Open for one or two requests
Posted 10 years agoThat's right, I'm going to open up for one, maybe two requests. This is not first come, first serve, so really think about this before you go and post "me! me! me!" on here. :P Here's how it's going to work:
In order to be considered for a free slot, you must a) be a current watcher (i'll know if you're a new watcher, and sorry but not this time.) and b) have read "Of Tunnel Rats and Badgers". And yes, I'm talking about the whole story, not just the first chapter I linked too. I'm doing this because I want to reward the people who've taken the time to get to know me and my characters, and I'm also shamelessly plugging my own work. XD If you HAVEN'T read OTRaB yet, and you want to get in on the request action, I will accept your application IF you read the story before the expiration date of this offer. (don't worry, it's a pretty quick read and well worth your time)
Here's what you need to do.
1. Post your reference (I do require a reference for this. If you don't have a ref, you should have applied for my previous journal about the free ref sheet)
2. Gimme an idea or theme you'd like to see your character in. (usual TOS rules apply, so keep the requests clean please)
3. Answer a question I will ask you individually regarding OTRaB that only a person who's read the story would know.
I will be picking the slots based SOLELY on the theme or idea requested. I don't play favorites with people, if I like your idea, I'll draw it. I also reserve the right to interpret your request in my own way and put my own spin on things if I wish to do so. I also may insert one of my own characters into the pic if I feel like it's required to make the pic work. :P
I will be picking the slots TUESDAY JUNE 2nd at 7:00 PST so if you haven't read the story yet, there's plenty of time to do so. :P
Thanks for being a part of this! :)
Sláinte! Brock
P.S. I know some people can't open pdfs for some reason... if that's the case, let me know and I'll send you a link to the google-doc for easier reading.

Open for 1 FREE ref sheet
Posted 10 years agoI've kinda caught the character creation bug recently. So, here's what I'd like to do. I'm going to do ONE ref sheet for free! That's right, completely for free. What's the catch? Well, I do have a few rules on who I'm going to give this to.
1. Ref sheet will consist of flat front and back "davinci" poses and a fully shaded posed pic, complete with swatches and character bio.
2. This MUST be a new character or a complete re-design of an existing character.
3. You must not have an existing reference sheet. I'd prefer if you didn't have ANY art of the character as I want to help create the entire look, but if you have some rough sketches or things like that, I'll consider it based on what you have.
4. I expect you to be a little bit flexible with the look and be willing to take advice on the character's design. I am a professional grahic designer, so I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to look and feel.
5. I'd prefer that you are able to attend live streams as it makes it easier to work together to create the character. Otherwise, it just takes a lonnnng time.
So, how do I get in on this, you may ask? Here's what I want you to do.
1. Reply to this journal with your favorite breakfast food so I know you actually read all of this
2. Write as detailed a description of the character as you can, including personality and physical appearance as well as any special abilities they may have.
3. Let me know if you're able to attend live streams and when.
I'll pick a character based on need and description and let y'all know which one I'm going to do by Sunday afternoon. Good luck!

2 Years Behind the Stripes
Posted 10 years agoWell now... can you believe it? 2 years ago today, I jumped into the furry fandom with both feet! Funny thing is, I still feel like the "new guy". XD It's been an incredible journey, thats for sure, and I want to thank all of you who've shared it with me. There's been some ups and downs, and I haven't grown as much as I'd have liked in the last year (curse you Art Block!) but over all, I'd have to say I'm very happy with how this little experiment has turned out.
One of my biggest regrets at this point, though, is that I STILL haven't managed to finish "A Tale of Two Badgers". Writing a book is so much harder than one might expect. And it IS most certainly a full fledged novel at this point, current word count is at 88,000 and rising (average novel is about 70k words). Between this and Tunnel Rats, that's well over 100,000 words. O_O
So... goals for this next year.
1. FINISH TALE OF TWO BADGERS
2. New ref sheets for Brock and Bella
3. Finish Brienne and Jaime's reference sheets (especially Brienne's since I've been getting her drawn a lot)
4. Try and finish at least 4 pics a month
5. Wrap up current commissions and trades (So so so sorry for taking so long on these, those of you who are waiting patiently!)
And finally an announcement.
I've decided that I'm not going to be offering commissions any more. Once I finish my current queue, I will not be taking any more money for art. Frankly, I don't need the money and I feel like it stifles my creativity to some extent and stresses me out to be financially beholden to do a pic in a particular way. That's not to say I won't be doing art for other people anymore, quite the contrary. I actually would like to do MORE art for more people and I feel that commissions get in the way of doing that for me. So, keep an eye out for request and trade journals. I'll be much more open to those this year (assuming I can get myself truly back into the swing of arting more regularly)
Once again, thank you all for putting up with this badger madness for the last 2 years! XD I love you all.

