So I am using a program called Whatsapp now to contact international friends.

My Yahoo was hijacked and taken over and customer service did nothing to help, After 3 weeks of contacting the, they said I broke the TOS and my account is marked for deletion so I should create a new one..
SO screw yahoo and now will only be using skype.

SO!! what can I say I survived another FurFright this year and had a blast.

We left Friday morning at 3am Met up with  Scani and  prplhaze,  ~soulwolf~  gryphan and I all headed to FurFright 6 hours till we hit the con!

On the way down a bird hit our car... He flew into the drivers side bumper and crashed into the top passenger side windshield where I was sitting.. have to admit it scared the crap out of me! I also realized I forgot a few key things for the con... 1) MY US MONEY! Yea.. not a good thing to do at an out of country convention... 2) My Swim trunks... Even though it was suggested to swim in my boxers.. Sly sly furs you are trying to convince me! and 3) My Fur suit First Aid kit! - Needed that so bad to help a friend repair his suit.

We got to the con and our room was ready for us! was great as we checked in early and we got a poolside room. At 3pm I joined Team Furfright in the floor hockey tournament and Scored the second goal of the game. Our team beat Montreal (Was Boston vrs Montreal) with a final score of 7 - 2.

Met so many people friday night that the day is such a Blur! I played werewolves that night with the awesome group! and went to bed, was woken by someone who used the emergency fire door as an exit and the alarm went off but besides that Friday was awesome!

Saturday I awoke, ate yummy breakfast and BACON!!! lotsa BACON! I also visited the car show hung out with  Waggable and met the awesome  BerettaFusion and  Aresues Thank you both for letting this Tiger hang out with you at the car show!

I handed out more tags as I had a total of 100 to give away and was aiming for 33 a day. I did the Fursuit parade as well and had a blast with that. I watched the poor maintenance crew clean up the hot tub after someone put bubble bath in it and there were bubbles everywhere! I suited with  ~soulwolf~ for a bit, met  Icerdebluelion as well and kinda got annoyed by a congoer who invaded some personal space and was making those who I was hanging out with very uncomfortable. I played more Werewolves at night and had fun then headed up to my room only to see the hallway covered in plastic cups.. I was like WTF? and security helped me clean them up cause seriously it looks bad on us when stupid things like this go on.

Sunday I made it to the Fursuit games. Did not participate and mostly trolled the games stealing chairs and getting in the way, typical cat things. Wandered a lot did a photo shoot with  Icerdebluelion ,  ~Soulwolf~ and  swiftfoxfire . Wandered around more did kitty things, OH! after the fursuit games people finally took notice to the tags and were all over me for them lol. Went to the late night fursuit parade where myself and  raptorred got into a fight after he sucker punched me during the fursuit parade route. Played Werewolves again and was sad that the con was over..

Wanted to thank EVERYONE i met this year, new friends and old and thank you for making this con an awesome one.

I have sooo many people to thank that I can't list them all!!! I really hope to see the lot next year and even may be at MFF in a few weeks!

So work the next two nights then off to fur Fright at bloody 3am in the morning :P It's alright cause i get off at 11pm so kitty may be tired on the first day and a little cranky.. OR super bouncy awesomely Hyper! so be warned :D ♥♥♥

Looking forward to getting away and just having some fun, I gave BT a bath, and boy did he need one lol He is shiny and white and ready for the weekend.

Am looking forward to seeing all the friends I made over the few years of attending Fur Fright, The amazing Werewolf game players who for the last 2 years always made my Fur Fright feel complete and of course my roomies  prplhaze  ~soulwolf~  gryphan and Myenuk.

So as some of you were following The 15th was the court date for the punk who sold my e-bike to an old lady for $800.00

Well.. Things bloody sucked and the day was just crappy.

