I'm about to update my page, and add all my submissions from the last few months since I've been slacking.

I'M SORRY FOR THE SPAM.

I had to take a semi-hiatus due to a lot of personal issues, and now I'm ready to get back to drawing again.

Anywho, I missed you all!

So I've had a rough week.

I quit my job at Subway in early July to take a job working from home.
I did a month's worth of work, and everything seemed fine.
But when payday came, the company, my boss, and everyone I was in contact with disappeared. The systems locked me out.

I Googled the company just because I was curious.
I had been scammed.

I went to the police and filed a report, they're currently working with the FBI to see if there's any other cases with this company. I'm having to close or freeze everything and report to credit bureaus.

The worst part is that I was counting on this money. I've got bills to pay.
Sunday, I've got a $100 fee that I have to pay, let alone my car insurance being almost a month over due and my checking account being overdrawn.

My main concern is Sunday. One hurtle at a time.
So any, and I mean ANY commissions, no matter how small, would be a HUGE help to me. one dollar is a huge help.

Okay so.
Long story here, get ready.

I have a friend, name undisclosed because idk how he feels about the situation being told to others. We've been friends for quite a while, I'd say 5 or more years. But we lost touch about 3 years ago. Recently we got back in touch. And it was awesome! But I could tell something was wrong.

We've been friends again for a few months, and it took up until an hour ago to pry out what the problem was. Due to school costs, bills and being unable to work, he doesn't have food to eat. He's down to 300 calories a week. 300. That's all. FOR 7 DAYS. That's 1 McDonald's cheeseburger. PER. WEEK.

The welfare office wrongly cut him off food stamps because he can't work due to his disability.

Now.
I don't have much in the way of money. In fact, food stamps keep me fed. I'm a single mom that works at Subway just to pay for babysitting to go to work.
But I'll be damned if I just sit here and let him starve to death. So I'm doing hella cheap commissions to try to raise some money.
Anything and everything helps.

So I went and saw Zootopia with
Seriously the best movie I've seen in a LOONNGGG time.
It easily jumped up into my top 3 favorite movies.
I did not expect it to be as good as it was. I expected to walk out unscathed, having just seen another movie that was pretty decent.
BUT NO.
It's smart, funny, sweet, and is incredibly well made.
Everyone needs to see this movie.