Brock & Bella's Song
Posted 10 years agoHave you ever really thought about the power of music and how it can have such an impact on our emotions and how we think and feel? I do, often. And then, sometimes you find a song that so defines something about you and who you are, that it almost seems as if it was written specifically for you?
This is one of those. When I was creating my story and my characters, I had this idea of how Brock and Bella's relationship would work, and why it would work, but it never really jelled in my own head until I bought my first P!nk album. Suddenly, this song comes on, and it so perfectly sums up the relationship between the two, my jaw just dropped. At the time, I was writing the scene where Bella first takes Brock home and they were starting to get to know each other, and I was struggling a little to really get across what they were feeling and what was going on in their relationship, but this song simply made it work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXsL8c93j5A
Glitter in the Air is a song about simply abandoning your own wants and desires and putting somebody else before your own needs, about losing yourself in the embrace of another. It's about the pain and fear of committing yourself so deeply to another person and simply letting it go. It's about entrusting the very core of your soul into the hands of somebody else. And it is, simply put, one of the most beautiful songs ever written, performed by one of the most talented artists alive today.
And I challenge you, find a song that defines your character! I'm not just talking about a song you like, but something that tells somebody something about you, be it music, lyrics, tone, whatever. Find your song.
Just wanted to share a little bit of myself with y'all. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. =3

OC Meme
Posted 10 years agoSeen this floating around, thought I'd do it. :P
RULES :
1. Pick one of your OCs. or how many you want
2. Fill in the questions/statements as if you were your OC.
3. Tag at least four people to do this meme!
4. Tell people that they been tagged with a link from your journal
Answer as your OC/keep in character.
1. What is your name?
Brock O'Meles
2. Do you know why you were named that?
Mainly because my folks were lazy and unimaginative. XD Well, not really. I suppose they thought it sounded fine, but to give a badger a name that basically means "Badger of the Badger Clan" is a little bit lame, don't ya think?
3. Single or taken?
Very much taken.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Well, aside from the fact I may regress if you pop a balloon behind me, I'm quite strong. I can easily lift twice my body weight, and more if necessary. Don't know what the upper limit is because that would probably have to be fueled by adrenaline, and well... yeah. That's not a good thing for me.
5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
Seriously? You think anybody would actually WANT to be me?
6. What's your eye color?
Depends on what age I am, but generally green. As a cub, it's a paler, seafoam green, as an adult it's more like emerald green
7. How about hair color?
You mean fur, right? I don't exactly have hair, but it's grey varying in darkness from almost white to almost black.
8. Have you any family members?
No blood relations still alive, but there's my wife Bella, our adopted son Chuziku, and several close friends who I consider family.
9. Oh? How about pets?
Yup. Caprice. Our messed up ferret who thinks she's a dog.
10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like.
Bullies. At any age, in any form, I can't abide bullies.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I like to draw and sketch, and cooking is a great pastime for me as well.
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
Yes. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes accidentally. It's not something I'm proud of.
13. Ever… killed anyone before?
Yes. Some haunt me more than others... *thousand yard stare*
14. What kind of animal are you?
Is that not obvious? I'm a european badger. Meles Meles
15. Name your worst habits.
Um... cookies. It's bad enough when I'm an adult, but when I'm a cub... *blushes*
16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Bella. No question there. There are plenty others too, Az and Em of course, and the Bergstroms.
17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
Straight.
18. Do you go to school?
I dropped out of high school after the death of my parents, but I got my GED in the army. Then got a degree in architecture online after Bella and I got together.
19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
Uh... I'm already married. Unfortunately my condition prevents me from having children naturally, hence why we adopted Chuziku.
20. Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
None that I'm aware of.
21. What are you most afraid of?
losing the ones that i love.
22. What do you usually wear?
As an adult, generally just chinos and either a t-shirt or a loose button up camp shirt or something along those lines. As a cub... well, usually just a diaper and a t-shirt, cause I hate wearing pants over the pamfurs, find it incredibly uncomfortable... *blushes*
23. What's one food that tempts you?
Cookies. Especially oatmeal cookies
24. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?
I'd say we're comfortably middle class.
25. How many friends do you have?
Enough. I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, so the ones I have are pretty darn good ones.
26. What are your thoughts on pie?
Sure, why not?
27. Favorite drink?
Tea
28. What's your favorite place?
Sitting on the sofa with Bella, reading together and just enjoying each other's company.
29. Are you interested in anyone~?
If I were, Bella would kill me. XD
30. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?
Not a fan of swimming so much, but I'd prefer a lake.
31. What's your type?
Um... what type? Are you referring to D&D archetypes and alignments or in a romantic sense?
32. Any fetishes?
Nah, I'm pretty vanilla. Besides, well, my condition doesn't really let me do much anyway... >_>
33. Seme or uke?
whaa?
34. Camping or indoors?
I'd prefer indoors. I spent too much time outdoors in the rough during the war. Not something I'd like to be reminded of too much.