Drive was good was my first time driving on the 401 and made it to Napanee without incident. I arrived at the courthouse after playing Ingress for a little bit and then did not know where to go. :P I asked the receptionist after she got off the phone with a really annoying person it seemed as she was getting frustrated and she pointed me upstairs to the court rooms. Well Found the person's name on the court house dossier of trials and walked into the court room and found the officer I was looking for.

Waited until Quarter to 2 before the Assistant Crown Attorney arrived and finally gave me my subpoena. He asked if this was my first trial and I was honest and said yes. He informed me about who everyone was in the court, the types of questions he will ask ((using a lovely play on spousal abuse as examples of questions)) and what types of questions the defense will ask. Also told me to be slow on responses and think things through so it does not seem like they stumped me if I had to think of an answer or date / event.

Then the conversation stopped.. He would not talk to me further unless a police officer was present so it would not affect the trial at all. I understood as it could really effect the case and make him a witness and such.

So when an Officer was available he asked me a couple questions and was confused with the receipts I gave him. He misread the dates on them and thought the bike was fixed after it was stolen so the dates did not match up. However the repairs I sent in were from 2012 and was an electrical problem and he finally figured out what I meant by staring at the date and it finally clicking in. I also should mention that this is the first time the Assistant Crown actually looked over the case as it was delivered to him on Friday which he was off, and did not receive it until today before the court hearing. Also the arresting officer was not available as she was on vacation until November 22nd.

SO during the conversation he asked me if I gave a statement. I said yes I did and it was filmed and video taped at the OPP office in Odessa. As well I gave the officer the receipt for the damage done to the bike and the cost of the repairs. Well none of that got sent to the Assistant Crown to use either so that really screwed up everything. He was worried and would have to talk to the judge and ask for an extension until the arresting Officer was available as he did not have a complete police report.

After our lovely conversation and about 5 minutes past 2.. an older lady joined us in the court room. It was the lady who bought the stolen bike and she was there as a witness as well. It was awkward as we sat there for a bit not knowing who one another was. After the Assistant Crown finished talking to her she asked who I was, she thought I was the person who sold the defendant the bike :P We talked a little and then the Judge walked in at Quarter after.

The Defendant never showed up. The Clerk paged him in the halls and no one showed. The Assistant crown then asked for a warrant to be placed on him and the Judge denied it.

While the Judge was looking over the court documents there was a letter attached to it from the Crown Attorney stating that the Crown will be asking to move the trial date to November 24th. The Assistant Crown Attorney knew nothing of that letter and the Judge read it out to him clear as day. He even said that he did not blame the defendant for not showing up as it states the crown is looking to change the dates of the trial. After a bit of discussion and confusion between the Assistant Crown and the Judge, the Judge ordered the Assistant to find the Crown and "get him in here" to figure that mess out.

Well while they were gone the Judge made some small talk with myself and the other witness. Asked us who we were and how we were doing and such. He seemed very nice. 5 minutes went by and the Crown Attorney arrived and told the judge he sent the letter out due to the arresting officer being off until November and she was needed for the court case.

So they talked about stuff for a bit about the letter being sent and how he will not grant a warrant due to their mistake, even though the letter stated they were asking for a new date and it was not confirmed. They decided the new court date to be on November 24th..

Well November 24th is the week of MFF and I was attending the con, paid for plane tickets as well as a hotel room so I am not missing out. I raised my paw and asked to speak to his Honor. I told him that I was unavailable for that date due to being out of the country. He asked me where I was going and truthfully I said Chicago. He then asked for what.. I said an Art Convention. He then asked me if I was going to see the Blackhawks play and the only thing I could think to reply was "No, I am a San Jose Fan." which made him laugh.

So the new Court date is set for December 3rd we all agreed on that date. While we were leaving and going to the Crown's office to get mileage covered for the travel, I come to find out the other witness did not have a way home as her son was to pick her up at 6:00pm. We just finished the court hearing at 2:30 and I kinda felt bad so I gave her a ride home to Enterprise.

