I managed to survive the day.
So even though it was fun cosplaying as the richest duck in the world, it was literally a workout for me being in that suit for a very long time.

I'm going to have lots of fun there, and I'll talk about my experience about it when it's over.
Thank you very much, and I wish you all good luck.

Everybody do the Michigan Rag!
Posted 8 years agoUPDATE: Managed to get a couple photos. Here's one of them: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24531899/
I managed to get one of the official Michigan J. Frog mascot costumes from eBay for $200. And just today, it had arrived at my home. I'll try it on after I get it fixed and cleaned. Why is that? I'll explain.
According to the seller, it was used by the WB Network for multiple ad campaigns including the Dubba Dubba. It wasn't until years later when they issued a new costume. Since the costume I now have was used a lot, the network ended up spending the money to get the new costume. So instead of trashing the costume, it was taken out of retirement and used it for a Haunted House attraction and made Michigan more zombified. In other words, they managed to somehow abuse the costume with bloodshot eyes among others. Luckily it was kept in storage since then. When the WB Network closed down in 2006, both my costume and the other costume were remained in storage for the past ten years. No kidding.
It wasn't until last week when both of these costumes were being either auctioned or sold on eBay by the same seller. I was originally going to get the newer costume, but I backed out because of multiple bid bots. But all hope was not lost because I instead wanted to go for the other costume. And believe it or not, I was the only person to bid on the other costume. I think the reason why nobody wanted to bid on it because of the quality of the costume (mainly the bloodshot eyes). So on the final day of the auction, I managed to place my bid for the costume, and I managed to win the auction about a half hour later.
So now, the costume is safe in my own home ready to be properly taken care of and hopefully back to its normal self.