found it!!
Posted 10 years agoIt's everywhere and getting underfoot, but when you need it, you can't find it ANYWHERE! >_< What am I talking about? Well, this really applies to anything, but in this specific instance, I'm looking for the OC meme that asks your character a ton of questions and you answer in that character's voice. I saw it recently in somebody's journals, but now I cannot find it for the life of me! Just when I want to do it, too... :P
Anybody know where I can find it?
Edit: found it!! Yaaay

Will do this over the weekend.

Take a breath...
Posted 10 years agoOk. I'm seeing a lot of people panicking and running around helter skelter over this IMVU thing. I'd like to ask everybody to just take a deep breath and calm down a little.
First of all, let me say I'm aware of many of the problems the site has had in the past and currently has as well. I'm not looking at this with FA fanboy or hater blinders, but rather as a well informed, thinking adult with plenty of experience in the business world and elsewhere.
In regards to the two major complaints I'm seeing.
1. Lack of transparancy.
I don't see this as a big deal. It is customary business practice to put an embargo on information about a deal or merger until every detail is ironed out and finalized. Misinformation during negotiations can be a major deal breaker and can the whole thing. A lack of transparancy in this situation would be if you suddenly looked down and saw "owned by IMVU" in the bottom legal type at the bottom of the page with no public announcement.
2. The "redistribution" clause.
This is a little more disturbing until you realize it's there for the protection of the owners of the site. Without this type of clause, you could sue the company (and win) for them putting your art on the front page or sharing your work in a site search, or even allowing Google to crawl the site and return your pic as part of an outside search. It's standard legalese for any art posting site. They're not going to sell your work or pics to some outside provider. At most, they might use a screen cap of the site with a thumbnail of your pic in an advertisement. All in all, it's not something to panic over.
This is not to say I don't have some concerns.
The Terms of Service will be retroactive, which means you automatically agree to any changes to the TOS if you already agreed in the past, so they could potentially screw things up that way. I also worry that the AUP may change. Not that I'd mind seeing a little less porn on here, but on a personal level I know that babyfurs and diaper pics are often frowned upon and often discriminated against. I hope that the tolerance levels currently in place remain.
I'm also concerned about FA taking donations while these negotiations were under way. That seems a little fishy to me.
Tl;dr
Don't panic yet. The inclusion of a large lucrative partner to FA could have many benefits that far outweigh any potential negatives. As of right now, we simply don't know how things are going to pan out. Just be cautious, keep an eye on things and an open mind.

Livid.
Posted 11 years agoI received some news this morning that has me absolutely livid.
It's been somewhat rumored in the last week or so (i.e. no confirmation yet) that my rl sister and her husband were separating, and I got confirmation from my mom this morning.
My initial thoughts about the rumors were that my brother in law was just spending too much time with his work (he has a startup biotech firm that takes a lot of his time and requires a lot of travel) and that my sister was just overwhelmed with taking care of their 2 kids. My sister is a little high maintenance perhaps and can be a little bit of a prima dona, so I thought maybe she was over-reacting to things and it would all maybe blow over and things would go back to normal soon enough. But, things are much worse than it seems.
Apparently my brother in law has been having affairs. Plural. Affairs. I'm having trouble typing this right now because my fists keep clenching. I don't know how many or where or with who, but as his business requires him to travel all over the world raising capitol for his startup, it could be anywhere. I don't know when, but I'm assuming that it's been going on for at least a few years as he's been traveling much more in these last 2 years and my sister has been communicating less with us during this time.
Right now, they're renting a separate apartment and they're alternating one week at home with the girls and one week at the apartment. I can't help but think back to Christmas, when we were all together up at our cabin. There were signs of trouble then, but I can only see them now in hindsight. His family all joined us on christmas night and we were all planning to go to his youngest brother's wedding in July. Can't help but wonder if his brothers knew at the time, they're pretty close. I don't know what's going to happen now.
Right now, I want to literally smash his face in. If he were in front of me, somebody would have to pull me off of him, or I'd be going to jail for a long time. I'm not a violent person by nature, never been in a fight, but what this bastard has done to hurt my sister and my nieces is unforgivable. One affair is a mistake, and I think forgivable in the right cicumstances. Multiple affairs is a pattern of behavior and a deliberate attack and disrespect on your spouse. I used to greatly admire my brother in law. His intelligence and drive were inspirational, he was a good dad to his girls, I thought he was a good and loving husband to my sister. They've been married for 15 years, now I wonder how long he's been doing this.
The only consolation of this is that when the divorce inevitably happens, my sister will own half of the bastards company and will probably be set for life.