I have to admit the lady was very nice and invited me into her house. we talked for hours and she showed me around her place, looked at Antiques and she took me on a tour of the land she owned and the 5 out buildings. I stayed there until 6pm before I decided to head home.

So.. One Final Chapter in this E-Bike Saga complete! One Final Chapter to go... I hope....

BTW! I got to play with a kitten all evening and he was sooo cute and bitey
but SOOOO cute!!!

So... I got a call from the Police Yesterday (October 2nd) saying that I am being sent a subpoena to appear in court on October 15th..

SO... this makes me think two things...

The guy was an Idiot and pleaded Not Guilty to the charges and now I have to sit though the court case...

and HOLY shit.. i have to go to court and kinda nervous and stuff... I hate public speaking specially around people I do not know. I am fine in suit I feel protected but in front of police, judge, lawyers... NOT fun.

So this lovely e-bike story will have one final chapter... The court case.

Many many months ago before FE2013,  olefin decided he wanted to help tell a story. A story shared by all the furs who work conventions tirelessly, told to those who enjoy the conventions but might not understand just what kind of work goes into it.  olefin covered event videography as staff, and also covered various snippets in the heat of the moment to show people the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a convention. After paring down hours of footage here is a short but sweet story of the con that you don't see (title based off of sprocketdhusky 's catch phrase).

So as a personal appeal to everyone who reads this journal, take 24 minutes of your time to watch this video, pass it along and share the story with others that all convention staffers share. Let people know how hard staffers work to put on a convention like FE or any other and thank them for their hard work. Instead of focusing on the negative, appreciate the positives and try to offer help to solve those problems that you see.

Working a con is amazingly hard work, but it is also so rewarding. I can only think that in the wake of FCN closing up shop I can only say that conventions always need more volunteers. Now is no better time than any to think hard about whether you're willing to commit to working hard and helping put on a con. This video was never intended to be a recruitment video, but a mere small window into what goes into putting on a convention, so think of it as you may.

So myself and  kalidascope appeared today at the Kingston Sheep Dog trials.

We were hired to help promote a new small business that sells Organic locally sourced dog treats and foo called Bow wow Butcher. ((Really bad name i know.. I always laugh thinking they are a serial dog killer :P ))

We had a great time talking with people, suiting having fun and on top of that got Paid for it :D

WE met the awesome owner of the Farm Girl food truck who insisted on buying us lunch! The food was AMAZING!

Can't wait to get my website online and promote more, I made many contacts and people possibly looking to use us to promote events.

OHH If anyone was curious I wore Cavalier my Ruff Collie suit, not my tiger suit.. It was a dog events not a cat one :(

So... my Kijiji post actually paid off... I received an e-mail and this is what it said..

"Good morning, I'm a Provincial Constable with the OPP in Loyalist (Odessa). I am currently conducting an investigation into a break and enter, and in the course of the investigation, discovered a blue and white EMMO e-bike. I believe this bike has been stolen and I have the serial number. I am wondering if this is your bike ? Do you have the paperwork that came with it when you puchased it ? I will also contact Emmo Kingston to see if they have any further information. The time frame seems to match when yours was stolen and when my unsuspecting person, purchased it. Please call me ASAP. Thank you."

So called the Constable and she investigated further and my e-bike has been found. We picked it up from the Odessa police station yesterday ((Thank you  prplhaze and  ~soulwolf~ for the help. ))

The bike is in rough shape.. All the locks are drilled out and you can use anything to start the bike. The alarm is still hooked up and my key fob works on it and the only lock on the bike that was not broken was the battery lock and my key worked fine in it. The back licence plate was taken off as well as the mud guard snapped. The bike is scratched all down the left side.

The only sad part of this was the bike was sold to an elderly lady for $800, and now she is out the money. I also need to get the estimate of how much 4 new locks will be ((Glove box, trunk, seat box, and starter, as well as the back mud guard is snapped off)) and send that to the constable so she can try to get the money reimbursed back to me.

I now have the bike safely locked away at the inlaws so no one can take it again.