BEEP BEEP BEEP - ART DUMP OVER - BEEP BEEP BEEP
Posted 11 years agoThank you for your patience and caution. The art dump storm has passed for now and it is now safe to go about your every-day business. There may be some small flurries of art happening over the next few days as more is discovered un-uploaded in my commissions files, but for now the danger has passed.
Be safe out there.

WHOOP WHOOP - ART DUMP IMMENANT - WHOOP WHOOP
Posted 11 years agoWarning!
Warning!
As of 9:43 PST all signs are pointing to a fairly heavy fall of un-posted art on the account of one Brock-OMeles at Furaffinity.net. The art dump will consist of a bunch of unposed gifts and commissions that have been gathering dust since october.
Be warned as cuteness levels will be rising to dangerous levels and the badger index will be off the scale while this art-dump occurs.

Posted 11 years agoI know I was planning on doing a drawing stream based on WWKW questions, but frankly I feel like crap (office bug going around) and I'm really not up to it. I'm taking tomorrow off, so I'll try and get y'all some answers then.

Watcha Wanna Know Wednesday - with a wee wrinkle
Posted 11 years agoIt's Wednesday. You know what that means. But wait! There's more! I wanna do things a little differently today, mainly because I need a little something to spark my drawing desire and creativity again.
So, here's what's gonna happen. You are going to ask questions to Brock, and I'm going to attempt to sketch or draw answers to them in a stream tonight. Now, obviously I'm probably not going to be able to do sketch answers to all of them, but I'll pick a few to try and see how many I can do. The rest of the questions I'll answer normally after the stream.
Any question is open for consideration, so... get to it! Ask Brock some questions!

Haven't done one of these in a while....
Posted 11 years agoI haven't done one of these for a while, but what the heck. It's Wednesday! Whatcha Wanna Know?
Ask me questions. Any question. About anything, life, the universe, everything. Get an answer. Any answer. Answer may not be entirely factually accurate or even resemble the truth, but it will be AN answer. XD
So... go for it!

As most of you know, I've been struggling with an art block for a couple months now, but it looks like the worst of that is now behind me. I'm still trying to pick up steam, but I've been able to sketch and just finished a full shaded pic recently for the swapsies, so I think it's safe to say that the block is over. I may be slower than usual at this point, but at least I'm making some progress again. :)
To those I owe art to, I'll be getting back into those pics soon and hopefully I'll get at least a few done soon, starting with the long languishing garage band group pic. New requests, new trades, and new commissions are still on hold until I clear my queue and finish the rest of the pics I need to get done. To the kiriban winners, I'll be working on those pics as soon as I get things settled.
That being said... the holidays are here, let chaos rein! My sister and her family are joining us for a week, and my two nieces are staying with us for another week after that, so I'm probably not going to be able to do much art-wise until the new-year. I'll try to sneak in some artwork in between all the other stuff going on, but I fear production is going to be slow for a little while, and I probably won't be able to stream much of my work like I usually do.
Thank you all for supporting me and for those of you who really helped get me through the dry-spell. Your support and patience means the world to me. To those waiting for art, I ask just a little more patience and I'll get it done ASAP.