So today myself,  prplhaze  ~soulwolf~  kalidascope and Katheryn hit downtown Kingston for the Promenade. The promenade is a big sidewalk sale that they do downtown covering 8 city blocks. The street is closed off and vendors and stores had BBQ's, events and promos going on. We decided to do a fursuit walk about and HAD A BLAST!

We rocked out with the radio DJ's at CFRC ((Canada's oldest radio station))

Met and socialized with our member of Paralment Ted Hsu who was so elated to meet us he took time to do a photo shoot with the group.

I took part in a street magician's performance and still have the card I signed in fursuit :P

Hung out with the Kingston Roller Derby Girls

and  kalidascope and myself even took part in a bout of Dodge ball during the 98.9 the drive Dodge ball tournament

We even were asked to do promotional advertising for Menchies frozen yogurt and RDS Skate boards ((Red Dragon Apparel)).

Kids laughed, screamed and ran away from us :P gotta love kids and how some really open up to us and some really do not know what they think of a giant kitty or doggie walking around.

Will post photos and videos soon, got a lot of editing to work on.

So.. nothing ever happened with the police talking to the neighbor. My Bike was not returned, they will not investigate further as it is hearsay evidence. ((No physical proof that someone took it, just someone saying they think they know how it was)) So if I find it great! if not oh well. Not much I can do about it now, took all the channels I could, plus it's a "victimless crime"......

Back to being myself again. Been getting sleep finally so the stress level is a lot lower, and I have my car so that is a plus right? all in all the bike saved me a lot of money on cab fair back and fourth to work each day so it really paid for it's self two fold.

So.. I want to thank everyone for the support and suggestions through this rough time I been going through.

I did take the advice given and went to the police. They visited my neighbor this morning and the Police are giving the individual who took it until 9pm tonight to return it, or they will be visiting the house with the blue SUV (Which is a drug house that the police know about) and busting some heads.

My Neighbor told the police that he was not there when the bike was taken but the female passenger who was with them asked questions about the bike and he been co-operating fully and even went back to the house to get names and talk to individuals.

Will see what goes on tonight and if I do get a call from the officer looking into this.

Hopefully when this is over I can actually get some sleep. The last 3 nights I have not slept waking up every half hour. May be it's the stress of everything I am unsure.

This is kinda what I feel like doing when I catch the bloody thief!

So.. seems Wednesday night the downstairs neighbor got a lift home from some "Friends of a friend" and they took it.. loaded it into their blue SUV...

So he was told it better be back in 2 days (Saturday Morning) or I will be sending the police to him as he was with the people who took it. He is moving out Monday and if it is not out back when I awake Sunday morning I will be calling the police and telling them my neighbor's friends stole it and he is refusing to tell me who it is.

Can't even trust you bloody neighbors anymore it seems.

This is starting to sound like a bloody soap opera now too...

So heading into work today I noticed my e-bike was taken out of the backyard. Someone stole my electric scooter worth $1300.00. Makes me soo mad that I can't even put something I own in my backyard safely.

I used to ride it everyday to and from work but now I acquired my fiat 500, I retired it and wad looking to sell it. Seems I just can't get ahead like I am trying to.

Hope I find out who took it and get it back. I did call the police and filed a report. Next step when I am done work (which I showed up late for cause of this) is to post in kijiji, facebook and make a huge sign for my front lawn asking if anyone had information on the thieft.

Oh well back to work I go.. 5 hours left.

SO the AC in my flat is working pretty good despite the humidity. Keeping the den nice and cool at around 70* have a smaller unit in the back to help keep the rear of the flat cool and the two units working together seem to be great!

Built a new wardrobe this weekend for the bedroom as well. 6 and a half feet long but it gave enough storage space that was well needed and a nice secure spot to store my three fursuit cases.

Cleaned out my storage locker this weekend too and got rid of a lot of unneeded boxes and junk.

Was a very productive weekend my first weekend off since FE 2013!