Art block from HELL
Posted 11 years agoThis is getting ridiculous... My creative mojo has gone completely bye-bye, and with it, all my motivation and desire to art. I've tried doing word of the day sketches (which is what got me through the last time I got hit with something like this) but I can't come up with a decent idea for anything.
And what's worse, is usually when I'm creatively stumped on something, the desire is still there to push me to break through and get back on track. This time... I barely even want to try. Reverytime I sit down at my computer to draw, I stare at a blank canvas, or a piece I'm trying to finish, and just sit there for a while before I get bored and close it again.
I'm worried. Not about the art so much, more that drawing and all this is a huge stress relief for me, and things are getting quite stressful at work with the holidays coming up and all sorts of nonsense from the higher-ups in the company. I can actually feel my health deteriorating a bit as my stress levels rise. I just don't feel energized and peppy, for lack of a better turn of phrase. Every day is a bit of a slog to get through, and I don't have my nightly art to ease me down anymore.
*sigh*
Sorry, just kinda venting a little. I don't feel any pressure from any of you, so that helps, it's just the rl stuff that's killing me right now.

Been quiet... TOO quiet...
Posted 11 years agoHey everybody. :3
I feel like I need to explain why I've been so quiet recently, and hardly doing any art. For some reason, since I had the tablet troubles a few weeks back, I've not been able to pick up the pen and draw. Everything artistic related is a bit of a struggle at the moment, and I haven't been able to really get anything going.
I can't help but wonder if it's a seasonal thing for me. I seem to recall last year about this time (beginning of Fall) having the same trouble. Struggling with motivation, getting distracted from art too easily, all that good stuff. Problem is, last year I didn't have any commissions in the queue that really needed to be done, it was mostly trades and gifts and kiriban prizes. Now I've got people who've paid for art that I'm struggling to produce, and I feel very bad about that.
The group pic is my biggest concern, cause it's been in progress the longest. It's currently sitting at 75% complete, and I just need to shade and paint the background, but for the life of me, I just find it almost overwhelmingly daunting at this time (so many fiddly bits on the instruments and other stuff like that.) Hopefully, I'll be able to tackle that one soon and put it behind me.
As for the rest of the commissions I have in the queue (not many, fortunately) if you want, I will issue a refund for the funds, and give you priority for when I do get back into the swing of things (which I invariably will). I know a lot of you don't have a bunch of funds to spare, and that you trusted me with producing your art in a timely manner means a lot to me. So, if you feel that I've breached that trust, I will gladly issue a refund, just send me a note.
Trades and requests... If you've already done your half of the trade, don't worry I will get to your pic eventually. You are not forgotten, and I certainly appreciate the work you did for me. :3 If you haven't done your half yet, then by all means, wait until I get around to doing my half before doing yours. I don't want you to feel obliged if I haven't done my part yet. If you have a request in for me, I do ask that you be patient as I work through this block, and hopefully will be getting to the request soon. Same goes for those who won the kiriban.
Thank you for your patience, and I do hope to start putting out some art soon.

Kiriban Winner!
Posted 11 years agoWe have a winner! However, things got a little... complicated with this. I had 4 people send me proof of the 15k page view,
shadowcollie
vexxus
isyonir
lyserg
and all sent it to me at roughly the same time. Some sent it via Skype, some sent it through notes here on FA. Here's the problem. Neither one provides a time stamp on the notification beyond the minute mark, so I had 4 notifications marked 11:14. XD As much as I'd like to do one for each person who caught the magic number, I'm afraid I can't do so, and I clearly stated as much in the initial Kiriban rules. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6228798/
The ones I got through FA were easy to sort out, since it lists the notes in the order they were actually received, but one person didn't send it via FA at all, only through Skype. This allowed me to eliminate two from the running, leaving me with
shadowcollie and
vexxus.
Both also sent me notice through Skype. Shadow was the first notice I received via Skype, beating Vexxus by about 15 seconds to the punch, however, the note I received from Vexxus on FA was a simple "I got it!" followed a few seconds later by "I'm sending you the file on Skype" which was the first Skype note I got from him. Because of this, there's really no way to tell which came first.
Even an examination of the files sent me was no real help, even looking at the metadata only revealed the minute they were created, not the second they were created. There is no way to determine which notification was earliest between Skype and FA Notes, and the files themselves have insufficient information to determine this as well. Because of this, and because I didn't cover this particular scenario in my rules...
I'm declaring that both are winners!
So, congrats to both
vexxus and
shadowcollie for catching my 15k kiriban. I will do a full-background shaded pic with up to three characters for each of you, so send me a note with what you'd like. :D
Thank you all for participating, and thank all of you for making this possible at all.

About 50 to go!
Posted 11 years agoonly 50 to go for the kiriban! Keep your eyes peeled for it, could happen any day now. Though, without any new art to post because of my tablet issues, it may take a little longer than I expect... Oh well. If I hear nothing from wacom by tomorrow, I'm just going to go out and buy a new one. I'd rather not, but I was so bored last night when I couldn't draw. XD Hmmm... I wonder if I should take it to work and try it on my computer there to see if the problem is with the device or my computer. That's actually a good idea, I think I'll do that. Yay diagnostics 101! :P
Tablet Troubles... and Kiriban!!!
Posted 11 years agoLess than 100 page views to 15K, so keep an eye out. :D
In other news... my tablet is acting really really obnoxiously right now. Something went wonky with software and it's suddenly really jittery and inaccurate when I try and draw. Tried updating all my software, from photoshop to OSx to the wacom software, cleaning it, putting a new nib in the pen... everything. There seems to be a few issues with Wacom and the newest OSx, but research is showing me that it of a different nature than the problems I'm experiencing (more device not recognized issues rather than performance issues)
I have a trouble ticket in with Wacom, and hopefully they'll be able to get the problem fixed or something, or send a replacement (or maybe I can convince them to give me a discount on a upgraded model), but in the meantime, art has pretty much stopped this weekend. The last pic I did was having some minor issues with accuracy, but it's gotten progressively worse, and now I can barely draw a 1" straight line without jitters in it. That being said... I should still be able to use it to finish coloring and shading the Garage Band group pic, so I'm going to be working on that exclusively this week until the problem is resolved!

To all my new wathcers + 15K Kiriban!
Posted 11 years agoUsually I go and personally say hi to each new watcher when they come in, but I've been super lazy recently and consequently, there's a whole bunch of you over the last month or so that I haven't gotten around to saying "Hi!" to yet...
So... Hiya! Thank you all for taking the time out of your busy schedules to watch me, and I hope I'm worth the effort for you. :P
--
On a lighter note, I'm quickly approaching the 15,000 page-view mark (about 180 to go), so i better remind all of ya, capture a screen shot of the 15,000th page view and you'll get a full painted background shaded pic with up to 3 characters like this pic here.
Rules:
-There will be only one winner this time. Last time I did a kiriiban, I awarded several people the prize for capturing 2999 and 3001, as well as a few other things for the heck of it. I can't do that this time around since I got overwhelmed and it took me 6 months to finish the prizes that time. So, just one winner this time.
-In case of multiple people capturing the magic number (I know there's actually some hacking trick to do this, shame on you who try to do that...) I will pick the winner based on the first person who sends me proof of the number.
-Proof of magic number must be a full screen shot showing the entirety of my page. You can send me proof via notes, e-mail (brock.omeles@gmail.com) or via Skype if you have me on there. By the way, I'm a graphic designer by profession, so I know how to tell a doctored image, so don't try and slip one by me. :P
-In case of nobody capturing the magic number, I will select a winner at random from my watch list. So SOMEBODY's going to be getting some art. :D
Best of luck.

Art Update and Status
Posted 11 years agoI feel I have to apologize to some of those I currently owe art too. Particularly the garage-band group pic. Rest assured, I'm not being idle on any of these pieces, just that things are taking longer to complete than I originally intended. Part of my problem is that I have a relatively short attention span. I get bored working on one thing for too long, and as the pics I do nowadays are becoming more and more complex and intricate and involved, they're taking me longer and longer to complete. I get bored with the pic I'm working on, and move on to working on another pic.
As a result, I actually have started nearly every piece I currently owe people and while they're at various stages of completion, none are actually finished just yet.
Garage Band pic - 75% complete (need to color and shade background and instruments still)
Shadowcolie commission - 85% complete (working on shading and texturing background)
Swapsies - 25% complete - finalizing sketch phase
Aussie commission - 15% complete - posing finished, need to start sketching
BenhimeShido - 15% complete - posing finished, need to start sketching
DeadF1 Request - 10% complete - working on posing
there's a few still I haven't quite started yet, but I'll get to them as soon as I finish one of these. Again, I apologize for the delay in some of these and taking longer than originally estimated.

Posted 11 years agoOh yeah! It's Whatcha Wanna Know Wednesday! :P: It's been a long time since I've done one of these, so I kinda forgot... (not really)
So, here's how it works in case YOU forgot. :P Ask me questions. Any questions. About me, my characters, my story, life, the universe, EVERYTHING. Ask me questions and you will receive an answer. May not be the correct answer, or stricly true (or even plausible) but it will be AN answer.
Hop to it! (if you're a bunny, you should be good at this...) Ask away!
